Well I see your point in all your writing. Bad Players like me don't get better by using this mod packs. And the "Aim Assist" so many referring too is already within the Game. The others, me too, just learning a bit from the wisdom's that the you tuber like Flamuu and Business6 try to tell us to improve our game playing. What the game is still missing IMHO are the different Flags for other nations. I don't talk about Swastika, you know, but about the Imperial German Flag, or the right approach toward color schemes that have been actual used by ships of this time as Tanz provides many. The WG Mod pack provides me with better visible projectiles, a better readable Compass, better looking achievements as they shine brighter. That's all. No Aim Assist or help to shoot straight. No visible maker for hidden ships, no ability to Radar your shots into others, nothing. What other mod makers provide I really don't care. I used a few and finally was made aware of this here. And I intend to stick with it. Adding more COLOR to the game. My 2 ct Cheers

Well I see your point. But still the argument has no real background towards the behavior of HE Shelling in WoWs. You CANT actually BURN a ship that has no SS at all. No kind of fuel or other stuff that was able to catch fire was stored above the Amoured Deck Level. It is only a "game mechanic" in WoWs At Tsushima the Russian Ships that burned did this because of (source https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Tsushima) : The Japanese fleets had practised gunnery regularly since the beginning of the war, using sub calibre adapters in their guns and gaining more experience than the Russians. The Japanese also used mostly high-explosive shells with shimose (melinite), which was designed to explode on contact and wreck the upper structures of ships. The Russians used armour-piercing rounds with small guncotton bursting charges and unreliable fuses.Japanese hits caused more damage to Russian ships relative to Russian hits on Japanese ships, setting the superstructures, the paintwork and the large quantities of coal stored on the decks on fire.

HE spammers are no real challenge as those who like that crapdo not care about the historical absence of burning ships to death. To Cpt_Cowper_Coles I agree with you that the König Albert CAN carry a game.

I wonder how many of those drawings and design studies actually originated after the war from drawings like this Pictuer in its original size here http://dreadnoughtproject.org/plans/SM_Studienentwurf/Schnelle_GrosseKampfschiffe_4541_100dpi.jpg

Well in some way the Germans following the "old" ways for naming their current ships after Imperial German Navy Ships. Only difference is that they use the names of german Provinces as they did earlier. There is a Sachsen-Class, a Brandenburg-Class, but also 3 older destroyers built in the USA named "Lütjens", "Mölders" and "Rommel". I also cant see a real reason for not using the names of those GHF Ships again.

IMHO it is exact this point that makes the difference between Historians and "Fun-Play-Gamers": The Historian accepts the difference between the historical acurate ships and leads it into the furnace of steel and fire against all odds while the FPG's allways whines and complains because of its OPness.

Just make yourself an Account on NA or EU, download the game client a second time, name them EU and NA for easier recognition and on you go. I have on the EU my Account but on the NA as well. I just use two differnt names and E-Mail Adresses NA: http://worldofwarships.com/en/community/accounts/1020702838-Reinhard_Scheer/!/pvp/overview/ EU: http://worldofwarships.eu/en/community/accounts/532269488-Vizeadmiral_R_Scheer/!/pvp/overview/ -
Would this be not a nice addition to the German Cruiser Line, as Premium Ship may be? As a Counterpart to the St. Louis? Emden and Scharnhorst together again.

About Coal...AFAIK Coal Dust is a very explosive material and Coal dust explosions have been the reason for changing the kind of power that has driven certain Train Engines that crossed the USA. Coal Bunkers were alocated around vital parts of the Ships to give them additional protection. A Method later used by the Italians in their sole CV "Aquila" just replacing Coal by Concrete. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_aircraft_carrier_Aquila

Me neither...and by reading the many detailed notes on the following drawing I see where the error in my assumption lays Here the link to see the enlarged view of the picture http://dreadnoughtproject.org/plans/SM_Friedrich_der_Grosse_1912/obere_ansicht_100dpi.jpg The drawing shows all three boats have positons on top of the turrets even those that I assumed to be hanging on the hoists.

First of all - I am waiting too for the KÖNIG ALBERT. NA did it release in exchange with the current on sale Murmansk and Blyskawica. But it was also availble from the Techtree in game for 2200 Doublons. To the placment of the lifeboats...The provided photograph of the Kaiser-Class ship seems to be a after 1916 picture which shows to things: The 3 Cutters and Steamboats have their original place between/behind the B and E Turret while both have allready visible prepared restingplaces on the Turrets. IMO the pictures shows the "cruising" position of the boats. When in "battle" position two boats are hoisted on top of those turrets while the largest innermost boat is lifted above the turrets so they can traverse freely beneath the hanging boats. Here is a drawing of the "FRIEDRICH DER GROSSE" that supports my opinion: For those who like to see the oroginal sized picture http://dreadnoughtproject.org/plans/SM_Friedrich_der_Grosse_1912/langsschnitt_100dpi.jpg

Yep, but not for Europeans to use. Not yet at least The ship is not in the current Tech tree as for the NA. The Hell knows why
-
I bought her with my NA Account, 2.200 Doublons within the game from the Techtree. I love this ship allready!

As much as I apreciate the work you have done sofar I would suggest to wait with further "construction" attempts for the release of the König Albert which gets allready announced on the NA Server to be in patch 0.5.11. It will probably provide you you with a "cleaner" model without missing guns and all that floating stuff
-
Yesterday I noticed the odd appearence of the Tirpitz while in the Harbour, I dont know how when this happened but I believe it came with one of the last patches. Could you please fix this? I read that the NA Server had the same issue and patched it rescently

The Kaiser Klasse has been able to traverse her Flank turrets to shoot accross the Deck and give the ship a full broadside ability of 10 Guns. The experience the German made with this configuration however showed them that those flank turrets put to much strain on the ships hull so did not use this abilty. The link shows the travers ability of those turrets 182° to 355° http://dreadnoughtproject.org/plans/SM_Friedrich_der_Grosse_1912/oberdeck_100dpi.jpg
