Captain Skills: PM, LS, SE, CE, AR, BFT, RPF Modules: Legendary + gun reload Speed boost instead of DefAA. With this setup 5.6 surface detectability range and 2.7s gun reload. Long range torps. I play it like a dd hunter.

1) That might be a cool idea 2)View youtube videos about how to torp. Learn by heart where the prediction line will turn if the enemy goes one or the other way.Then start predicting based on your minimap.Your main damage comes from predicting where enemy bbs will turn to get safe. 3)Figure out how to bait radars while playing at their max range.Let em waste it and go back in to keep em spotted.Lines like " Please focus x radar cause i cant cap or get closer" works very nice most of the times. Oh, and start the match with a line " Trb Kagero goes to x cap. Please support cause i cant cap alone"

Pretty much yeah. The guy who threw the game in favor of his mates on the enemy team will get banned for some time and they wont do anything for the justified teamkill. The system took care of the intentional team kill.Thats what they always claim and do. That kind of behaviour should not be allowed or tolerated.

So far, i am not. That being said let me tell you a story: I have this rl friend who plays the game. 44% wr 30k Avg dmg on t8 bb 400 pr 20% hr. 1k battles. This guys plays ONLY ranked now because its awasome to grind xp. free xp, flags and steel. He doesnt give a fak about ranking, he cant speak english, he wont communicate and sh1t like that. The problem with that kind of players comes from them not communicating. Yesterday i had a team which literally did the exact opposite of what instructions i called. 6 of them were out of position all the time getting into crossfires, not being able not only to support caps but even to shoot anything at all. Had to compensate for their freaking mistakes all the time. Ended up taking out 2 enemy dds solo, 4 caps (twice each cap) and in the end because it was the only play i had to make to not loose the match i had to torp rush 2 enemy bbs. Still they almost lost after 2nd bb blapped me. Chat went live only on the last 30seconds to congratulate themselves for this perfect win and i got a minus 3 karma cause i kept calling out their bad positions in a polite manner. Castration, sterilization and castration again is the only proper reward for that kind of players.

Fix your crap wg. 1)Remove ALL irevocable ranks. 2)Give all rewards at once at ranks 5 and 1. Ranked should not be a free reward festival but an actual competitive game mode for people who want to C O M P E T E. Every brainless crap joins ranked for the rewards.

PM LS SE* CE IFHE is the base of this line. SE is a must for all dds.ALWAYS. After these take AR and last choose between DE,SI or BFT(-10% reload right?Cause i always forget the name :P) Alternativily you can try out flamus build for harugumo where he goes full gun build and as Riselotte said he skips CE. I would recomend the first build with DE or BFT.I still havent decided what i ll use on my last 3 points on the akizuki.

Z 52. I edited previous post. This is a priority target list from a dd perspective. So the other non radar cruisers are not much of a danger for the dds unless they push caps -

Havent read the thread. I am a main dd cap. I play only benson. Currently rank 16 although i started 2day. In ranked, points win games. If you got the caps, secure a difference that will allow you to lose a ship or two and go defensive. ALWAYS support your dds. Harugumo - Z 52 - YueYang - Wooster - Radar Mino - Des Moine - Moskva - Gearing - Shima i think is the proper priority target list. 1st is most important, last is least.They are all dangerous. Assess current situation and pick target. Most importantly, communicate with your team. Call or request focus fire. Call enemy DCP. Get match making monitor (can be obtained solo or from aslain modpack). Check which bbs in your team have good stats (xp > else) and shadow them if you can. Dont be afraid to ask for instructions. If you call something, and som1 else calls something else, go with whoever typed an instruction first. -

I have been several times in games where we have 2 full divisions in opposite teams and we NEVER EVER shared information.And we are always on same comms crap talking each other while fighting over objectives. We all play to win not to help enemies win. -
First of all, i played the Fubuki and Kagero before the ijn dd line split. With smoke. I currently play trb yugumo, akizuki, benson, Gearing with fletcher torps. 1)You dont need to be defensive per se, but you have to be way more cautious. At the start of the match do this: -Check for cvs -Check how many radars -Keep an eye out for potential radars (like PA dds, Minotaurs etc) -Check Ranks.People at ranks 5 to 1 can be dangerous.Note their ships. -Check divisions.Where is one of them, the rest will probably be close. I tried to write a fast survival "guide" but i am too tired to even properly think atm. Will do it on sunday if no1 has done it untill then. Check out previous radar threads.There have been multiple excellent opinions on how to counter them or work around them or even bait them. Memorize the ranges and play at that range until you are confident. When they pop radar, check top right for the time and leave.When its about to end turn back in.You have 2 minutes window. DDs (PA t8-10 & Black) 7,5km 15-25sec Atlanta 8.5 25 Salem -//- Belfast -//- Indianapolis 9.9 20 (you can literally gun the fak out of him in straight 1v1 in any gunboat in sub 7km) Cruisers Tier8 9 30 Cruisers Tier10 9.9 40 Russian Cruisers 11.7 20-25 Missuri Always forget and ask on team chat Missuri 9.45 Ask the team Matches with Cv and more than 2 radars and even hydro dds are cancerous. You need to find your own way and method of spotting, surviving, contesting, pushing out enemies and being useful to the team. 2)fak yea. Cause if it aint hard, i wont bother. Edit: The Radar Range Values are intentionally not aligned properly just to mess with your ocd people. Have fun!

You have 5.6km concealement. His hydro is 3.5km. He is slower. He probably gave signs of his presense before catching you with pants down: -Smokes in the sea -Last known position on minimap -Torps coming from certain direction. He is slower and cant actively hunt you. If you die to daring it is your fault mate. -

Mate, really? If you are getting caught at 3 or 4 km distances then its you not the enemy ship. The hydro you complain about is 3,5km. You would already be visible in that distance. If you drop smoke and get hydroed, well again its on you.You are overextended. As for the guns, in 1v1s you can win every fight at 6.5km+ distances while kiting away. I am not defending the usn dd line, which i dont like because its too passive and slow for my taste,but damn mate. For Darings to roflstomp you, they need first to spot you. -
-Get spotted briefly so every1 knows an akizuki is against them. -Have som1 else spot for you -Shoot 3 salvos to each ship in range and change targets.Repeat indefinitely. -Most people will assume they are getting focused by you and head for cover. This should NOT work. But it works most of the time because people are crap and minimap is just for decoration.

Judging from akizuki only: This is an overpowered line. -You can safelly stay out of radar range and still have 2.5-3.5km buffer range to shoot the radar cruiser. -The arcs are awasome to land shells behind islands -Excellent ambushers and dd killers. Bad dd hunters. -Essentially better woosters with smoke and no citadel. -Can take on 1v1 almost every cruiser out there and come out alive. Assuming you choose the engagement position. -Indirect cap contester. Get close,angle out. Wait for enemies to approach. Smoke up, push back radars, gift fires to every1. When they start turning back and your fleet comes closer get in and grab the cap. -When som1 else is spotting for you, you can literally hold a flank of 8 ships on your own. -Can even gun boat in the open vs not-wooster-like cruisers at 10-12km range.Mostly to force dcp use for your fleet to exploit. No other ship in the game can do all that and survive to brag about it. The cons of low speed and crap maneuverability dont matter at all. Play it like a cruiser and exploit islands and you will be fine. Unless it gets nerfed, this was a much needed dd line. Edit: Triple post for emphasis! (Could a mod please delete the 2 extra posts?)

So far it was fine to have cruisers with 40sec 10km radar at 9km concealment and be able to roflstomp dds but its not ok when dds can finally fight back? Since teams are full of idiots who not cant understand the priority of targets in relation to game objectives,team lineups and current battle situation, giving the means tot he dds to solve the problem AGAIN themselves is abso-freakin-lutely GREAT. Edit, rage rant pt2: -Did you wanna stay safe behind that island and rain hell towards enemies? Well akizuki,kitakaze and harugumo are here mate.You are not safe there cause they can do the same now.It doesnt feel good, does it? -Did you wanna hydro rush me in the smoke? Sure, but you are going down with me champ. -Did you wanna make a fast turn now that the enemy bb already shot at you? Kewl! I ll grab 4-8k hp while you turn and another 10k while you run away setting you on fire multiple times. DOES IT FEEL GOOD? -Oh, you caught me without smoke and want to use all your guns? Sure thing! Thanks for the 11 citadels.

Not completely remove the ui but just remove the icons above ships while on the sea. Mount each side a different flag so ppl have to actually pay attention ;D
