For a person who buys lots of premiums ... only a few. I have at least 1 premium ship of each class (except CVs), so no need to keep any of the silver ships for any other reason than for collection or personal. The only silver ships I kept are St.Louis at T3 (only to keep one T3 ship, plus it has that Igor camo), and Clemson at T4 (for obvious reasons). BTW ... what happened to patches (dog tags)? Did the image quit?

Exactly! Plus I will be able to finally grind my T9 ships with a nice fresh breeze. Being one of those that dislike ranked, this finally could bring some "joy" playing the mode. But .... the cpt. skill reset worries me .... I feel I wont be able to respec with ease this time, since lots of the rework is still unknown or still "hangs in the air".

Just watching the new skill tree ... half of the skills look like they are catering CVs. Man oh man ... I have no Idea what I will do with it. Probably just set all my commanders to 0 then wait couple of weeks so things clear out. Even that i will need a day off from work to respec all commanders.

Guess it reflects the bulk of player base in the game quiet accurate.

While you guys make fun of him, I hope WG realizes that MM is (still) the fundamental problem that never was addressed (and many many more) why people are leaving this game. Lets be honest here ... we all have moments, where we want to write such a post. He did not rage ... I give him props for that, yet when I read the post I also see myself in it.

No I think you really can not, can you :) I guess testing premiums would effect the sales in negative way? :D Would you believe me if I told you that I never ever was on PTS? I hardly find the time (and will) to play live :) Anyway ... If I try to get back to the original question -> OP. My Benson was B hull / Torpedo build (for the Fletcher and now the cpt. is on Gearing). I only grinded the Benson, because I hated her for the slow torpedoes speed. Unless you are in love with the ship for some reason, you will want to grind her as quickly as possible to get the Fletcher.

Ive seen Notsers vid from the other perspective. Hopefully this gets "fixed" before its going live.

A bit off topic, but still related to conversation. Has anyone tested full AA Kidd with the new CVs?

Yes, that is obvious, but kinda irrelevant to what I stated ;) stealth torping with planes just should never make it out. Even if "only possible but hard to execute".

So yet another realistic aspect of WW2 magic. Not that this is realism game ... but werent the jap areal torpedoes max range at somewhere around 2 km at the time?

Just a little question ma brotrers in arms :) Is it true that above all of the above insanity the IJN CV torp bombers get something like 8km torps and actually can stealth torp now without being detected ?

Oh the power of RNG MM :) Some people do not get lucky with favorable MM (me included) :)

Dont forget to add that Musashi will be one of the most desired ships to hit in the 0.8 by all the CV players :) If you have the Yamato ... I see no extra value in Musashi ... especially in the "upcoming meta".

First of all ... I am not an elite player. I tend to think I know the basics well and I do understand the team play so my buddies can rely on me. But last week or so the game is unplayable for me even in divisions.... we are no longer talking about tactics on TS ... we are only crying about either how people throw the game away or how bad the enemy team is. I mean sure, its been bad like since ever, but this is just unplayable now. Especially the CV players. WG now ... I dont know what you promised people in order they play them, but this is just brutal. And double CV games at T7? There are games where I only get into position to fight and 3-4 friendlies already died. There are games where enemy CV has murdered 2 of our DDs already, while our CV gets into the corner (so I can barely see him) and is sending all his planes up the left or right border trying to strike the enemy CV (and usually failing), not spotting, not doing anything. I mean we used to make fun of BB players camping in the back, but recently the game is hosting incredibly bad people. Yesterday in ranked I killed 4 ships, got accused of being a cheater (that is always a nice compliment for me), got insulted .... yet our team still threw the game. Where is the fun in that? And the wins I have are like people described above ... total stomp. Where are the exciting games? Games where you fight till the last breath, games that I signed up for this game in the first place? Long gone. I wish WG told bad players that they are bad. Maybe they never seen their own stats and are thinking that they are doing all rite. Just tell them ... like "you suck in cv. Go play something else" message. Maybe getting that from you WG will make some difference regarding their game play. When the 0.8 comes .... I will stop playing for a while, because I sense all sh*storm will break loose. Could I pause my premium time? Since it wont be my fault and all ;)
