Benson 160k damage did okaish

At higher tiers i notice people who behaive like t5 players and why:they keep sailing like demons from tier to tier.A guys in a fletcher keeped calling me a cheater for messing him up.What i found:he reached at t9 playing less than 50 games with the ships from the previous tier.I cant still manage the fully control the benson at 200 games

My moneymaker is the benson.Dont know why but i always get decent profits with that ship

Is quite simple you calculate the amount of time you have your smokescreen up ,and decrease 20 sec from that period if you are planning to shoot from smoke since is the 20 sec range debuff.You should be fine.

The most i lost with benson was 30000 for being a n00b and took a friendly torp in rest an average of 100000+credits per battle

it depens most of the times with offensive smoke when i engage 2 -3 ships they tend to fall back.And i always plan my course to be sure i dont get caught with more than 1-2 ships i can handle.With premium smoke i still manage to have decent profits in t8.

My sweet spot for usn dds is at t8 the benson.Its fast ,has low detection with all the uprades and captain points(5,9km),fantastic guns and okaish torps.Every time a meet a fubuki or kagero its pretty much game over for them.5 6 salvos and they are dead meat

I tought the same for the usn tech tree until i understand the potential of usn dds.For me past t6 are usn dds are a pain in the a** if you play them properly.My style:demolition expert+premium smoke and i rain fire on everything.Since i use these tactics my win rate got past 50% and i realize that i suck with bbs ,cruisers but i can do i pretty good game with us dds.As a us dds ofensive smoke is your best friend.For example benson game 60k fire damage

Its only me or the fletcher is a stupid ship,with shell arcs higher that the benson?

Hello guys i have a big problem:I dont know what captain skill 4 point i should chose for benson.I usualy play agressive and i rarely lose the rudder on the dd. Thank you!

Yup demolition expert does the trick for me.Now i have a average of 15000 damage only in fire since the previous 1000-2000

thanks guys i went with demo since i rarely get my rudder destroyed and its much better now i can set fires more often than before and spam bb's ))
