    True- Alpha stike/damage is great...But that's it, Literally. 30kts top speed and the manoeuvrability worse than some BB's makes it a struggle to disengage from anything. Light cruiser...please.

    Agreed... Preferable to no heal at all.. I don't believe Heal repairs citadel damage. Only fires and flooding. Correct me if I'm wrong.... Yes me too... Her AP needs buffing at longer ranges as it looses a lot of its pep above 9-10k infact it becomes downright useless...BUT under those distances on a broadside cruiser its a ok. Heal is better than having no heal period. One of the most fun Cruisers I have played so far and probably one of the most overlooked IMO The Nueve DE Julio Needs a Manoeuvrability Buff as it literally handles like a BB and for a light cruiser at tier VII its max speed is woeful at 30 kts. However , messing with premiums is never Usually a popular choice.

    Not that I have noticed. Targeting DD's firing in smoke as usual yesterday.
  8. if I Remember correctly ...at the start of the year there were a lot of complaints about BB's ability to take out cruisers with a single salvo and the usual BB's are op just because people were stupid enough to sail broadside to one, After one of the patches Everybody started complaining about the amount of overpens suddenly appearing on Broadside targets and that now you had to aim at angles to citadel more ?? Coincidence? Tin foil? Wg concept of balance?

    Thanks for posting that replay. Just my thoughts on this one and please don't take this the wrong way... Your Mentality is your enemy here IMO.... Mate you need to stop rushing everything. Your aim is really rushed, (your just aiming at the ship, not aiming at somewhere on the ship) Your afk for the first 2 mins (Seriously?) and then have to RUSH to get into position, that rush then goes on for the hole game. You had that ship at literally Max speed throughout constantly firing....and missing a lot of shots that could have had more impact. I just get this feeling from how long you have been playing (and from what I see in your replays) you've racked up 5667 battles which is nearly 12 games a day in just 1 year and 5 months if you play every day, If you don't then your playing even more in a day. You obviously have time on your hands so I just think you need to slow down mate and use the time more wisely. Actually THINK about what your about to do and WHY your doing it. ITS NOT A RACE. Near the end of the game you chose to go south and engage targets that were outnumbering you with no support , instead of staying north with two others and finishing of the lion and Fiji which were more of a threat to your base. Your clearly an aggressive player but as is said , speed is nothing without control. With the amount of Battles you have played you should know most of these maps by heart now, position is key. If your running around like a nutter trying to wipe everything of the face of the earth your going to make mistakes, more than normal Im afraid. Anyway not a bad performance by any means mate, just that last decision to go south. Slow down a bit, take your time on the decision making progress Ps. How many HE rounds did you fire (from main) that game? Now ask your self why?

    Have you cleared your Cache under profile in Wows folder. this eats up memory if left to pile up to long....
  11. Hi, Thought I would post these for those of you that haven't had a chance to see these yet. Looks like Wg is trying to do something similar to the British line IE. make them unique and a different style of game play which personally im all up for. No HE ladies and Gents instead we have SAP (semi armour piercing) and a moving smoke generator similar to the Perth but faster as it can be deployed at full speed and still conceal the ship?!!     Sounds like there is work to do on these lines yet.. I mean It sounds very much from the info supplied so far, like SAP is effective only when curtain situations arise and you need to capitalise on these moments for you to reap the rewards....so why give these such a long reload time?...its like shooting yourself in the foot. Perhaps a re-load booster module would be appropriate if made available. And 10% damage with that reload time against DD's.. come on. But obviously blessed with good range these were not designed to be played aggressively which is a little disappointing IMO.

    T10 must play with T10. End of the story.

    Tier8 v 10 is always a bit of a nasty surprise depending on where you are in the MM order but you learn to deal with it. you just have to play more of a supporting role and be smart if low or bottom tier. I find Tier 8 goes tits up when the server is busy but have no data to support this. just an observation.

    I really don't think it matters mate. Its got 15 guns, above good balistics and ridiculously trollish armour by the looks of it.
  16. Strange...I had the opposite. Fps Increase. Was going to offer this as an explanation for OP as to why the feel of the game is quicker....since update/patch... Have you noticed an increase in FPS? Before you went away what was the fps? and now?

    Interesting....Does it allow you to equip IFHE? If so does it not increase the pen as above in video? And is this a bug as well? Must be surely?

    could do I suppose but those citadels are so exposed and the armour so weak that if you end up too close and making a run after deploying torps your not going to last long without the smoke you've just used...the cool down is VERY long. 2min 50 sec reload on the tier 7 I believe Gunna need to use this new smoke wisely me thinks....

    Makes sense...Oh talking of IFHE.... Apparently You can spec IFHE on the SAP rounds and that changes the 54mm Pen value to 72 MM I believe....Flamu tested it yesterday? Not sure that's going to make it into the final product though, shame

    yeah just saw this too... Looks as if there are looking to compensate from the lack of fire damage racking up over time with just consistent and fairly high damage per salvo but no cits with this New ammo type? Normal AP seems to do cit damage ok... Hows that smoke mechanic working out.? Looks promising from this video. And whats with the only 10% damage to DD's when using the new SAP about?

    I was wondering this. Being that the Italian line will be so different to the existing Italian premium ships, I was thinking that by the end they will be a million miles away from them in play style as they will have 1. totally different ballistics 2. No smoke Surely they would contemplate bringing these in line eventually to match the rest?

    I think that's the idea....those citadels being so exposed if you do a runner from a hot situation your gunna need cover lol Ballistics seem quite good, high velocity with little to no drag although as he said not sure when and how effective the new SAP will be .....And very quick speed like 35+ kts - in principle I like what I see so far.
