I had the same prob....First of all, dont use the mod ''Fog Remover'' . And in setting you must put the '' Effects Preset '' or '' Effects Quality '' (dont remember) to high.

Im aswering in that.... Im sure i know far more things for pc's and maintain a system than you. But i have FPS drop and craches in that idiot game client. And you know why this happend in many players.? Cause employees in WG, cant do their job right, cant do even one update correct, they cant do anything.

im on second on that you say.....i give up...no point to send WGchecks, i had a ticket open 6-7 days with that bug of the FPS drop, and i close it, no solution... Im boring this game every update...3-4 more updates with so much break things, and i will unistall it.....every update they destroy everything.

why the ffffffff every update you destroy our gameplay, you destroy our mods, you destroy everything, whyyyyyyyy???? i will never say to a friend to play this game, and if ask me why, i will tell him that devs cant do even one update correct.

The issue is not fixed. Many players have that problem. I have an open ticket 5-6 days....Now hear and a joke...i send them the WGckeck report file, i told them that i run the game at 125 FPS in random, and 144 FPS in space mode, and the Fps drop to 24.....and they tell me to send them screenshots with the FPS, because they tell that i cant run the game at that fps with that config in preference settings...of course i send the screens....And now, how i expect to fix the problem, when they look the WGcheck file, and they see what a beast pc i have, and tell that i cant run the game at 125 FPS....how cant i expect to fix the problem those guys ?!?! You know, every update since 0.6.0, they broke something......

Same here....FPS drop, and the only solution for me is to minimize the client for 1-2 seconds and bring it up...and next battle same again....the strange think is that in Space battle mode i got 144 fps stable

There not only us....WG have 25-30k players online, you want to send all tickets? The easy way is to fix the game as they broke it after 0.6.0- 0.7.0 updates. I notice something about FPS problem. OK...i start the game, enter in battle, after 2-3 mins start that huge FPS drop (i notice when first enemys spoted start and drop), from 120-130 fps i drop to 30-40,.... and what i do, i minimize the client in task bar (i play in windowed), and bring it back, result -> Not FPS drop again. Then i enter to play 3 battles, no fps problem, maybe a little. After that, i wanted to check it again, so i close the game, i open it and i enter in battle. Again after 2-3 mins Fps droped, and i do the same (minimize the client-bring back).....Fps drop stop again and i play normal 3 battles more. I do that 3 times and happend the same thing. Maybe someone try this and confirm if happend and to him. I dont know if this is a problem from Nvidia or from WG. I use the latest Nvidia driver 391.24, and when i search in google i find the Fixed issues in that update of driver. Fixed issues: HTC Vive or Oculus Rift stops working after several launches of the application or after resume from system Hibernate mode. NVIDIA Freestyle not enabled for supported games. When launching a video in Media Player Classic, the system stutters momentarily. Alt-tabbing windowed games with G-SYNC enabled and V-Sync ON in-game causes stuttering and drop in frame rate. Driver TDR error may occur when using Firefox. Blue-screen crash may occur when installing the driver on a Surface laptop. The display flickers continuously after disabling and enabling a Volta-based GPU using Device Manager, or when rebooting the system. Flickering/corruption occurs when opening Rise of the Tomb Raider’s in-game options UI with a GTX 1060. I think the Nvidia fix ''Alt-tabbing windowed games with G-SYNC enabled and V-Sync ON in-game causes stuttering and drop in frame rate.'' , is not fixed, or that causes problem or conflict with the game.

This make things worse, now i have fps drop and in port.....

Same here...every update and then the patch, WG prove that cant do good job. After update, the ships and the text on minimap was to big, now after the patch is tooooo small.... good job WG

Huh....an update again....pfffffff, like every time, mess up everything. Hey MrConway i tell it 1000 times, the boss of WG must find good employees to do the updates, that team now they cant, every update destroy our play...

ok, i find another way to fix it...i assign the RMB to caps lock(or what else you want), i open the preference file and search for ART_CAMERA, there are 3-4 lines with that, i found the line of ART_CAMERA that have the CapsLock, and change it manual to RMB and works....dont know if tomorrow when i open the game is still working.... This is how looks the line that i change Thanks for help Odo. Send an email to WG to hire you, im sure you are better than that people who work there...

well, your settings as i read, is different .... i use RMB to zoom and snipe, Free lock i dont use it much and i have it to Lshift...my point is, left hand move-turn the ship, right hand RMB to zoom-snipe LMB to shoot...

Thanks for that, but is a little confused, and i dont want to mess up with unpacker and such things.... and is not our job to fix the things that usless people broke every update,They dont do their jod right, they are USLESSS.
