The headline is rather self explanatory, i would like to achieve this weekly project-r mission but as i found out last week i have never gotten more than 1275 xp in a single round. What is my misstake? I sometimes see other players reach this level with only two or three killed enemies and me myself have a tendency to get into the top spot fairly regulary. But usually with 1100-something experience. Scoring more hits and achieving many citadels should be the way to success but even when i had a really good game last night in my tier V Kongo i only managed 1223 xp with 82k dealt damage, 7 citadels, 3 sunk enemies, 27 hits and 4 shot down planes. Is this a normal top level for a player after 340 games or do i have to up my skill? These 1300, 1600 and 1800 missions are annoying me, i know the event will end shortly but i would at least want to get one of them out of the way to calm my nerves...

Random battles only off course! That's some handy information in there, i did know actual kills doesnt matter very much but the part about %-damage to a ship mattering this much were new to me. My kuma suddently makes alot more to sense to use against destroyers more actively. Thanks, ill have a look at that link. All very interesting, ill try to act more like that. But, no the Kongo was more of a an example. I also have a Wyoming, a St Louis and a Kuma im confident to do well in but nothing above tier V. Thanks everyone for the good answers. Just one last question, if you have premium is the 1,5 higher experience points counted as base or not? If it is my 1223 xp Kongo game would had achieved the 1800 xp mission.
