Stealing this from the NA Forum. Now with the bonus when you have lots of ships in port, how do you collect the snowflakes? Personally I use a mixed approach of coop/random, I also tend to play premiums even if many are just in coop with a captain(s) that I grind in resp.nation. Some ships that I really enjoy in random will be played in random to get lots of extra rewards. I do some systematic in my grind nation/tierwise but I also concentrate on certain ships. I want to get rid of the snowflakes as soon as possible so I can leave that behind, especially the cerificates grind. Also ships that are already at max. captain points will be grinded. My elite XP generation is very weak as I tend to prio grind of my 19 p captains that are left, or new lines/regrind of lines, where the regrinds goal is to make the captain 21 or at the points I want. I will use the extra snowflakes rewards on low tier non premiums and ships I do not like. I have this month bought the extra battlepass as you have the 150% first win and it gives extra 5% on steel and coal which with the crates and extra 18x 3 crates in the battlepass seems reasonable. Subs and superships except. Dalarna will not be played. Bought that as a Swede , with the update to "normal" prize and moved my Chapman to it.

Now during snowflake time: My ship T6 New Mexico in a T8 Fight , CV, 2 subs /team, glorius future . That was my thought, but let us fight! End result, Good for rewards too (max extra).

I would rather take Ohio but that is me. It depends on what you like.

Bought 2x20 Megas, a little disappointed, statwise that should have brought 6,4 ships, and I got 5 including Tulsa and Malta that could be had for coal. But my main issue was that I got "lucky" with credits and camos. 8 out of 40 was 2.250.000 Credits and 3 camos. 1 set of 2.500 Doubloons . The 2 free small were just credits and green boosters. So the 5 ships was Malta (10), Chkalov (12), Tulsa (25), Aquila (36), Rochester (39). Now I will go in and buy Iwami for coal so that last remaining coal ship disappears. I know that 1 more coal ship has been announced so I was not too negative to have those 2 for coal so I could have some stock of coal left. As you van see there are no ships below T8, they are no ships left there to get so my haul is not representative for most players. Well one could not have it all. Now I will get my certificates and get the free Megas, but that will take a while. Best luck to all forum members, I have seen some impressive hauls already

1/3/5 is like last year. I think it is oK to be able to mix at your own desire. There are many suspect things in WG but the certificates is nothing that annoys me much, more that they have included credits and useless camos as possibilities in the containers.

Kind of. As noone have them except those who got them in the first box in the bundles, when you exchanged 50000 FreeXP for 1 box. Therefor from pure statistics these should be the most common draw of the second tier group. I miss 13 ships or so before the draw begins, I will buy a few sets but will wait if one of the coupons might copme before the boxes sales goes to end. Also the certificates will likely bring me 13-14 Mega boxes so we will see how coal or boxes will thin out the numbers needed.

Well I saved my KOTS collection for this day. So I bought 2 KOTS for tokens and completed that so I could get Collinwood by the T7 Premium container (was updated now) as this was the sole ship. Now I can buy crates (none below T8 remains). Expecting subs ofc as the first two.

Hmm I may have got the post you answered somewhat wrong then, thought he meant getting it so it would be removed from any future Santas ship drops. But the new rare list includes DY ships. My bad then.

Have you not checked the updated rare list?

Zao is one of the few cruisers at T10 that I take out from time to time likes her guns (comfy to use esp. at DDs) in randoms.

It looks great, well used flags! So when you have relearned the operations (which I have to do), what win rate is to be expected in random operations, and roughly how many stars. Now I am talking as a random player (55% WR) that does not division, so i can not adapt the ship directly, I will probably start the journey in Bayard or Mainz as cruisers or maybe Alabama Massachusetts, perhaps Constellation (torps) and lenin. That is because these are the captains I grind. Do we talk about 75 % WR or higher? I played only Narai, but were quite fond of Hermes and Cherry Blossom, the others I did ignore and have to relearn. When i played Narai with ship choice, the WR was around 95-98%, seldom below 4 stars. Sadly I did not play more or less until the last 2 times before the new style of random operations were introduced.

69, have been away some days and a few days had so little time, got all the weekly missions and that is the key, if I miss a few dailies it is something I can live with. Bought the 2500 doubloon pass for free doubloons, but next update I need to buy a few, doubloons, but will buy it, 5 Christmas gifts + the others seems OK. I will due to it is a snow flake event calculate if it is reasonable with the extra pass, it is after all extra containers and coal, was it 40 or 50 points extra for that bonus mission each week? Together with my massive fleet it may be interesting with the extra bonus this next particular update.

@The_EURL_Guy T-shirts...I am still waiting for the Torpedopillows!! I went to a Event (Dreamhack a few years ago but they were not available even there. So why not produce those pillows en masse, I would gladly buy those for the sofa etc..

I think on the other hand that Ranked shoud vary in tiers between seasons, especially at silcer /bronze level. It gives variety that not everything is in T10. F.e. T5 now in bronze nu subs no CV = Paradise

OK, I think that mine suggestions then work fine, mine take is that the best are fast firing guns preferably HE as they break the DDs modules (missions) better than AP and also you try to focus enemy DD before the other ships in your opposite spawn, gives a lot of XP , torps you need for alpha against BBs or Cruisers so therefor I do my choice like that.

I guess so, but every real ship built in steel I want, so coal is already earmarked for Tromp. As a Swede ( I think you are too?) it may be of interest to know that Sweden had designs which were based on the Tromp type with slightly heavier armour and sturdier built (for Ice conditions). But they never materalized. So that is an extra plus.

Concur with 159hunter PA cruisers is a good line playwise but it s paper. US Cruisers I would say are less viable as there are slow firing with no torps. Not Coop friendly but maybe Operations OK (have not used them there) (lack of torp serilous disadvantage IJN Cruiser torp arcs bad in coop, I would say RN is a good choice, RU OK (old lighter tree), German also. French probably OK but fewer torps, not the alpha strike for a battleship. I torp point blank so less range on torps is not so important. As you have only mentioned cruiser lines I will only comment these. NL Line less coop friendly.

I have 1 Dunkerque. I went for the bundles chain then. i have had zero luck on all the crates including a few premiums (via the chain to Dunkerque) but as I have all ships in civil, I will not pursue anything except when it is free or extremely favourable offers.

Seriously, if you do personal suggestions you must expect critics, at least in the form of that you lack relevant background, why have you chosen these designs that you show, are they export designs from reality export offerings or what or is it just imagination? I suspect the latter as I a have a lot of knowledge but can not rule out the prolific design teams in Britain f.e..

Tha maps are small. I play König all season for the steel, no problems at all. It has not been T5 ranked since first sprint so it is excellent that there is variety. There are several good ships at T5. The cruisers in this tier are fragile but they can use the speed to frustrate the BBs. You just have to stand out this ranked, it will be different tiers other seasons. I actually like when there is tier variety in bronze between seasons.

Personally I have played operations from time to time in bursts so to say, but I am not sure that I am hooked on the totally random operations thing. Some are better played with certain ships, and if you want to understand a scenario you like to play same with not too long interval, I had a few scenarios that I liked some that I disliked, not sure if I like the idea of spending several hours before I get lucky with the scenario lottery. I wonder how you measure that in your stats - a player that likes the sceanario thing but does not like the random nature. Because then you might draw the wrong conclusions i.e. the players does not like scenarios , instead of realizing that if I like to play Narai, cherry Blossom and hermes which I did before but ignored most of the others totally. I will play scenarios a limited number in the future but I am not willing to endure the scenarios that I am less fond of in a large number. Perhaps some compromise could be made here? At least one day per week where it is a given scenario? @YabbaCoe

Yes I have found that the light cruisers in general are excellent coop/mission ships the PA cruiser line f.e.. I played one random game in the T9 PA by mistake, had such a fine game so I know I will destroy the stats by playing more.... Now with the IJN I probably mix, doing a slow grind as this is just fantasy ships with limited appeal.

The spreadsheet determines that I am enthusiast close to hardcore, however the number of games determines that I am a complete lunatic and if the asylums were still open I could not write this...
