HartfordSSN Be factually accurate I asked why I was attacked not being bullied, just a curious question. cherry2blost Exactly you would go after strategic targets of importance not a bottom end tier ship as a priority.

Fair enough, just seems to feel like repeatedly a shell magnet in some games, when you far back, full health and not an easy target i.e.e other ships weaker / easier.

Cant remember battleship but might have been. Makes an element of sense, however withe the resources they put into destroying me, they could have easily crippled the battleship and cruiser and escaped and scored more points, turned the game and not be sunk.

Profilus I was in a tier 4 french cruiser, following a tier 5 french cruiser and a tier 5 battleship, I had about half health, while other cruiser had a little more and was in close proximity to battleship. Carriers were about tier 5, saw enemy raid come in, had multiple torpedos fired and bombs dropped with no ability to outmanoeuvre so was sunk. A couple of minutes later the two carriers were decimated by the ships I was following as they were the closest ships and were already firing away.

So you would prioritise an all out assault with two carriers against a weak cruiser, over attacking two enemy ships that are right on your doorstep who would kill you? Most players would knock out the nearest threat instead of attacking a ship further away that is no threat than get sunk afterwards as they did not deal with the immediate threat.

"You know people deliberately sink own teammates for some retarded reason and you're wondering if they'd do that if the guy they want to sink is on the red team? Is that really the question you're raising?" Kind of but I mean sometimes you get people in a team who say attack a team member for no reason. Now I am wondering if when on opposite teams do they instruct the whole team to do the same thing, out of some revenge / pettiness instead of actually playing the game and tying to win.

Sorry let me try that again, I am floating the question do people in opposing teams sometimes hold a grudge hence focus on a player out of spite? In some matches you do get players wanting to team kill others on your own team few and far between I admit, so I wonder does this also extend when said players are on opposite teams?

No I have said if it is happening because of some grudge. As i have said there have been cases on chat where team members said to team kill one of their own etc.

"Are you so famous/infamous that name-focusing should even be considered as an explanation?" I set up the forum to ask the question that is all, hence asking for peoples views. "Do you have any proof or evidence suggesting that people actually focus other players for personal reasons since you are so dead set on this?" As said earlier on some matches I have read team members on the same team argue that one of them should be team killed for no explanation.

"Hahaha. Crickey. The whole point of targeting the cruiser, is because its a cruiser and you are a battleship. If you can aim and the angle is right, its probably an easy kill in just a couple of salvo's (maybe one). That gives your team a numerical and points advantage." I was referring to CV's " How do you hold a grudge against a player in WoWs? Do you remember who you played with/against? How often do you get the same people in successive random battles?" Sometimes you do, occasionally in chat had people say attack a friendly because of a previous battle,

Your missing the point slightly, nothing wrong with doing it where it is valid, for tactical reasons. Doing it because you may not like the player is when it is pathetic / childish. This is where the question was raised sometimes are people doing it because they hold a grudge against a particular player?

Well in this particular game, the BB and cruiser was right on top of them, and the cruiser was further away. Just seemed as the though the fire was deliberately focused on that particular ship for no reason rather than a practical reason i.e. in range, threat etc. So hence why I wonder is it players having a grudge / bullying tactics.

I will add that the BB / cruisers have limited AA fire also.

And yes the question has been asked with no reply from players on several occasions.

Not necessarily a battleship by itself but let me give you a scenario. A cruiser is with other battleships and cruisers heading towards the enemy, it is further behind, allied vessels are in range of two enemy carriers, enemy carriers deploy all air wings against cruiser outside firing range and ignore enemy battleship and cruiser inside firing range only to end up loosing the battle. While in reality logical players would focus on enemy on their doorstep, to cause damage / make them change direction so you can get out.
