But I dont want a bloody supercontainer?!?!
Gnirf replied to Phrank_Phish's topic in General Discussion
Think of the cost to transport them in an armoured vehicle -
A few times a year, often during summer also but then sadly 1 ship a day the latest two years, mainly T6-8. If you miss that particular day the chance is missed for that ship. The christmas boxes may but only may be a chanec if you are ready to gamble but then you must accept lots of camos and flags in the boxes you miss, maybe 10 %-15 % drop rate and you should want that ship that you get, but you will not get duplicates, until you run out of the ships in the lists that you can get. Expensive but may be the only chance to reciev ships like Belfast , Kutuzov , kamikaze etc even Nikolai and Gremy can be drawn but these ships are rare, Gremy was the last ship for me but Nikolai pretty early the year before. But I have bought maybe 60 boxes or more/year. Sometimes packages might be offered to high prizes.

Did you get any British DD-missions from the containers?
Gnirf replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
Nothing in my first 5 at least today (in game mission rewards). -

Yes but that they were at least 4? The enemy individual stats is not shown
-
Where is the enemy damage (the 4 ships) stats on you? Are you sure they were 4?
-
True but its WIP - however as a collector......who cares?

The captain grinding in RN for BBs seems to be rather easy in the future - especially on weeks like this with 200% first win, but even 100 is really good. With Dreadnought, Vanguard to complete the Hood, Nelson, Duke of York and Warspite - I know my goal is to fix a few 19 p in the long run for RN BBs, I have 3 14 p only so far and 5 is 10-13. I like really T6/7 play, much more than Mega zao - I do not find her fun. Jack is on my KGV. Both these must buy ships - hope that at least Dreadnought will be some mission - she is a ICON

BOXCEPTION -
In scenarios like the Hermes and Cherry it is fine - then you balance the bots by numbers en masse. Do not forget that WW1 had a complete other set up with Italy and Japan in the Entente. You know that Japan build destroyers for France f.e.. 12 of them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabe-class_destroyer

Impressive game no doubt

Advanced Firing Training, or Fire Prevention, on my German battleships?
Gnirf replied to Procrastes's topic in General Discussion
I have very few ships with Man Sec - Bismarck is one of them as I do want this ship to be different - as I mostly play US BBs otherwise hightier I want something different and other gaming experience - at lower tier I try also to have CE on most BBs but some I have ignored - there are too many CVs and DDs etc on those smaller maps But AFT I think is rather useful on these Cv infested areas and also because the combination AA bubble/Man surface bubble - have not calculated that too much , but as I run the fire flag (duration) on some and the increaed healing flag on some it is not that often you have 3 fires so I prefer other perks, it is to expensive at 4 points , it is certainly so that I do not play optimum in all ships but decent enough. On lower tiers it is a waste Manual so we will see what I will take on my König when that ship reaches 19 ( are on 17 now) but an alternative can be BoS or /HA/JOT combinations. It depends on the overall points budget. But i want different set ups for the lines, I have all lines so I try to mix a little in my battleships.- 23 replies

- advanced firing training
- fire prevention
- (and 2 more)

Played a Moskva yesterday for the SC, bet the Grosser Kurfurst thought it was fun to have some fires lit on him from radar fire. And the GK is large enough to get a few more on blindfire0. To be fair I think it is interesting if it a resonable rarity, the upcoming weather phenomenon like in Hermes/Space withg limited vision faster down blooming I look forward to, again if it does not happen to often.

Sort of... The new Arms race mode will make if it is successful T8 easier as it may draw away a lot of ships. How much it will influence the MM in percentage Low/high/Mid for T8 remains to be seen, but some effect is to be expected.

I did kill someone but he didn't die !!! is it possible ?
Gnirf replied to Atorpad's topic in General Discussion
That movie is pure quality, like the successor - how do you defeat the Nazi zombies - yes awake Russkie zombies - think you can find them on youtube. Nerd zombie squad - priceless -
Well, The Premium ships IMO could also be weird ships that are rewarding for the good player, odd ships like Nelson f.e. slow but with heavy punch not so easily to fit in the normal tech tree. Now to your comparison Fiji vs Belfast - you forget one thing healthwise - Fiji has heals 4 of them if you slot SI and premium consumables which you of course have. You have better AP in Fiji then Belfast if I remember correctly the ones in Belfast are not of the RNs improved angle type. Belfast is unbalanced yes no discussion . it is withdrawn from sale but Fiji is a very good ship. I bought Belfast on day 1 as I have been on her in London and as the reviews were OP -ship I feared that she would be withdrawn as Nikolai almost directly - she lasted quite long however like Kutuzov. But among the premiums in general there are several quite mediocre ships and some very good even of the latest releases - look at IJN battleships f.e.. Mutsu, Ashitaka, Kii very mediocre.
-
Considering it is now 2 years in a row you at least now have a goal for next year... However they might change it then of course
-
Yes, 18 SC s + 1 for the IJN New T10 which I will have soon, if Salem counts too as a Premium T10 its one more. Hope they are good, there is no ships left to win. 20 DC modification.....I happy take a few steel containers - wonder how rare they are.

Can not complain -fantastic rewards! Lots of SCs and flags/camos coming in The Whiners can stop now

Ranked: Should the "keep your star if you are best in team if you lose" be removed?
Gnirf replied to SaintGordon's topic in General Discussion
I voted no. It is not set in stone, but we need to have a surplus in stars or whatever system so it is a sort of progression from a psychological view for the involved players. Until I see a better option I would leave it as it is. It is also that if you do not have a natural progression it may be difficult to find players at least different ones as you move. At the end of the day, you must look at some basic features whatever system you have - reasonable easy to understand , meaningful for players to try to the last, even for a player that does not achieve much but is on the winning team - so he does not have to yolo a BB in a DD as he is unsure if he is on the last spot on a team that is winning. I know that the system has flaws - but any system will. -
I think that you can add a few points that influences a lot especially now when the game is mature, more so on higher tiers. Playing style : i.e. like me wants variation and switch ships Not good for win rate Captain training: Pays for transferring high end captains along the grind instead of starting new : Not for me as a collector at least I try to start on 10 p on higher tiers. Not good for win rate FreeXP ing Stock hulls ship upgrades: Yes tick that for me now Collector : Not good for win rate - grinds every ship even those I hate FreeXP usage: Save for all new FreeXP ships Yes, but I can afford the Bhull at least from T6/7 and so on, but for those who doesn´t its negative. Plays too much - perhaps negative
-
Well I disagree. Yes you face different opponents both solo, random and divisions, but you play differently yourself as a player. If you are a player that almost never plays divisions like myself, your score is not affected by divisionplay where others might carry you or sink you. I tend to agree with some other postings in various threads that good players /optimal set divsions and the opposite tends to enhance the numbers in both directions. AS a talking point I can agree with simplified counts as you write, but for me as a player when I look if I suck or perform decently in a ship or overall I look at solo numbers. Some ships do really benefit from divisions while others are less dependent.
-
Interesting @Armorin is this numbers solo games or both division/solo combined? It is after all more difficult to reach higher numbers with solo play.
