It is not that you can get a few good games in it, the thing is can you do it consistently and with a higher degree of a probability than other ships both premium and silver. It is anecdotal. If you can perform in this ship you can do it in others. Is she better than Perth, De Grasse, Duca? Budyonny, Cleveland? For me she is a T5 ship blown up to T6, if she was a T5 I might have considered her.

True , I use AR a lot not as first 2p skill, but later. On DDs I use it as an cheaper alternative to Torp reload. Many times on higher tiers you got hit but 1 torp and survives. And on ships like Akizuki or US DDs it helps your gun DPM also. I have it on very high end captain on 16 and above, and some below.

Well I do agree with Darkstar73 here and the OP. I thought that the league thing was made as a way of seeding teams and allow less competetive teams to play/train against each other before they faced the more serious teams. It may well be as mrk421 the teams are too few. My clan seems to have extremely limited base who wants to play /or have T10s. We managed to get a team one of the first playing days, and I have tried a few more but we were only 5 or 6 players. So I have only played 3 games a little sad. (we were around 27 in the clan that day). Naturally if we managed to get a few more matches it will not increase the motivation if we were dragged into a game with an expert team. To be fair I did not have any high expectations but I admit that I have expected a little higher interest in my clan to play clan wars, but we are a mix with veterans and new players and to field 7 in T10 have been more difficult than expected. So I am trapped at the lowest of the low leagues. But we will se what happens later. If the Clan wars remain at T10 I may feel the necessity to wake up the other players in the clan or move if I want to play. As usual it was probably the wording of the OP that triggered the initial response, but sometimes it helps to try be a little constructive in the response as I do agree there is something in it. -

I agree with the BBflooding but a ship like DoY is for me more a collectors item. Will it make a player play more Battleship games. For me personally I may throw freexp or in campaign but if I play the ship it is instead of another Battleship. I play a distribution of DDs, BBs and Cruisers and any of these latest arrivals GC f.e. which I have has rather made me replace games with other battleships. If we disregard new lines and their effect, I think that the BBs can not be so many more in game proportionally. DoYs lack of heal makes her rather unattractive IMO, you may play her a game from time to time. I have KGV Prem camo so the XP does not matter and I am flooding in credits. It is probably a sales thing, but after the RN BBs I am surprised that the next French line are BBs and not the DDs. Most minor/panEuropean are also cruisers and DDs only so it would be good to have BBs in reserve but ofc we have BC and split branches also. -
Anyone else who can't do the stupid "shoot 10 planes down" mission because there are no lovely carriers in the games ?

Well it is just to play normal if it goes it goes, 2 camos I do not play special ships for -
I like when it is variety, sometimes you want to grind a particular captain sometimes it is wide grinding on several ship, for me that has almost all lines to T10 I like the capt XP on weekends where I have time to play same ship (cpts)

You have often as now another boost instead like Cpt XP or FreeXP.

I know that I am being ridiculed by some but there are cruisers who benefit from LS. Especially lower tiers. On higher tiers I go mostly without. DE is necessary by many. Your captain skills also depends on what flags you run, there is a anti-fire flag there, you naturally use prem repair etc. Some of these measures like flags you naturally do nat have enough for all but maybe 1or 2. FP I ignore on cruisers now with the shorter fire duration. I chooe PT over IFA. AR is naturally good but some also benefits from EM. CE is mandatory, but some lower tiers cruisers can be played without. F.e. I do not have CE on Bogatyr as she is a maxrange kiter if in trouble and she is slow so she does not get away, given that her guns benefit from AFT and BFT I use that instead and I do have a 19 p captain on this ship (only 800+ games) however in Chikuma I have CE, and I plan to take it on Jurien when I reach 10 p in her. The small maps and the general melee type of games prevents CE from being so useful. In higher tiers it is necessary for pure survival and some f.e. RN have very good CE. I have captains in every cruiser T2-T10 of all trees. At the higher tiers when reaching 14 I often prefer AFT as second top skill. I seldom play survival builds apart from Superint on a lot of ships.

Like every review one must put Flamus opinion in context, I also read LWMs reviews. Flamu is a little annoying when he shows a UP ship performing 110000 DMG. It would have been informative that if he to the video that he shows his prowess in says I have played x amount of games with say 56000 avg dmg and these are consistent between 35-80000. However one must judge his views in relation to your own strength. F.e. I do not use RPF as I do not have the skill necessary yet for that. I think his videos are good for the tips he makes however sometimes his playstyle his passive and I think only players like him can get away with it.

The value (necessity) of flags, prem. consumables , not playing stock hulls and have good captain increases the higher up you go. Today you have several veterans who is very experienced and have good captains.

Yes EA sports have a complete other target audience. Be realistic - they charge what the market are willing to pay, and WOWs it is a niche game. For me every ship is a game in terms of hours of play and that is the value. I have a friend who has bought maybe 15-20 games in last 2-3 years. I play only WOWS and have paid less than 10 Cent (1 SEK) per/game. It is alright for me. I accept that no game in this genre will likely come.

What do you play when a new ship line is released?

I play as usual, will go for first day win and use the win bonus in the mission. I will try to play with cruisers and f.e. Clemson to see how they fare. But I am not enthusiastic at all so compared with other releases it is the least interesting. Will not spend any free XP and EliteXP on these. Higher tiers is because of the grind factor very uninspiring. But I am also realistic - these DDs are for the Asian market not us in EU. -
Should Wargaming change the name of Tier X BB "France" to a different one?

If you want to chech if you have finished the mission you may find it out if you look in the reward box in the port (honor to Heroes left side). You can watch for every reward of why you get it and compare it with the Pan_Asia mission list. So if you have the completition reward 10 Blue lagoon camos you have made it. Exactly how long they remain I do not know. Mine has disappeared. But I know that I have made them and like others have said all missions and challenges disappear when they are finished. Do not forget to do the missions to get the final rewards stated on the Pan-Asian mission list. When they are released that is.

Do not forget the repeatable 100% XP to 15 games in random battles for the first stage of Pan-Asian DDs. Together with the 129 K Commander XP from second stage it should easily grant you to tier 4 with a prem account perhaps with normal also considering the often low XP demands in the lower tiers at least nearly. I yhink those both combined are a nice feature. But sure there will be some influx, but to me personally I have no direct urge to play even though I naturally will use my rewards. As the T7 have a forthcoming RN design which seems interesting at least that ship seems like a long term goal. But I will take it easy. Am not interested to waste Elite and FreeXP on this line. I may play a lot to see how to handle them instead. F.e. Clemson.

True I guess that WG does not want to burn out people. 1-2 on working days and 3 on saturday /sunday that is the usual week.

It has become too rare, I miss it. In the early days it was very common, too common could easy be several times in a row, and then it was on mid tier a lot. People whined but now it has become too rare instead. A clean map in a game of ships has its place. It demands more teamplay.

Depends on ship , as a collector I in the earlier days before I got lots of premiums start the captains from scratch but as time passed , the FreeXP accumulated and I have learned more of strategical usage of stuff and when to play a new ship (i.e. using freeXp to unlock modules) and have captains in stock for ships let us say from T7 and up on 10 pts. That said I do not buy every module without thinking, if there are say 3-4 modules and stock ship have usable range or speed I do not upgrade them, it depends. On mid tiers it depends on the ship even more as this is often only a few games. Flags depends on ship. In competetive mode all in incl. juliet charlie and all prem consumables. But this has increased due to amassing of funds. but I perhaps not use all spotting aircrafts in premium variant and so on, Premium repair and DCP always on every tier. Smoke, radar, def fire and TRB mostly. Camo always in various forms though in lower tier I may use the single perk ones as you got them from the containers. At mid higher tiers always the double perk (concelament/disp). In some low/mid tier favourite ships I have high end captains 14 to 19. With the elite XP I have somewhat changed the playing strategy to instead of always starting new captains f.e. for the French BBs right now, I instead play some ships with 19 p captains to amass elite XP to gain 10 p captains instead, that way you do not need to spend elite XP to retrain. Now I have f.e. a Chapayev 19p, that captain I can use in Kutuzov, Molotov, Nikolai, Murmansk, Oleg, Kraznykrym, Diana, and Aurora. Mostly I naturally play Kutuzov and Nikolai. So I try to play at least every other day besides other captain grind on the various ships. I think it is a natural step to 10 , then 14 as next goal for the captains, sometimes it is 12 or 13. After that it is very expensive and atm do not give that much more as I have all ships in the non CV techtrees I must go step by step. Lower tiers i sometimes have not so strong captains as I have moved a few upwards.

To those that think that the guns fwd and back may be wrong should know that Gascogne were planned in A-x config so this is consistent with the thinking in the French navy.

Impressive Yes really wonder what they put up as T10. Yamato did exist and Montana existed as a design ready to build but the rest....What can we expect and want 4x4x15 or 3x4x16 inch?

yes really surprised with this newcomer. Where does Jean Bart come into play, no problem with Richelieu in the tech tree? Some extreme AA build as T9 Premium or give away /freeXP? That said I have nothing against this quads fore and back thing as she was planned.

Well the last two took maybe 20-25 games, both I used Gearing for, Blyskawica I was pretty close acouple of times. When it only 1 cruiser or 2 on the enemy team it is sometimes difficult as I played the objectives and let it happen, only in the last Gearing game where I succeded when we was in great lead I went for and specifically targeted the cruiser. Gearings abilty to smoke up makes the BB part easy enen if you do not connect w torps. 4-5 DDs a team = DD done (or the other way around) but the cruiser. that was the tricky thing as they are often radars or hydro it is not the first target of priority for the DDs. But it will go in the end. Good Khaba players can certainly do it with ease but for average players the lack of capping ability is difficult, I had some domination games where I got 80-90 K of dmg but still only made 4-5 th in team as others have gained more cap points.

Naturally but you have Kraken, Confederate and High Caliber, Solo Warrior is so rare so I Ignore that, Defence awards does not exist only tanking rewards.

The 5 vs 5 DD and flooding damage mission makes also the number of cruisers often down to 1 or maybe 2 at most and that decreases the chance of flooding i.e. that HE spamming cruisers forces repair. I got mine 2 stage mostly by catching an Iowa on cooldown after that happened so the greatest chance is after fires. Usually its the other way around. You hit w torp and say to your team that ship x is on cooldown set fire.
