She's a Good ship for her tier but certainly not OP IMO. She should have been put at tier6 with smoke and that way she would have played a lot like her RNL counterparts and truly shined... Instead Wg in true WG fashion decided to give a Rnl cruiser no smoke and He so actually she plays nothing like an Rnl Cruiser. Which is really frustrating and disappointing if you like that line. I find her 203mm AP gives me as many Over pens as it does hits against enemy cruisers which makes you wonder why she was given 203mm in the first place (should have kept with the 155 mm and have a shorter reload imo) However 203 mm HE against enemy DD's can be very funny to watch and a descent aimed salvo leaves most DD's wondering wtf just happened.? In short she can be powerful in the right situation but due to her paper thin armour and no smoke, if she runs into BB's she tends to not last long. A bit of a mash up if you ask me and Proof that Wg look at figures on paper instead of actually playing the game and designing something through experience.

I joked about this the other day calling it the "Auto compensation factor" Now, Not that we want to start any conspiracy theory's or anything but.... (this thread will be locked in 5, 4 3,.....)

I know right , 2 points that drive people AWAY or make the game less enjoyable. How does this benefit anyone in the long run ?

you know its taken me a while to learn the calibre to plating/armour calculation, who I can pen, who I cant pen when im in what ship etc. Now I've got to learn this all over again? Realy? As a cruiser main im like....wtf? Why was this needed on such a large scale? Why was it needed at all? Your right and your right...Ive noticed this happening more and more....censorship, control and lack of freedom of speech seems to be on the increase in this game. Put the above together and im seriously wondering whether this game is for me these days. Next they'll be screwing with premium ships that you've actually paid money for.... Oh wait...

Mate I could not agree more. I see no reason Why they need to do this on such a large scale. Its taken me ages to learn the guns to armour ratio properly, who I can pen in what and who I cant pen Etc. Now I've got to learn this all over again? Hel no. I've been considering about dropping this game recently...I really think this might push me over the edge and I just end up uninstalling....

Random's for me. Some competent players of late that actually communicate for a change. Ranked is just a mess. Different tiers and mode's all the time, no consistency. Don't even mention the last ranked with rental tier X's.

OK mate sounds like you have some curupted files since patch or re instalation tbh and if you have updated all drivers( Inc sound if using separate sound card) wich you have then I would suggest the following : Un install from steam and download game strait from wg. This will give you the wg game centre where you can in future check and repair any corupt files wich you currently do not have the option of. This may also provide a more stable install. I'm not saying it's steams fault but by using a 3rd party you increase your chances of missing files if there is an issue with the 3rd party network. Install the normal client rather than the HD one as well as standard sound rather than ultra...you can always upgrade later if you find that this has worked for you. Good luck let me know if you have any improvement. Wolf.

Ok..... Outright...maybe not. Implied? Absolutely Premium ships are not about insuring wins or a P2W aspect in wows. They are about offering something different and individual rather than the same silver line equivalent. They have trade off's often not very good ones IMO. A good player knows how to use the advantages of a premium ship exactly the same as they now how to use the advantages of a silver/Non premium ship... Belfast was removed Because it was supposed to reflect the introduction of Radar in WW2 but having realised it was completely Unbalanced at tier7 it was promptly removed.....Instead it was dangled like a Golden carrot in the Christmas crates ensuring that some people spent obscene amounts of money trying to get it ......amongst other promises of premiums.... Do you have the WG game centre when you play this game through Steam? If you do, use the "check and repair" under game settings on the game centre. If this does not work a re install as @illy said will see you right.

Strong HE as well as good AP ...How the hell is this a bad thing ? Strong heal as well as a super heal on some premium ships (Nelson) problem sounds like its coming from behind the keyboard not with the line tbh.....

..lets say im in a CL or DD defending your push and I have smoke..... 1. If your 10k from smoke in a BB you deserve to be farmed or torped....(preferably both if I have the range) 2. If im farming you it means im firing pretty regularly exposing my position in said smoke.....So get better at aiming in smoke.... 3. Those couple of shells you mention that you nailed can send me back to port (and have done when facing a good player)....OR ADLEAST MAKE ME STOP FIRING. As @Ze_Reckless and others have said you are handling this particular situation all wrong and blaming others and external factors for it.

Oh Thank god....I saw this as well the other day, a kind of green flicker too which I took to mean my graphics card was on the way out.... for a while there I was sh*&ing myself...... (Just had to pay for a new clutch last week, cant do a new graphics card as well)

Check and repair option can sometimes help under game settings on game centre. Otherwise a good old re install usually clears it up. Ridiculous that we need to do any of this in the first place but hey....WG...

I clicked on a video in the news, Cancelled it then clicked all read and it seems to have sorted it for me. No issues since.
