If you can afford premium time and perma camo on DM you can get good results without flags. Otherwise if you perform well in DM you get max benefit of using special flags as you describe by playing w DM and a 19 p captain. T10 ship that you perform well in is excellent. The use of permacamo makes it even viable in coop even without special flags (when you run out). As elitexp can be used anywhere on every nation and line it is best to use it where you perform best (base XP wise). Now when you have the first it will be easier for every one but they cost so it is a balance of getting 19 p and numbers of playable captains , one 10p costs roughly 1/10 of a 19 so it is strategic choices in long term.

Yes I will look at the players in HoF to see their stats with interest. But a bot wiyhout flags how much Base XP can he gain and you must have lots of bots for each ship and shift them maybe thats easy?

I think that they are quite hopeless if you do not have almost anything left to get. I got Nikolai the first year in the middle so to speak with many ships left. 2nd year I got my Kamikaze and Gremy as the 2 last possible ships 60-80 crates or so, but there were not more than 5-6 ships left then. 3 rd year did not buy any (no ships to get). This year 4 free+26 T10 small + 40 mega w Gorizia. Out of the 6 ships left I got 1 from the small 3 from the 40 , bought GZ and have Fujin left as only drawable ship. Will not buy any more.

Yes, and it shold be shown for every player in game when you play. However no matter how much you pay its virtually impossible to reach HoF as money do not help you apart from signals/camos.

The Rewards in the Puerto Rico Directives are extremely low Dear @Sub_Octavian One thing that I miss in these discussions about the grind of Puerto Ricos directives is the low compensation for the effort if somehow a player manages to do it. I would say that they are downsized with 90% roughly vs other events. I will give you a few examples spread out: First stage: Trophy Year 12.000.000 Credits Reward 100.000 = Less than 1%. 200000/game =60 games =15 hours. Yes 100.000 credits fantastic! 2nd Stage: 5.600.000 Damage = 1 Special Flag Yes playing 56 fights w 100 K damage = 14 hours for 1 flag 7 th stage : EU 580.000 Commander points =250 steel. 2000 /game = 290 games=72,5 hours. One stage in rank generally is about this size of rewards, and it does not require even close to that amount of play. You do advertise that there are 2.250 steel but the hours is just is not enough even for a great player. And for me Free Ship is not that you must put in 1000s of flags at say 0,15 EUR/flag (Santa Mega Box) to have a chance. That is why above figures have not included flags, which btw does not help in Base XP directives. That you could do it to get it faster done is one thing but it is different to do it some amounts and that you must do it in hundreds if not 1000 at least to even move on the progress meter. To put in at least a few hundred to get some tens of value is not what I call a well constructed reward/effort required thing. So why has the reward vs effort in this event gone down so massively, not just the insane amounts of grinding necessary. It is easy to compare this event with past events and the difference is insane. Do not care in this instance of your statement that PR is for 1% possibly less of playerbase, here is the efforts /reward proportion in the various directives. Namely hours played vs the rewards, why such a huge slash? The values vs effort are hardly even symbolic, while earlier it felt like a reward. What is the point of constructing missions with 250 steel in reward if no player will reach that far or at least only the pros. This reasoning goes by the unlikely idea that you somehow have made the efforts required correct - naturally the efforts are 10x too high mostly to bring it down to levels that are managable even with my high level of play. I play 15-25 hours weekly at least, and have done so since I joined in october 2015 , and I do plan to play a lot during christmas but my joy have gone down surely 50% at least if not more after the PR announcement and the various discussions. One of the finest graphical ideas (The dockyard) used like this. If a player like me does not even have a realistic chance........Really wonder how many players if any at all non.bots or professional players even will reach Hall of Fame.

Yes that is the way i see it too. The directives should be eased with 90 %. But as they stated that only dedicated players with loads of flags to use (to reach the goals) they do not even get anything for it.. Have edited somewhat with more text.

I must confess I did not know that you can create one man divs just for the purpose of doing stages in missions - in this case stage 3 River Plate. Just join the div as the game is about to start (see picture) , does not matter if anyone joins you. Saw that on the NA server and this was something that I had missed. do not know if it has always worked like that or will in the future but it does in the moment of writing. Maybe it can help someone, but I suspect all/most of you know it...............

Colorado is T7 so that will be difficult sadly. I have two from Gorizia Mega and do not know which ship I will put them on. The ships I play most I have camos on mostly but for new ships that I like I rather have more normal.

Alright went full Retard and bought the Gorizia Pack w 40 Mega crates. Before this I missed only Graf Zeppelin, Bayard, Yudachi, Yahagi and Fujin. (ark Royal was also missed before event but I got her in the first of the four small free containers) All in supercontainers so rerolls: 3 ships, Yahagi, Yudachi, Bayard (Container 25,27.31) in that order. (T5, T6 and T8) 5x2000 doubloons 3x12500 Coal 7x20 NY streamer 3x20 Frosty Fir 1x5 Spring Sky 1x5 Mosaic 17x30 Specaial signals I used the doubloons to buy Graf Z from shop w the coupon (10500). I have bought plenty of crates but never recieved premium time. Now I miss only Fujin but have the other two Kamis so will not buy more, but I can ofc get the ship in one of the crates that we recieve from missions etc..

As I answered in another poll of the 4 free login conatiners that I got Ark Royal in, The 26 Tier X Free small gave nothing of importance (flags, camos and 1 300 doubloon haul + 2 10000 Free XP, + 1x2500 Coal). Since I got Ark Royal it is OK for free containers, but as a T10 rewrard ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. May get a few T10 more over the event as a few are on reset + Thunderer may be bought during the event.

I got very lucky. 1. Ark royal + 10 p capt (good for the RN cruisers). So when I claimed the containers and returned to the open screen a supercontainer lied in wait (missing only 6 ships so it is a reroll). 2. 300 dub 3. 4 NY streamer 4. 2500 coal Considering I just could not bare to listen to the stream anymore with the "excuses" it at least make me a little less angry

With Gorizia you get missions which unlock silver T6 ships which can be used as credit boosts if you have them so the value in the ship is what it brings more than the ship itself. A port queen no more no less.

Well to be fair I can not hope to win against you in a CV so it does not matter what I choose , My choice if I would play is the greatest chance to win against average players

One thing that they could do is exchanging research points for steel to give more choice if they want more interest and money spending
