Did put the random bundles in a excelsheet to see how many on average is needed (Free excluded which will lower the demands). On the other hand early access are probably something you want early in the event before the free to get max effect. As I am from Sweden I am biased in this event. And I have some doubloons to no particular use (have all premium ships in store. most T10s have Permacamos more than 500 days of premium so not too many alternatives sadly. Therefor my behaviour will be different. Now that does not mean I will go full lunatic but some paid bundles I will probably ge , especially as my Elite xp are limited,.need to build up captains in coop play as early as possible and I want to play my own countrys ships so eliting these captains by other more effective means is not valid. I hope i have done the maths correctly. Please do note that the average /bundle is heavily scewed because of the large spread between 20 and 250. Mean and median are totally different as the average is above 80 out of 92 bundles 67 vs that 80 has 60 or less. Please advice me on any miscalculations and I take no responsibility whatsover of influence on your desicion making. See snip from my excel. Average in right column means number of bundles needed on average but as I say the scewed numbers makes this figure questionable for 1 person.

Never sell premiums is the general advice otherwise you get them in Christmas Crates or Supercontainers especially not ships that you do not like. I have nearly all premiums , so I am sort of immune to Krazny Kryms etc as I havei it already - that is why I get good premums in crates.

well perhaps but if you as myself in the ,long run get a lot of permacamos both bought and through events your one-use premium stock will rise, if you do not spam them at least.

Personally I got the T5 and 6 for free boxes in pt2 , average seems to have been t5 and in event 2 you could plan to get a free at least OK Premium cruiser given its OK detection bloom (vs the ITA CAs) I think I might like her a lot, but I have only played 1 game in coop for tokens. The Cunningham is a strong captain and worth even a few boxes but I got i for free. A completely OK event IMO. Lootboxes construction bad as there seem to have been possivble to get same ship from paid vs fee boxes and as usual bad odds -64? to be guaranteed the ships = No thx. But easy to decide at least.

See answer above but today the 4th (and 9,14,19,24 and 29th) of month you have daily missions that adds 1000 FreeXP when you get the stage. Check your reward in port screen if you have had these bonuses, they are listed in the result screen after battle as well but you can use this method to see if the daily rewards have influenced your gains today and you have not checked/forgot the results screen.

Nothing played so No advancement , will try to reach R10 or so later in the season. First all excellent CV players must Rank out from the bottom ranks. Then I probably play Grozovoi a few games for the steel.

Yes it might seem so but it depends on the ship. If you have prem account and prem camos on T10 (salem f.e.) service cost is reduced quite a lot. It is also what ship copes well with coop bots. DDs do quite often as teh bots keep charging in (and generally it is 1 DD at each cap.) So playing DD smoke up hydro sink enemy DD (Yes in Friesland) then dakka on the rest = profit , boring but profit/hour ofc without any prem consumables or flags are OK. Think a few such games daily, as warming up or when you eat/before work. I play coop every day for the missions, a few games in the morning and as warm up in the evening + finish evening session (on workdays). The BBs are sometimes less consisten, if you have a map like the North where the mountains are an obstacle for you (bad in coop, when you have sunk your opponent) you might be out of targets before game ends. If your DD in front of you dakkas the enemy counterpart, you might fire on the cruiser then the DD rushes and 1 shots the enemy BB your reward as a BB wil be poor, as teh game might be over after this. Better to be the DD, in random it is a different matter. Ideal is to have a ship that you enjoy to play. I will go for Jean Bart probably if i were you, but if you are interested in the new Swedish (Pan-EU) DD line Friesland can help you a lot even if the skills are not that syncronized (no torps on Friesland but who cares in coop). You do have a few T10 FreeXP DDs incoming that probably will tax your funds a lot, Probably in the region of 1,3 to 1,5 M FreeXP.

But you run into a serious problem with MM, a t5 or T6 boat will face Tier 7 and 8 lots of fights. How do you solve the enormous gap in CE f.e. when the CE module exists on T8 leaving the T6 ships f.e. at a further disadvantage. Sure I am a veteran but should that not give advantage. Nothing stops you or others from training your captains. You just have to put in same effort. If you for some reason should have restrictions they should focus on battle tier not ship tier, however I would not have such a thing either. Many historic ships exists at T5 and 6 and there are IMO the most fun gameplay also T7 and 8 (battletiers). Furthemore some of the compact maps on low tiers are very fun to play likewise the ships. On a DD you have fast reload on your torps compact maps etc they are fun to play simply. And I think it is sad that my iconic Dreadnought ship almost never are used. I may look on it a few times in harbour - ohh did I have that ship. But I never play her. I played plenty of lower tier early in my career but now only in regrinds, That problem WG solved by putting all missions at T5 or above. But even so in a Research bureau regrind even if you play the regrinds the number of games are a handful per line until you reach T5 so there hardly is a problem for that. As long as new lines are added there is no time to play lower tiers, except from playing so you get up to T4 but that is also just a few games. Yes I save FreexP for ships and stock build and such but now with 2 FreeXP T10 ships on its way I do have to hoard, have only 2,1 M and while it is enough for 1 it is not enough for 2. CV Sealclubbing just put a hardcap on 2 at all times. They will simply ran out of cue (passing 5 minutes). You can even restrict them so they can not face T3 ships i.e. T3 ships can get into battle tier 4 only if there is no CVs or by fail div. with a T4 to Battletier 5, last case being subject to Cvs..

Gnirf and French DDs is not always the best bet for success. This fight Le Fantasque , bottom tier with CV. I have endured two months of coop which this ship as I simply have had no success with FR DDs, well getting tired of coop and first game in random for a long time , have 2 losses before so third game. Happy with the result. I had good team support also from the CV otherwise it had not been possible. 2500+ is very good for me, reflecting the MM.

I think Devonshire is OK middle of the pack, the heal helps a lot good fire chance etc, it is like every poster have forgotten the life of a T5/6 cruisers.

I do not really see the problem as you only need 4 tasks done. rest is purely optional. It is the tokens that matters.

According to Dev blog it seems that it is possible to have early access from T5-T9! but it is Devblog so who knows, but you will know that when you made the decision at least. Yes I have Bly at 14-15 I think, Friesland at 8 and counting, VU at 11 but I want Swedish names on Swedish ships. But i may use the Polish special on Halland and then transfer when Polish silver ships arrive. I take the doubloon fee for transfer in this case.

Not in my book I want all Swedish ships but as they will even be lots of them in early access without RNG according to Dev blog I would not recommend that move. My eliteXP on the other hand will take a nosedive as I do not have any Swedish captains in store.

I have reset 7. 3 times IJN BBs, 1 FR BB, 1 US BB, 1 RU BB and 1 IJN Gunboat DDs. Last one is on T9 rest is finished. Well I did the first IJN US FR BB rather quick, then reset IJN BB again together with the DDs. Were quickly finished with the IJN BBs agian and reset those for a third time + RU BBs. The IJN DDs were deliberately played slowly with less falgs etc and more in coop. I have played them all every tier , FreeXPing stock mostly, but playing the rest. It has been quite taxing on credits thats why I slowed down, but the PR event were not suited for RB grinding. Will reset a few more after next double points reset. But then new content ships LU etc will determine how much. Bought Ohio first and after I finish the IJN DDs I am at 38000. I have grinded up a lot of captains during these resets to 19, f.e. have all IJN BBs from T6+ as 19 p now.

The well deserved kill.... Our DD and bot DD torp each other ours were lost 11 left on the enemy.... Embarrasing ...do not think I have had a lower dmg result on screen after 1 kill , but later in the game it was different ofc. It is a little fun though

True, but your sober status will prevail then. Not that I belong always to the sober category on Fridays and Saturday evenings. I have often very long sessions (interrupted) on saturdays and sundays where I play large parts of the day and naturally concentration and fatigue will play a role in some games. I therefor mix coop and random, so I can grind lines, missions and captains with less concentration. Those few times I play ranked I tend to do it when I am not too far in a gaming session and for only some games in a row, regardless of result.

Blys was one of my first Premium ships and back then with probably only IJN and US DDs I find herjhaving a own niche.As this was the age before accumulating Elite XP and inflation in flags I grinded her captain painfully to 14 pts. However in those days I think the captain points even in higher tiers were more kind as the number of player distribution of veterans etc were more even. Noone could afford to have good captains on all ships, and the nonexistence of elite xp meant you have to grind. My games are most from that old period. I have taken her out very seldom not that I find her boring or bad but i grind new ships. The tech tree Swedish DDs will make me play the ship more in coop together with Friesland. I do not play ships without 10 p captains in random anymore except the lowest tiers or by mistake. I have no EU captains in store and as a Swede I do not want to use Dutch, A_H, or Polish captain names assigned to Swedish ships. So My captains on V-U, Friesland and Blys will stay as they are until Silver lines will come. But I will use them as training ships in coop. If you will follow my example or are a collector with nothing to spend on, well I will not say she is a bad ship, average sort of. But as other said she needs a good captain. But as the 3 steel ships are returning to the game in the future, not earlier than 6 months , from their pull back and maybe distributed from time to time. Think a little overall on the alternatives, French DD for coal, 3 steel ships the other coal ships, there are plenty to spend on now and in the future. But the new Pan -EU tech tree has ofc increased her attractiveness, Friesland has no torps so Blys aligns in that sense more with the Swedish (+1 A_H) DDs. I am counting on more DD lines presumably Dutch alone or together wilh Poland, so as a long term strategic captain retrainer why not?

2 st from the maximum 30? Crates, Hawkins and Devonshire in that order. No doubloon bought (no ship showed in the first crate). It is alright and I have got some in all early access activities but in some I have bought for money to stock up special flags. Not this time. 1/16 is very poor and that it also not counted vs the free crates. So that I decided against the beginning. If the first would have been a ship I would have waited until all free tokens was spent (well maybe not if would have been the T8). When lootboxes arrive together with the (Pan European) Swedish DDs I would have no resistance sadly if there are better odds than the RN. Can not pay that enourmous sum 65000 doubloons, but say if it was around 20000 combined with special flags? But I have no hopes for that..

To be fair even though I understand the disappointment from some of the converison for some older ships for steel, for me as a collector i am pleased. I think it is better to say exclusivity access for a period (say two years). The newer steel ships are extremely expensive and I personally without a working clan for CBs are left to ranked, meaning a steel ship maybe 1 in two years. I think that most players that will get these ships are collectors and they will probably have a hefty prize. It is not like they are easy to get. I have more or less maximum coal inflow from playing and I just keep pace. Getting 3 Coal ships together with the French DD will probably even if they are released starve me completely for the next year or so. I understand WG here as the newer steel ships are those that will be bought by me. One sad thing is that mid prize range steel ships are so few and now disappears completely. I also am somewhat surprised that RB points are not convertible to a small amount of steel of some expensive rate.

Yes and if you have Missouri chances are way higher that this ship is removed instead of your Genova!
