  1. You have always more players during winter.
  2. Yes but the comparison is using credits only not doubloons at all, so I frankly do not understand your comment. It is cheaper using the buying and dismissing method for credits than buying vouchers for credits which you use for 3.750 Elite XP /voucher
  3. I answered yes, but I feel really disappointed about the exchange rates. But I have 1M Coal and no ship (including the FreeXP ships) to buy and as I buy the Premium BP the monthly coal increase is such that I will take the Tashkent, but it is damn expensive. Nothing else is interesting, they are simply to bad. The interesting exchange rates would have been converting various resources to steel and RB points, the you might even consider quite bad exchange rates if we use 1000 Steel = 15000 Coal. Let us say that it was 50.000 Coal to 1000 steel I might have consider some steel. The FreeXP bundles where you the first time exchanged vs 3 ships and other things and now recently against signals at least were offers in a region where you might consider them, the first one I bought every bundle for FreeXP but I ignored this last one except for a few ones.
  4. Why did you not use the buying and dismissing 6pointers tactic, it is cheaper, I have tried to mention it many times on the forum. Now you pay 1.125.000 for 3750 Elite XP instead of 900000+92500=992.500 for 9250 Elite XP a 3x better offer. I am really sorry that noone posted this earlier, hope I can save some other forumites.
  5. Thought it might be advisable to push for the 300 doubloon offer for a 10-point captain. Especially when we now have some new tech trees coming in lines where you do not have so much in reserve (EU DD line 2 , Spanish cruisers. Bought 7 Spanish 10 pointers myself as a collector. Normally one plays up a captain, and there may not be so many good offers but this 80% discount even for me as a veteran player is quite alright. So there is a always room maybe for captains if you want to buy a captain for a lower tier ship that you enjoy. One does not have to give money to WG, but sometimes the investment vs time is attractive IMO. Note that is only valid during the golden week so only practically until thursday.
  6. If you are a collector like me, and want to keep all the ships in the trees, T1-10 the captains given in a early access on the 10 p level are maybe 1-2. I have as a goal to have on every ship a 10p captain. On new trees you are often short. Yes I know about that offer which I used, but that is only one/country and not on Spanish ships. And sure you can use Elite XP but it may take time or your elite XP stock might be limited. I just see the prize vs effort. You might do another calculation, I buy and dismiss 6p captains for credits now and then so I know that way too. But say going from a 6p captain (for credits) to a 10 pointer takes a while. The prize of one beer or so for my purchase of 7 Spanish and 1 LA captain is therefor OK IMO. I do my math , you do yours I have no problem with that you have a different approach, but to some especially newer players this offer is attractive, hence the heads-up. It is a little like upgrades for 50% credits, while some does not care, the value is there for many, especially if you buy for many ships or for non premium players that are low on credits.

    2 days until

I grind my Fletcher captain to 21 so I reset the US DDs and FreeXP until Fletcher then play through that ship, that way you take away a very large chunk of the FreeXP needed. I think one has to accept that there are more options than just FreeXP through every ship. When I reach 21 p for Fletcher I will play through most of the DDs. I am on my third reset now and will probably have to do 2-3 more.
  8. Given the amount of coal Super Containers you get more coal if you have SCdrops so you are wrong in your opinion on paper. You get 15.000 Coal in a SC.
  9. For me as collector, I usually wait until christmas, but last time I bought one that stood out was Hyuga with the reload boosters, even whaled the premium pack to get thatl laquer camo, something I almost never do otherwise. I think Constellation wre around that same period , that one was less spectacular but nevertheless some real change from the normal US battleships and I have always been fascinated of the scrapped battlecrusier projects of WNT. We have several now, Kii, Amagi, Constellation, Duncan/S:t Vincent. If one of the latter had been released before the RN battlecruisers I would have bought that as well when released. It was more important earlier to buy directly because of the no-nerf status, i bought GC and Belfast first/second day or so. Now of future ships there are not many that are instabuys and that I could not wait until the christmas boxes, but one does not know , Kitikami?
  10. The same discussion is on the NA-forum, there contact is made with staff at least so let us see what happens. But probably nothing. The only thing to counter this that you can do as a player, always try to have some blue (or red boosters) in stock. I will never go below a certain threshold in order to counter these missions with relative ease, so never waste high end boosters until you have to if you are short on them.
  11. OP , You should have it easier if you play with lesser skilled pleyerbase. Some of the bad accounts might be museum accounts or similar and might indeed be more frequent on weekends, but they are probably very few. Besides WOWs need new players. The road to reasonable play is longer today than in the beginning as there are more mechanics to learn and way more ship stats to remember. When the game started with IJN and US ships there were not many ship ststs to remember and if you have played continusly you learned I tree at a time, if you start now there is a huge number. I also wonder how large amount of the playerbase really are into stats and also feels the difference, if you play say for a 1 hour daily, say 3-4 random games, i hardly think that you feel it much diffrent if you ar are a 45% player or a 48 % player at least if you are capable of damagefarming.
  12. Hello, I am clan leader now. Our previous clanleader left and after the clan base rework when you got the oil in return I contacted the support as our leader had been absent around two years I think, did that after discussion with a few other members so wrote to support stating that I wanted control as reason stated that he had left, oil just piled up and that I had the most oil collected, the 2nd most oil collecting player got the deputy commander post (this maybe was done by me though, can not remember). There were no problems with tranfer at that time at least, but it is some years ago.

    Submarine win rates

You mean if we take ships weighted vs matches played. Are the numbers includin players with closed stats, if these are not included that makes sense that WR is not 50%
  14. I would not mind a IJN T9 Destroyer as a dockyard as this class is quite neglected. Also RN T9 DD would be nice.

    Future of CO-OP

Well German DDs have reasonable reload which is good in coop. Regardless DD type, I just close in and do torps on practically point blank range, I see several players that do not do this but the German DDS allow you to put fish in the water early then smoke up and get the torps back on line reasonably fast. I admit that I get a few bad games the risk of detonation or enemy torp hits are higher but you will get more damage /results on average. Many other ships are not that good. Take f.e. French Kleber excellent reload on their torps one of the best Coop DDs in game while the Marceau have too slo reload, it even happens that the first set are not ready, the 2nd set almost never so Marceau is decidely worse than Kleber.
  16. Yes, the coal stash are above 900 K with nothing to buy.

    Future of CO-OP

Regardless of enemy team size think of that teams do not always are 9 humans vs 9 bots, it is not easy to win when you are two humans and rest is bots, they tend to kill each other but I have been down to 1 vs 6 or so when the AI bots have killed off the "human" sides bots.

    Hamster died?

Seems like a reasonable translation. i am a illitirate in PCs just have observed that this is an indicator. If I do not get logged in in say a minute or so, I just check here and if its high I just restart and it almost works everytime.

    Hamster died?

I have Swedish windows, but when you are in such a starting loop just go ctrl alt del and check on the activity table, you will have high readings on the two right columns on World of warships - then you never get in - that is the indication that you have to restart the computer

    Hamster died?

Do not have other games installed so do not know But it happens one every two/three days
  21. Gnirf

    Hamster died?

I often just restart the computer and then it mostly works
  22. The illusive Solo Warrior first one in several years. (5th overall). Skill is ofc not included, simply we had large points lead, enemy had for ships left including hybrid and radar ships so it was off to best corner and wait. Say one minute more and I would have been sunk or overtaken in points. Against a hybrid and radar it feels so hopeless as you will never be able to yolo if the points would have been little different. I do not play subs and CVs very little so I guess those players get it more often,
  23. Well this is what is the main nerf. I have 70+ T10 and increasing so it is the anniversary that is the main source, so even if I somehow would accept twice as many for half rewards it is the nerf to anniversary that strikes hard. Some of the changes like RB points or Elite Commander XP is per se not bad so some adjustments in content are OK but not these. I am not surprised at all. I would rather accept lower drop rate in return for better rewards - make supercontainers great again- oh have 50 grey FXP boosters - Snarrrrrkkkkkk

Star ships special - offer breakdown

Thx @Ubertron_X for the summary. i guess that WG now tries the cheap lottery system to hope that I play a few kind of. Nevertheless i guess aT9 Kitakaze may have some merit if you are using Kitakaze in ranked and want to reset the DD line for the RB. Also the blue boosters are useful. But as it is no top draw for me I abstain. If you are calculating for the smaller eco bonus draws I might be tempting to compare with the despised extra premium battle Pass, twelve extra stages and this 36 extra conatiners 12000 coal and the seasons bonuses while small nevertheless are equal to some economic bonuses. This providing that you takes this draw to fill up your bonus reserves are something that is not to be forgotten. It is 9-10 season bonuses. If we calculate on 9 it is 12x3x9=324 blue boosters and 12x9=108.000 Coal. Added to that 108 Signals and 108 common bonus containers. So how we value the ships? Not according to WG scheme , the T9s are simply too expensive. Yes it may give better cash, but I have nearly all T9s anyway Nevertheless some may find the ships interesting, for players with a smaller fleet of premiums it may be even attractive, the good IJN premiums are not on offer. (HSF Harekaze v 1).
  25. but i guess that you moved around a little and yhat is enough, you had two spots also so I guess the threshold is that something is done at least. Nevertheless this can naturally be exploited but will it be common? But if they want they should be able to detect such players via programs i.e. if you have more than a few games of that magnitude they will be stricken. That is to allow for a game where you learning the craft. I have not played subs yet , hate them with a passion but nevertheless someday I might try them on principle, have the tech trees ones all it is FREEXP only and the snowflakes you do not have to play them to get (Thx for that WG).
