The detection problem is bad. As for the radar.... If (and only if) they do a short range, short duration one... then yes, I can live with that. But I fear they will go full range cruiser style, which is a very bad idea in the end.

WG, This has been pointed out many times, and I really dont care about anyone opposing this, because current situation is just plain stupid, but since not a single WG member responded ... well, here we go again: Can we expect any action regarding BB AP penetration on DDs? Currently BBs only use one type of ammo, and before the german BBs were released BBs needed to switch to HE in order to deal with DDs. I know this for sure, because at the time I was grinding the USN BB line, and "almost" every AP shot from my BB resulted in over penetration, forcing me to use HE shells on BBs. I strongly support the BB NERF on this matter, imo it is very well needed. regards.

Idk about that, im not on the track... besides i aint beliving until i see them. I ment ships like USS Albany CA-123...that would make a nice T8 premium.

Id rather see some CA (heavy cruisers), a mix between CL and BB, that would drag meta away from BBs.

I stick with aslain mods for years now. Using historical icons, minimap, detection icons, shell coloring, more visible torps, more visible controls, smoke counter, navigator, training room, moving lights and some ports.

Yeah its bad enoigh that ranked season is in july, when lots of players are on vacation. Having this one day deals in this time is bad marketing decision.

I too think the majority of "bots" are jst bad players who dont give a damn.

Tho we have our differences fkezef I gave u a thumbs up. I also apreciate the effort devs are putting into the game. It is the only game i play and i love it. Last game i loved as much was RTW 1 with SPQR mod. Nuff said.

Had to put down my morning beer at the campsite im in atm to reply to this. As a DD playa im fine with radar, just because any CL using it might get punished. Ok forget Belfast as its an anomaly. As for the BBs... If WG wants to add radar to them fine, but please make it a 10 second one and 7 km max. That would be fair right? As for the islands... welits ok that radar pens them. At least you can peak whos behind the island and if u want to take him out some teamplay flanking is required. Now back to beer and then to the beach... cya bwoyos!

Yes, fires can be a pain for a BB, but you can heal it 100%. I get tons of Fireproof and Dreadnought flags from this. Also CLs in the smoke dont have it as easy as you say. Ive one shot CLs in smoke (and also were on receiving end) many times even without scout plane. CLs in smoke usually turn perfect broadside to bare all their guns on target, and all you have to do is watch with zoom where the shots are coming from. Once you see that ... bye bye CL. AP dive bombers are another RNG driven aspect of the game, but since they are not out yet ... no way of saying if bad or good. I wont even comment on the last line ... So ... where are the days where BBs actually FEARED DDs? Long gone .... I remember when grinding low tier USN BBs ... when i saw several Minekaze DDs in game ... I started sweating. Remember that this game is in its basics a "rock / paper / scissor" game ... and BBs being the rock and DDs being the paper .... well ... rock no longer fears paper, because it can "one smack it". And this has begun to grow into the BB players mind ... that they have no counter except the CV, witch represents a mix of all three, but in very limited presence. And even with that they have (most) very good AA to protect them self. So now we return to the most important aspect of the game ... team play. Should BBs in its basics receive so many tools to counter every other class in the game, just because players can not team play? Hell ... its WG fault ... because BB players can not maintain CL/DD support they gave the BBs all the tools needed to sail independent ... and because of that, people in this game soon wont need to rely on support anymore. Who needs a cruiser suuport if you have good AA, radar, speed, armor, hydro .... and can one shot those pesky DDs? In the end its players fault ... WG only provides to keep the game going ...

The bbingo card is getting outdated, because half of the BBaby requests have been realized already. And I will also add this ... why did I bring this up again? Because BBs get away with every single request / moan / cry there is. The amount of BUFFs they got is just ridiculous. Why cant we also express our "demands"?

Very nicely said. BBs get BUFFS and TOOLS with every patch, while the rest of the classes exists only as their targets. I am only waiting for the day when they have it all (smoke, hydro, radar, plane, heal, torps, secondaries, AA, .... aaaand main gun reload booster consumable). Even with all this they would still demand more powa. I should not write this, because with the RN BBs release coming in close, WG might get some "good" idea out of this ...

Good call! +++ Well as a primarily a DD player, there are many games where I get HUGE damage from a BB AP salvo (the piiiiiii citadel sound comes along with it). Now please do not comment on how I should play (you should play like that, like this, show broadside to avoid pens etc, etc) because I know how I should play the DD. There is just that a good BB AP salvo drains almost ALL of your health. And that should not be happening. Multiple reasons and only one of them is that BBs should not be "all mighty" capable of deleting cruisers, dds and any bottom tier opponent literally. This is one of the reasons why we are seeing this huge BB overpopulation in the game. And sadly WG even encourages it ... because BBS sell ... simple as that. I dont see any reason why penetrations from AP shells should not be COMPLETELY REMOVED whem BB fires on DD. They have secondaries that can protect them, some even have torps, PLUS OVER PENETRATION with a full salvo does good damage on DDs !!. Must everything with BB play be so freaking damn easy (lazy)? NO. Camon, when I play BBs .. im not even afraid of DDs anymore. I just focus them with AP and laugh when they try to run but I nail them with one (one!) good salvo.

Every game in my DDs IT IS EXPECTED FROM ME, to go for the caps (objectives), since 2/3 of the game modes are domination. Even if I am in RU DD (and supposedly the MM forces me to go for caps in domination) I must go for caps. There are MANY MANY times, that my team does not support me even tho, I ask for support and they all go "affirmative, roger that" (in many cases our CV!) and so I die fighting for the caps. Yes, that happens often ... and I sometimes I abandon the cap barely alive or even die trying to run away, since the enemy is way more coordinated and actually supports their DDs (something that always is a priority for me when in CL or gunboat). So does that make me a noob? Perhaps ... perhaps I am over aggressive in my DDs ... but I do play the objectives. While the majority of BBs do nothing the entire game. They usually are the last players alive (preferably with full health at max range) and they finish the game running to the border (and surviving). So saying that average DD player is as much potato as an average BB player is far .. far from the actual truth. Because DDs have much harder time playing this game that BBs do.

Its just like listening to my kid complaining :) he knows but yet, he still complains ;)

this is what I have been talking about in one of my posts not so long ago titled "WG Shifting meta the hard way". I was talking about this kind of missions, that hard shift the meta end disrupts the entire gameplay for certain period of time (weekend / week / month). Whit this mission there wont be any French cruisers in the game for the duration of this mission and consequently less cruisers and more battleships...
