To me it's the final nail in the coffin... milking the playerbase, even scamming them while the quality of the game is gone for good due to powercreep and ridiculously broken crap (FDR!)... most of the players in randoms nowadays seemingly ignore the "thinking"-part in this "thinking man's action game"... i tried my best to have fun for the last almost 2 years since the cv-rework but the game/WG-money-making-machine that it is right now is far from being an enjoyable experience anymore. Despite many people in the community trying to make WG aware of the issues that were showing up WG decided to take a dump on all efforts to improve the game with constructive input and feedback and just went on stacking up more and more crap. Thx WG for making it easier to me to finally leave the game. o/
