WG wanted people to register their birthdays and so in order to promote such campaign they decided to start annual birthday gifts ('cuz we all know nobody would give a rat's without something in return) and if they gave their info, in return they have every right to expect their gifts in time. Problem is not that it's free or not, problem is they are avoiding their promise with technical problem [edited]. Not to mention it only affects EU players. With the current CIS to EU transfers and dockyard event it's kinda obvious why they do this and it's shady as fk.

They literally sell you pixelated ship (which will worth nothing when server goes down) for tons of money no matter if you refund the rest or not. They press some buttons and there's your imaginary ship. So... They lose "literally" nothing at all.

Not really. Even if you do good you get reported by those who got killed. There are tons of salty people in this game and not that I really care about karma but I'd say it's 90% reports against 10% compliments and that's from my experience. I got once killed 8 guys with a Yamato and saved the day for my team by turning the tides and still lost 7 karma (9 reports, 2 compliments). So... I disagree.
