alright sorry I misintepreted you but nevertheless this game needs to cater for all players regardless of ships and mechanics as we need numbers in the game also, but I agree that balancing ships is important but 1 % seriously, that we shall not take potatoes or people who do not care into account but surely more that 1% of yhe players are important in designing ship and classes etc -

Naturally not, no game could survive on that premise, what you do need is game and interface that promises progression in knowledge. You can not balance that only 1% should understand the mechanics, you should balance the game so that an average player can understand the mechanics decently not so RNG influences so muchagainst the 1% player but that he can bring some resistance. You need opponents also, that is at least some challenge. It is funny to see the other elite players like your post, that is their privilege to do if they want to, but that gives not a good game as there are too few, the final touches can and should make a difference for the elite that I agree for, but it is WGs responsibilty to make a game that gives feedback to normal players that want to improve. If you elitist players get a game that cater only for the 1% it is not business viable and it would be too few CV players. It is up to WG to solve that balance, rewarding good/elite and average players. -
Use guns a lot with DE you have 10 % fire chance, I have nearly got 70 K gun only as best results, I am an average DD player but I realize that effective use of smoke and guns can make this ship work.

Here is my Chappa build , I have the Kutuzov so Superintendent necessary. As I mainly play the Kutuzov LS is ignored. DE was my 15-17 p and EM last 2. I can use the captain on many cruisers also on Murmansk and Molotov, bought the Soviet bundle in sept where I got the Kutuzov and Molotov (other 2 gold). Excellent eliteXP captain for me.

I would not mind that either some economic/grind XP bonus. But then matched to a single ship or so, you can not mount in on multiple ships f.e.. And not reassign wiyhout penalty sort of premium flag.

The flags that you get temporary from reaching certain ranks in ranked during season, more -% the better rank you reached. Two-three levels during last if I remember correct.

I know that the result is maybe not fantastic for the players posting here but for me 161 K in Shima vs 3 radars is quite alright, Will not complain directly on the teamplay, we lost to a better team, it may have been some errors but I can not directly recall any as I had a hectic game myself, better for once give credits to the enemy.

You think so? A slot on sale 150 Doubloons is almost nothing, I never sell premiums how bad they are does not matter. Silver ships you can always rebuy.

Yes I bought König Albert GC and Belfast day 1. So I agree with you fully. But that is more a question why you buy not play

Well I have also bought prem camos on several ships which also makes me play some ships less, f.e. I got Zao prem camo with 100 %XP so the need to play Atago is not high

Well one gets a 6p capatain and a ship with the final mission so it depends on the time, at least with some higher tier ships that can produce damage it is not a tough grind, if you can play at least a few games /day.

I have in both my attempts in my KGV (then spawning at the north) moved up and taken care of the Atlanta, Cleveland and Omaha in the northeast to ensure the transports arrival and then returned to center. Aoba that spawns in the island has been impossible to save - wonder if that is a hidden thing to ensure her survival. Two games 5 and 4 stars (failing carrier).

Everyone of them + other (collector wise), but credits is now no longer a factor. You also play to motivate for yourself the insane money you spend on pixels....

Perhaps but if you grind a T7 it can be fun a few times, it is a new map and you can try it with different ships. I have personally played it twice, after my first succesful w 5 stars, I played one yesterday as well and got 4 (failing to sink the carrier). I might have a few more tries, it is after all XP and if you win it is a decent amount.

I feel they are difficult to play at the start, with no torps against DDs. If you have a alert team with fastfiring DDs and Cruisers, I have sometimes rushed the enemy PA in mine PA DD if the situation looks favourable (writing in chat that I rush pls supp) by prox spot if my team mates help I have been rather succesful. Had a game where I sunk 3 PA DDs, with help from friendly normal DD and a cruiser and survived myself. They were not ready for the rush tactic. However that is on low tier radarfree maps (Fault line, A-zone). I have also had a few games with high gun damage numbers in the 50-70 K zone in T5 DD (and no torp dmg), with DE it is 10% firechance so in the right circumstances the guns are the thing. I have played some games where there are only 1-2 DDs /side so it seems that the numbers of DDs have waned even though some games have been 5-6 DDs. Aiming for t7, just started on T6 which I transfered my old Anshan cpt to. But I will not directly grind this line, only very slowly above T7, if at all. Maybe T8 as I have the LoYang with a ca 10p captain since last years X-mas presents.

To be honest Belfast and GC is great ships and the buff to GCs torp red is insane. But nevertheless MM is random that means you sometime have the combination of excellent players and good ships on one side. If you play 100 games some of them you will have OP Premiums on your side, so in the long run it evens out. And never give up from the start.

First try with random lot , but we managed 5 stars some familiar names f.e. MoveZig in his Shiratsuyu. had not the best start as we lost a Battleship early, managed with some difficulty sink tha Atlanta in the north, and then just stopped the DD-trio from reaching the repairbase - if I was poor at the start I at least played better there and in the end , killing off DD + Alabama. We were three survivors. Must especially thank the Fiji who managed to get the carrier, and Belfast with 6 kills. We seemed to work alright and it seemed that the players had done their homework mostly. Had myself watched Yusral and Jingles videos, but it is always nice to succeed first time. Sadly I had only two compliments left which went to the other two survivors, but I want to thank all in the team. We had luck as we managed to kill the Atlanta just when the transports arrived by a fort, I had taken away most of his health before, but had not the luck with RNG there, and it cost me nearly all my health as I took a few torps (had to sink him). We had just the correct number of surviving aircraft.

You both learning from your mistakes, other players mistakes and by yourself and through others. Also what you do well and what others do well. WOWs is no different from other parts of life.

I sort of like your deduction and I would also add that since the early BCs were rather (esp RN) rather poorly armoured they might be easier to fit in at lower tiers without heal if you keep the original ships at T3/4 with poor AA.. -
One problem w US ships is that they were more conforming to treaty and ignored torps which are of more value ingame than in real life (apart from IJN)
