I am not sure. I think it also has something todo with the CV rework not being accepted well. I think they had multiple brainstorming sessions and they are going a bit crazy here.... I will just take one step back and observe the situation.

I think its pretty safe to close the thread. It is perfectly clear how the community feels about it. As for the WG .... I am afraid they are too stubborn to accept when something gets rejected by the community and ultimately they force their decision simply because they have put X amount of effort into it.

I respect that, but unfortunately that also means that you have to keep a broom close by :)

Thanx, I checked yesterday and there wasn't one ... did not check today TBH. But yeah ... I don't expect people to actually check it either ... most come here "hotheaded" and they just press "Start new topic" button without even checking the first page....

Create a pinned thread linked to DEV blog thread. 99% of people hang in here .... you know that.... but even that wont stop people from making new threads in "Game play" section.

I think its pretty clear. NOBODY WANTS THIS. At least in the form they are proposing. Making people who play more having upgraded ship and with that an advantage over others is plain stupid. Currently I am still waiting for the CV rework to fix itself..... The moment this hits the server I am packing my crap for good.

I understand completely. WG wants to keep non T10 tiers populated, because they are already decreasing in population. If they don't start thinking in this direction most players will keep T10 ships and premiums. How will I play my Kamikaze in lets say 2 years from now? Against bots? BUT... this requires a lot of thinking. The rewards must not make a big edge over other lower level players. The reward imo should be permanent camo, steel or any other resource one can spend in the armory. If not... the MM will break even more... and majority of players will just quit the game.

Luckily this is still in development. MM is gonna need some hefty rework.

I predicted (proposed) this a while ago. Only way to keep the game alive in long term. Otherwise we would have only T10 and premium ships.

Wish I could confirm, but im not playing. The update broke mini-map mod and I cant stand vanilla.

Thats harsh ... to say at least. Gotta object here ... MrConway is a nice guy. Along with Crysantos and Tuccy they do a lot of work catering the community. It is not him that decides what goes into the patch nor is he developing the game. If the Bug did not make it in the HF, then other issues gotten higher priority ... especially since this bug is not a blocker ... OR ... its really really difficult to fix ;) This is the comment from the .NET code I got from a developer working on this, just to make you understand that news button is some serious business.
