My take on it is Salem of those 2. Salem is very good in coop due to faster reload and excellent in solving missions dealing with citadels and fires. Not that Moskva can not citadel its guns are very strong but the coop meta with Moskvas railguns at range are less important than Salems DPM. Now one thing more, you have not stated your influx of coal or your FreeXP ships or your stock of FreeXP. Several FreeXP ships turn into coal in a short while so maybe check on how you will prio among those if there is ships among them you want. I have all FreeXP ships past or present so I am not quite sure of all that is still there but at least Friesland and Azuma + a few more are there. So plan how you will aquire those if there is one on your purchase list. @Schelfie I

One reason is regrinding ships. I have now on my regrind on RN battlecruisers, the early access got me nearly all without playing so now I start the old fashioned way for a new line from T3, a few games on each tier and now I am just finished with Queen Mary a fine looking vessel, and also famous for one thing apart from exploding in connection with the IJN Imperial Japanese Navy. Excellent idea, make her a T8 with MRB. For a sec specced RN BB some kind of N3 variant as they have 6 inch guns are better used I think. Or some Vickers design like the Atlantico.

I am regrinding the Vermont line for the second time in a row (getting all the captains to 21 in the process) and am now at Minnesota. Slow as hell but pretty good guns, wghich for me is a very important feature. One of the funniest games in a long time, we were down if I remember correctly several hundred points all caps and 5 vs 5 in ships more or less, but when the game was over we had sunk 4 out of 5 of the enemy and only lost one ourselves and capped two and the third was contested, when game was over we had the lead in points, a damn close fight and I imagine the enemy wondered how they lost as at least 3 out of four remaining ships were low on hp. I will thank many in my team that finished the game that played very well. With the help of 800 % Ship XP the sum is inflated but I managed to get the +175K damage and 2400 base XP tasks at the same time so very happy.

You know that there are missions for damage and ultrahigh xp, many kills etc. The Kraken often falls in the end of the match when victory maybe is assured but the achievement or that mission that rewards something for 5 kills is left. Why should you deny that? Next time it is you who suffers when I scuttle in front of you and I am the final ship to your reward.

Well as I collect the upgrades too and the only way is from RP it is at least in some demand. I also value the 2500 doubloons as less expensive due to that I bought them with coupon. But for someone who plays as much as I do the added containers after 40 are of value, as there is f.e. if you reach 15 stages quite a lot extra, if you on the other hand do not play much there is a different calculation. I also value time vs progress. The seasons bonus I disregard ofc. It is way too expensive. Only in time of much extra coal steel or maybe if you have a extreme number of RB resets that you will use that period. I bought it during the 6 week christmas period as it were a lot of snowflake income.

I play those tiers sometimes when I regrind. I have hardly touched my below 5 premiums even though i got Nikolai and K Albert, Cambeltown, vampire Yubari katori Mikasa, all ships that have something going for them. Mikasa for its looks f.e. I picked the coupon but I realize that I hardly need the doubloons as I bought some with my 30% Coupon la few days ago, and I will recieve (hopefully) the cash back coupon in a few months that should cover rest of the year. If the offer would jhave been on say 5.000 doubloons it would be OK: Now i will let the coupon pass.

I do not know what other products are offering to old players. my problem (I recieved the gift yesterday too) was that I usually recieves the gift in late october before the spending season, now I recieve the coupon after the spending season. I have changed the birthday to my real date also so later in the year. So the whole christmas went by. But I bought some doubloons for battle passes and T10 bonus packages so there is some outflow to account for. So what would I like,? Say a Special anniversary permacamo (New for each anniversary i.e. 2016, Model , 2017 Model etc + now after rework a T10 bonus package level but attachable to any ship tier. That would have been a nice addition regardless what fleet you have. 40 White camos is of creditvalue more or less only.

Somewaht late to the party, but i waited for the BP to finish for the 10 containers so I could get the final commander and answer that I have all commanders. Also My preparation and development of my coloured excelsheet of captains. Note Yes 1 10 p for Nebraska and the new hybrid line is not yet inserted. Other noteworthy things is that only a few 21 p have not been at 19 when the rework happened. Only two vermont and Clausewitz have been raised from ten by grind (König), the other blue more or less by Elite XP. But a few will come during the year while I still try to get most of the remaining old 19 p to 21. König is just started its third captain. I am planning on regrinding the RN Battlecruiser line a few times but the goal is maybe to get the two top ones to 21. I am in the process of multiregrind of the US DD line , only Fletcher by FreeXP to thet ship over and over again as I want Fletcher on 21 but the others I do not care much about. Will play through them the final time so I reach 14 on the tier 8. So that is my current plans for the near future, many of the newer lines will never get a 21 p. In the table non-tech tree captains are excluded also no reserve captains but these will effect the number of 10 p captains. Many of these are event captains like Gozilla or santa Claus captains, ARP captains. Highest outside is a 15 p Blys captain from the old days, will be used again on the new EU DD line.

It was 3 vs 3 when I started a few weeks after release, though it might have been different in Alpha/Beta. But you could division any ships so an Umikaze with Yamato. So sometimes it could be very weird teams. Kawachi vs Fuso was not fun. Kawachi with its poor gun range never got into range to fire a salvo.

The extra mission in the Special Premium Battle Pass should be more specified on how many points the extra mission could give f.e. 180 points like it was in the last pass (6x30)- This vital information should not be hidden. Besides it is damn important that the info is released before the update starts as the seasons bonuses are not retroactive, I do not want to wait over a weekend before the info is given and it still has not been answered in the thread under general discussion. Now to be serious - what is the reason for this delayed article - can we expect in the future better info when the update hits? Personally I do a calculation on how many steps beyond the threshold I can reach i.e. the after containers coal etc. That is a big and vital part in the procurement process, why do you withhold that info? I think sadly that it happens many times that info is 1-2 days late but now it is info that hardly can hurt your sales - it is rather the opposite that we abstain. So this update it was impossible to do an informed decision and for me = no buy of the seasons bonuses.

Well we shall not forget that you have a trained commander on 10 p for Nebraska, the value of that varies from player to player but if we have three ships fronm 8-10 and you are a new player or not have USN captains in reserve it is some value. And the credits for an equipped ship is of some value too but ofc worse than before. If we have looked how WOWS have been prizing tech tree ships before in various events they have always been overprized. Also premium versions of say Amagi with some fantasy camo that have been extremely overprized.

Agree. i can also think of credit starved players or players with a huge shortfall in eco bonuses like newer players might be tempted if they play a lot as if you pass beyond the required steps to reach the rewards you get some after rewards. F.e. during christmas I even whaled the season bonuses as they then gave the snowflakes extra value and I reached level 107 or maybe 108. So these excess boxes this patch are now less tempting for me. I honestly think that the Season bonuses are only interesting if you f.e. have saved a huge number of RB points or during snowflakes if you have a huge fleet. The premium battlepass for a player that reaches the rewards and somewhere beyond that maybe. I calculaae all prizes also on how much I have paid for the doubloons, if you have got them with 100% cashback and bought 50.000 doubloons, the actual prize is not that excessive while if you have paid full doubloon prize another matter. But in all these matters do not listen to superwhiners nor WOWS superfans, make a calculated estimate if you think it is worth it. I have a resaonable salary so I can set value on time differently than a student. If I have to work say an extra hour or accept three beers at afterwork instead of four how do you compare that to the extra steel, commander XP coal etc for no effort. While I agree that this pass is worse than the previous, one have to value them individually. I thought the first BP waa very good value, second fairly good and this one average for the doubloon value. I compare it to various bundles in events for maybe 1000 doubloons where you have say 3 out of 61 really good. I have sometimes use a few of these to reach next level or so in EA. But here you know what it is so here is at least in this patch no gamble. Compared to these loot bundles the BP is a reasonable idea IMO.

Yes, but the BPs are different, f.e. the Season bonus Premium last update had 150 FWB now it is 100, if you have a huge fleet with many high tier ships like myself I often do missions in coop with many different ships and so it was attractive to get maybe 10-15 FWB daily to spped up XP generation. So it is situational, I play around 75/25 Coop/random and ranked during weekdays and say 50/50 during weekends/free days so such things matters. So in general I use Premium pass but since the final reward is rather unappeling I will check and calculate if it is worth it in total. But season bonuses not this update.

I am not entirely sure what you are after, I play both coop and randoms and you ofc have the same BP all the patch in whatever gamemode? Which one you should buy if any depends on how you value the stuff and how much you play i.e. how far along the levels you will get. For players that play a lot the passes may be worth it also depending on how large their stock is in economic bonuses and/or their usage , how they value their time. Also if your doubloons are bought with say a 100% cashback. For me with a reasonable salary the calculation will be different than a student.

Remember though that the extra bonuses in the super BP also will not come retro and that WGs offer to make rewards accesible retro for the premium battlepass might be changed in the future, they have stated that somewhere so do not take todays possibility as granted, watch the fine print each new season (update).

Last year I recieved the gift at 1 st of January, as this was auto for those who had not changed. I went in and checked and that date had been removed so I changed to my real date which is later in spring, hope that works so check if you did not specify and had the default date , seems that it was removed.

Well I did reason like this. I had all ships, and over 12 M FreeXP. So I got around 43 M Credits= c:a 400.000 Elite XP (buying and dismissing captains) , 420000 Elite XP in the bundless. 45.000 Coal with 10 % Clan bonus = 4.500 Coal extra (I even have the BP so 2250 more). 10x4 blue boossters- + lower green + flags etc. So I think I changed my freexp , yes I know I can use them as captain XP too but now I get more things that I use, Yes I have to play some games, but I think I get more out of it of the things I get regardless. Maybe you should reconsider. I think it is a reaonable deal even for us with all ships, if we are swimming in FreeXP..
