I fail to understand how some people are defending a mechanic that actually shows a "general" direction of an unspotted ship (this type of mechanic very much smells of a cheat). Forget everything else, the fact that there are "better" T4 skill .... think of it as if it was integrated in the same way as "situational awareness" was. Not a game breaker? Sorry ... but I dont and ever will agree.

Ok ... Just enjoy the damn ship. Its a great brawler. Go full secondary build and laugh when dds who overextend panic.

So what. I got detonated in my DDs multiple times, when the shell (one shell) did not even hit me, but it splashed in the water about 2 ship lengths of my side.

Still that does not change the fact that this kind of "skill" has no right to be in the game.

Only destroys game play when you are last ship alive in a DD while at least one enemy has the skill. "Chances" of solo warrior (or at least turning the game) is reduced to 0. BTW...

I feel you bro, but I still think that they are manipulating stuff they call "random" in game. I am not saying its necessary a "bad" thing (specially from the balance perspective), but claiming (and even defending) WG that they do not is naive. I would understand if ppl doing this are their employees, but they are not Anyways guys ... no hard feelings, its just a discussion right?

I understand what you are trying to say. But I still think they are "balancing" stuff with player parameters. You cant prove they are not and I cant prove they are. So this whole topic is kinda pointless.

Oh cmon. You are claiming something you do not know. How can you say that they do not calculate skill, wins... etc etc? Do you have their source code? If so, can we see it? Another thing about random .... random (eg. in C#) is not as random as you claim, but pseudo-random. its a generator that produces a sequence of numbers that meet certain statistical requirements for randomness. Do you see where I am going with this? It is certain that for eg. the matchmaker considers several parameters when setting up a team. We just dont know what parameters .... so claiming that its "random" ... well ... is somewhat very optimistic.

Who knows what happens before you get matched into a team for battle. You know how many variables they can (and probably are) consider, to match you into the game? There is no such thing as "random" ... even the RNG is a well calculated effect. We just dont know the parameters that it considers ...

The person in WG NA who wrote that should get sacked by noon today if anyone at WG still has some "common sense".

Ive seen / heard stuff about the "patent", seen the "stats" .... I agree with many things (including some of my own observation)... But in the end ... I just try to enjoy the game as much as possible, not to be bothered by all this ... after all this game is something (one of the things !) I do in my spare time... I even stopped tracking my stats daily (thats why I removed my signature in the forums), because ... I dont want to become "stats slave", but rather just enjoy that few games I play per day.

Some of you guys who are "defending" WG are so naive. This game is BUSINESS ... of course they will do EVERYTHING to earn MORE money. Including player manipulation ... Can anyone prove anything without source code? Probably not ... specially since everything is "server side". So in the end ... its really just rumors and tin foil theories ...
