An Idea For A Certain Submarine...

(This Is More Of Me Rambling, So Keep That In Mind While Reading) So After Living Under A Rock For Some Time, I Saw That Wargaming Was (Maybe) Going To Slowly But Surely Introduce Submarines Into World Of Warships Through The Halloween Event This Year! Depending On If They DO Introduce Submarines, It Got Me Thinking About Some Of The Submarines They Could Implement Into The Game. While Some May Be Thinking About Famous Submarines Like The U-96, The Famous German Type VIIC U-Boat (Also Known For The Movie Das Boot) Or Perhaps The French Submarine Surcouf, I Have My Ideas Else Where. You See, There Is A Certain Submarine Of The American Balao Class That Takes The Cake For Me. This Submarine Is The USS Sealion II. Although This Submarine May Not Have A Rich, Action-Packed History Like Other Submarines, There Is One Event That Sticks Out In It's Service. On The Night Of November 21st, 1944, The Uss Sealion II Intercepted A Task Force Consisting Of The Japanese Destroyers Hamakaze, Isokaze, Urakaze, Yukikaze, Kiri, and Ume, The Cruiser Yahagi, And The Battleships Yamato, Nagato, And Kongo. During The First Attack, The Uss Sealion II Managed To Sink The Urakaze, But After A Couple Of Hours, Also Managed To Track Down And Sink The Kongo, Whom Had Broken Off From The Task Force After Sustaining 3 Torpedo Hits During The Sealion II's First Attack. Upon Kongo's Sinking, It Would Make Her The Only Japanese Battleship Sunk By A Submarine In WWII, And The Last One Sunk By Submarine In History. On A Side Note, The Uss Sealion II Is The ONLY Submarine thought have the ONLY surviving sound recordings of World War II submarine attacks, Which Can Still Be Listened To Today I Know It Was Only One Event, But I Personally Think This Is What Makes Me Want The Ship (Or Maybe Just The Balao Class In Itself, Once Again Depending If Player Feedback Is Positive During The Halloween Event) So Much. The Fact This Submarine Got The Chance Of A Lifetime, And Managed To Not Only Sink A Destroyer, But A BATTLESHIP?! (Something Carriers Were More Likely To Do During The Pacific War, As Was The Case With The IJN Hiei, Who Was Sunk By Bombers From The USS Enterprise Following The First Naval Battle Of Guadalcanal In 1942 (The IJN Kirishima Was Also Sunk In 1942, But Was Sunk By The North Carolina Class Battleship USS Washington During The Second Naval Battle Of Guadalcanal), And The IJN Haruna Was Sunk By Task Force 38 In 1945 During An Air Raid In Kure) That's Quite An Achievement If You Ask Me. So, What Do You Think? I Know This Might Have Been A Bit Silly Of Me To Do, (Considering That Submarines Haven't Been Implemented Yet) I Wanted To Share An Idea Of A Ship I Would Like To See In The Game (If Player Feedback Is Positive After The Event And They Go Though With Adding Submarines). And While On The Topic, What Submarines Would YOU Like To See? Feel Free To Share Your Thoughts If You'd Like!

    Curb your submarines

Ah, ok then. I guess I should explain my reasoning as to why I want the Uss Sealion II, While The Sealion II didn't have a completely action packed Service, there is one point in its service that sticks out. "On The Night Of November 21st, 1944, The Uss Sealion II Intercepted A Task Force Consisting Of The Japanese Destroyers Hamakaze, Isokaze, Urakaze, Yukikaze, Kiri, and Ume, The Cruiser Yahagi, And The Battleships Yamato, Nagato, And Kongo. During This Attack, The Uss Sealion II Managed To Sink The Urakaze, But After A Couple Of Hours, Also Managed To Track Down And Sink The Kongo, Whom Had Broken Off From The Task Force After Sustaining 3 Torpedo Hits During The Sealion II's First Attack. Upon Kongo's Sinking, She Was The Only Japanese Battleship Sunk By A Submarine In WWII, And The Last One Sunk By Submarine In History." On A Side Note, The Uss Sealion II Is The Only Submarine To Audio Record An Attack On An Enemy In WWII, Which Can Still Be Listened To Today So Thats Why I Would Like to See The Uss Sealion II

    Curb your submarines

Ah, I see. That would be interesting to see. The Only Reason I would like to see the Sealion II is due to its history, particularly the night of November 21st, 1944...

If I remember correct, that's the Carrier-like submarine right?

Missouri: What targets earns me more credits???

Ahh, I think I'm starting to get what your saying :)
  7. USSARIZONA_2015

Missouri: What targets earns me more credits???

Hm, so basically, its easier to sink a shima and get the credits that way, than to sink a Montana and take longer to do so? (I feel dumb not understanding this :( )

Missouri: What targets earns me more credits???

So, for example, if I sink a shimakaze, rather than a Montana, I would earn a higher payout?
  9. Hey there everyone, So I'm in the process of grinding for credits in the Missouri, but there was a forum post on the NA sever, where someone said that if you go after DDs and a couple of cruisers, you'd make a higher amount of credits than if you were going after Battleships, due to the way the reward systems work. Is this true? I know that Missouri has the tools to hunt destroyers, but does it really pay off? and if it isn't true, what targets DO make your more credits? Missouri does NOT make 1,000,000 credits per game: This was the title of the post Until Next post, USSARIZONA_2015
  10. Hey There Fellas, Before any of you ask why I'm asking this, I am currently writing a story, and I am stuck at a problem. since Normal Ships cannot harm arpeggio Ships without using a vibration warhead, I was going to implement the Imperial I Class Star Destroyer as a way of countering the Fleet of fog, but would It work? can a Star Destroyer's weapons Break through an Arpeggio ships force field, or a "Klein Field" ? Or maybe better stated, Can a Star Destroyers Tech overcome Arpeggio Tech? Thanks for any Info! Until Next Post, USSARIZONA_2015 PS, I'm an Idiot for asking this :S
  11. Hey there fellas, So I was on YouTube a while ago and I saw that The Uss Salt lake City was going to be Tier 6, where the Pensacola was going to be moved to. ( This also applies to some of the other Cruisers, like the Baltimore, but I forgot what it was renamed to) Does this mean they are renaming some ships? Or are these totally different ships??? -USSARIZONA_2015

    How To Play American Battleships?

hey there Fellas, So I know this might have already been answered years and Years ago, but i wanted to ask for myself... How do I play American Battleships in today's meta and the meta to come? such as how to support your fleet in the right way, or when is the right time to push, or when it isn't the right time to push, or when to tank and how to do it properly, or what tier is good for practicing US BBs. I will be upfront and say that I'm aggressive when it comes to playing American Battleships, mostly because I don't want to be known as a camper, but I end up usually sinking in the end because of how I push, and its led me to ask, what am I doing wrong? I appreciate any advice given! Until Next Post, USSARIZONA_2015

How to Play The New Essex?

Hello there fellas, A couple weeks ago I posted a topic asking people on how to outplay the IJN Taiho in a Stock Essex, But with the Arrival of the USN Cv changes, Its time I ask the Question on how to play the "New" Essex. At the time of posting this, This is how my Essex is Decked out with, Hull: A (Stock Hull) Fighters: Vought F4U-1 (Tier VIII) Torpedo Bombers: Grumman TBM-3 (Tier VIII) Dive Bombers: Douglas BTD-1 (AP Bombers) (Tier IX) Consumables: Premium Damage Control Party II and Defensive AA Fire II Upgrades: Slot-1: Air Groups Modification I Slot-2: Damage Control System Modification I Slot-3: Air Groups Modification II ( For keeping my fighters alive) Slot-4: Steering Gears Modification III (To Avoid Air Strikes and Torpedoes) Slot-5: Air Groups Modification III (For Keeping my strike package from dying faster) Slot-6: Concealment System Modification I Captain Skills: First Row: Aircraft Servicing Expert and Dogfighting Expert Second Row: Torpedo Acceleration Third Row: Torpedo Armament Expertise Fourth Row: Air Supremacy (This is a MUST have skill, no questions asked in my opinion.) (Side Note: I don't have any skills geared towards AA, so its basically stock AA) So, is this a good Build? or is there something I'm doing wrong? I was thinking about switching Air Groups Mod II with Flight Control I (But to be honest, I don't mind the waiting time of re-arming your planes, as it allows me to think of my next plans of action.) and Air Groups Mod III with Flight Control Mod II, just Because I think the Fighters are TOO SLOW (It can't catch ANY of Taiho's Aircraft if they are on the run.) But I'm thinking that Air Groups Mod III is Crucial for your Torpedo Bombers, since they already go down like the Berlin Wall. Also, In my opinion, I also think the AP bombs are quite nice, but I also would like to know what you prefer, HE or AP? I Appreciate any Opinions, Tactics, or Advice that will help me become a better Carrier Captain :) . Until Next Post, -USSARIZONA_2015

    Atlanta or Midway?

I Already have the Texas, and while its true I have the Atago, I also Have the Murmansk, Cleveland (I used to have Pensacola, but sold it to wait for the split.), the Indianapolis, and The ARP cruisers, which makes me wonder why you said starting my Cruiser career. (no offense I hope!) Also, I really don't want another BB, as most of my port is filled with them.
