So you calculating on nothing in the 4 th stage and Hall of Fame? Personally I calculate to reach the necessary for the captain, if I do not get sick or something. I have the Le Terrible so those 200 tokens have helped.

Met @Saltface in coop a few minutes ago, the effiency by playing coop in the missions really makes me notice several forum members coming to this conclusion, almost every day I see some. Best regards mate

I use mostly coop as I have a limited timeframe on the weekdays to do them and need victories, if I am certain to do it on the time at hand I play more random or ranked to do missions. For example I often try to do a few game sbefore work in the morning when <I eat breakfast, they are ofc coop , and then some games when I return home to ensure I am in the 2nd stage near or at the end, then I play random if I have the time. On Saturdays and Sundays/vacation when there maybe more time I play randoms but all this is connected with directives and such, i do want to finish each set as soon as possible to play thereafter as I want so Coop is the method, 500 sec hits = DSome German BBs in Coop =Done and then you fix the daily missions as well especially when I do not grind any particular ships, Grind I do in random , f.e. the regrind of 3 BB lines that I do now. Near the end of the month when the hard level of daily missions have been reached I am less interested in doing both unless its the XP days 4,9 etc.

I was membert there some years but I wanted more books for the real specialist. So I buy mostly on Amazon and other sources + 2nd hand, even have books in Japanese for the photos/illustrations and plans of IJN ships. I have all Warship Yearbooks from 1989 onwards, Warship 49 magazines, Many of the early Warships in profile + several refernce books by Jordan, Burt Friedman etc on most of the large navies. i am lacking in italian and Dutch navies even if many articles are included in those books + I have printed out articles from Kaigun f.e. as IJN is my favourite navy and you never know if such webmaterial disappears. I have as you several hundred books and have to give away books to give place to more wanted material. Feel free to post me a PM if you wish to have mail contact.

@Hanse77SWE are you a gamer or a player that is interested in the subject? Personally I am a hardcore player in the subject. i have spent maybe 5-6000 hours in 4 years despite being more occupied with work the last 2 years, the first 2 not so much sadly. But I am a naval buff with many books, and lots of naval kits so this game regardless of its faults have too much to offer. I played Master of Orion , the first release for 20 years because I liked the subject (space , 4 X) strategy that did not last forever. Now I do agree that games have its attention span but I do not have a fixed date myself, as long as the game provides decent entertainment I will continue play - at least as long as no replacement game of better quality is coming which must be very good considering the shipmodels etc the OKish nature of how the game works it has flaws but for most of the time I am pleased. My 4 year experience: +a game that is less reliable on fast reflexes and need some thought beforehand +vast assortment of ship models + some event modes fun and worthy of implementation in random battles + promising intro of scenarios +variety (albeit gimicky) gameplay for the different navies + forum that provides knowledge +lots of youtube material/guides +plenty of ships not yet released can give more ships to long for, several smaller navies and tech tree splits are left +/--NTC could have been better implemented, however some form of regrinding incentive is in principle positive +/- lots of shipreleases but the backlog is huge and I think there is too many paperships +/- Low/mid tier scenarios wanted and several of the best scenarios (Hermes Cheery Blossom) have not returned yet - introduction of vast number of ships behind different currencies makes planning difficult - Loot boxes that have no warranty or chance values - Although quality of camos have gone up prizes have too - no "cart system in shop" -It has been a huge number of grindy campaigns with finite time which makes it impossible for normal players to get the rewards, even if I myself has managed them it is easy to get burned out As a collector I feel that I must have nearly everything +/- Submarines - depends on how they are implemented +/- Carrier rework - do not play it much whether it was before or after - it is no game decider for me Regarding your Nick. I am also from Sweden and I really long for some even if it is only a few Swedish ships it will prolong my interest in the game a lot

Look I was very careful not to suggest that you should do as I in the text. Just hinting that by playing more when there is the Free permacamos from missions to grab now and then + buying a few perma camos on T10s makes the usage vs new camos from free directives and so on in better shape. You have 11000 battles so it is likely that you have had several opportunities for the free permacamos. Andmost that play that much are probably prepared to make some cash outlay. But I am also quite conservative in using those I had. Early in my career I was exactly as you short of permacamos. You recieved 10 or so in a difficult 5-stage mission which you seldom made. That was before the crates system. sSo the inflyx is way higher and if you find the 50% offer on permas, I have bought for several T6-9 ships that I enjoy,like Fletcher the IJN DDs f.e. But naturally it is a question also if you want to use them verey time you play. I use them for the grind part , seldom when you reached the next ship. It is just lately that I have started to use them more as I will not get rid of them otherwise, I even used them in my quest for 10 p on low tier ships to play as few as necessary, now on regrind of lines I use them ofc.

I started by resetting 3 lines US French and IJN BBs (sadly you were sent back to T1 cruiser). Luckily all future grinding of ships is eased by having 10 p for every ship. My rule is FreeXP all Bhulls and such otherwise i will grind all low tier ships, i have some that I have not played for a very long time. My goal is to play in normal speed wiyth these 3 lines, and not using more FreeXP (or at least not to much) and see what the cost and time is. Other ships I play normally. I have 1 19 p in the IJN line, 2 in the US and 0 in the French below T10 so the Elite XP will be limited from the grind itself. (I have 19p on the T10s). we will see how fast it goes. I will not reset more until later. Maybe RN after I have grinded the leg module for Conqueror, 12000 Base XP left.

Well I do not know if you are a F2P Player , I do not expect you to reach my outlay, I spend far too much, but as I have played a long time I have tried to get some Perma camos, nearly all my T10s, and some lower also. Quite a lot have been rewards in the missions around New Year for several T6/7 and even 8 + the event camos even if they look awful. I have also used the 50% off on Permacamos which have happen a few rare occasions to buy some. I have thereafter been disciplined enough to use the one-use camos more or less only on ships that do not have any permas. With all missions /directives etc my supply has gone up a lot. I will not say that you should buy as many as I do, but with playing more when perma camos can be found in missions may be a wise strategy + a buying a few perma camos on T10s.

Yes i know, Bogatyr and Svetlana I have 19 and 14 p captains on , but as I am grinding Moskvas leg module I do that first and take other branches instead, besides can you reset a crruiserbranc which starts at T1 without resetting all lines for a country tech tree?

New personal best in Kutuzov, it is always nice to break the 200K Barrier. Were sometimes in a critical situation as I defended and kited (perfect for Kutuzov) while most of our ships went for enemy cap. But all went optimal - drawn out fight which makes the numbers rise. Of the 210 K around 85 K was fire damage. Good for the missions too.

Well - I am pretty convinced - but there is a slight twist In this statement: There is the frustration level which will rise-- so if the better players (who knows better how to play) ranks out and the overall standard decreases you are more likely to get frustrated i.e. if you know that you are beaten by better players and you play as you think is right but does not quite match the standards and wins slightly less you are likely to feel that less painful than if you play in a worse environment and win slightly more. Games are more likely to be thrown unnecessary and so on. Maybe thats the thing that cause people to think "illogical". I have only played a few games yet and I can not say that the experience is worse or better than previous seasons. I am happy to advance down the line a few ranks in my Jutland but I will never grind. If I reach T10 or so thats perfectly fine. I like that the zones have disappeared with buffs in this season, though an interesting gamemode I do not like it over and over again. But it can be placed as a seldom occuring game mode in the random battles.

Well I have some other lines also , maybe RU cruisers, IJN BBs. But it is good if you can reset several times as there wil be multiple seasons and if you like myself have some 19 p captains in the grind it will also give eliteXP. Personally I often play the mid tiers ships and I tend to have as a goal now to get 19 p on my T10s but also on some of my favourite T5-7s. So this process is not so painful in some lines. It is the T8 and 9 grinds that are painful, not just because that they are longer but as I see them as less fun/game. US CAs Brrrrrrrr........ Probably one of them I will never do, hates them but Good luck!!

Well I sort of agree with all these points. I am more concerned with Carrier rework, submarines the endless lootboxes without warranty. But this is voluntary and tis are not if the ships are decently balanced worse than freeXP ships. It should be considered as an alternative. With that said I would not mind Ohio and Colbert be available for FreeXP say 1, 3 Million so you can choose money or grind. I am in favor to get more flexibility in choosing the "Freemium ships" currency, now you have another currency that goes for some ships instead of a bunch of ships with prices both in coal, steel, FreeXP or Research tokens, they can put the prize unequal if they want to, to promote a certain gameplay. IMO even the steelships can be introduced after say 2 years but very expensive.

I may consider to reset a few lines. How about permanent camos, both the bought "standard perma" or won by missions and legendary modules. Will they be stored also? I presume that they are. I am toying f.e. with US BBs as you get a lots of flags they can be done easily I think, and I (as with all lines) have at least 10 p captains on all ships (3x19).. Combining some grind with using freeXP in storage. But as this is the line I prefer has it been stated if you can reset if you can do it all over again, as doing US BBs 3 times f.e.. I think I have to see this venture (NTC) as a alternative to using FreeXP for these ships and grinding combined with FReeXP use is a sort of FREEXP sink. Credits I have as all veterans so that is no issue.

It should be easier for normal/average players when the big boys have ranked out.

Well thats just what I do too, a few games when I eat breakfast at around 06.50-07.20. It can really be challenging when youir 3 bot DDs managed to get killed without enemy losses (and the other way around can happen too). Ideal is playing DD with a bot cruiser that escorts you and is a damage sponge while killing the enemy DD. The bot cruisers then kill each other and then you yolo the enemy BB with fast game as a result, decent XP gain /time.

If you have not done a complete reboot of your windows for several years this will also produce problems in an accelerating rate, regardless of fresh installs of the game.

One thing is that the coop population does not always support Full human teams. I play a lot for missions at T10 coop as it is time efficient and it is not uncommon to have several bots in your team. Might be diificult to program good bots if your own team is full of suiciders. It is a little irritating when your own DD bots kil each other or RNG could all lose. the bots tend to ram each other. If youare in for a challenge play US cruisers or other large squishy ships open water. the bots sometimes aim very good and you are soon back. Best in coop play effiency wise are f.e. Z52, smoke +hydro and fast reload torps. Shima w 15 torps also good. The utlity ships shine less. French DDs without smoke I find subpar in coop but I have only tried the tiers 5+6 + Le terrible yet. Yolotorping I find is the best way to torp( at close distance so all hit).

The stream missions can give a few more containers. I wait to use my tokens until I have got all the free containers.

Graf Spee is at least different so I give that ship a pass. Benham seems OK? Have not played mine in random yet. Exeter is IMO quite strong.

Update 11 aug. Have got the free containers from the first 2 stages + 1 from 3rd stage. And a few others from stream mission and the montly daily missions. No premiums bought. Have got the stage 5 and 6 missions. I do not count on more but I have a few left to get. Fight w us week 3 and the smaller countries (4 in stage 3) and the stage 4 ofc. So there is a slight hope naturally.
