    Lol doesn't surprise me....its uncanny in wows that most but not all, but most of my best games in Damage are nearly always losses.

    PLEASE unify the consumables hotkeys

    This has been a long time coming IMO and does influence games when you go to deploy smoke and get something else instead or visa versa. Fustrating, confusing and can get you back to port unintentionally at times especially when up tiered. 26 letters in the alphabet and 11 consumables. I mean give me control over my keys/bindings and id be set in 5 mins. Problem solved.

    Yes and no. If a ship was already strong but say not op and then that line power creeps due to meta changes or additional mechanics or a change in mechanics...does it just become really really, really really strong or just plain OP?

    Kind of depends what your in though pete. We all know power creep is a real thing in this game. Look at the radar meta in this game now for example.....the difference of ship capability @ tiers 8 -10 is getting wider IMO.... We will see how tier 8 cruisers fair against "Venezia" when she arrives...

    Interesting mentality....you come to the game admitting that you care not whether you win or loose....and then subsequently blame it on the game design on the very next line?!! By admission you sir are part of the problem of this games current state.... As @mtm78 said this mentality belongs in co op....

    Well as part of a Profit making business strategy I would say that WG decided to release subs because all of the potential increase in player base by introducing yet another line into the game. Therefore by pure numbers...more money. However it remains to be seen if the same amount leave that arrives. I doubt it. That's some impressive free xp usage there. Exactly why WG need to stop this kind of loophole. Its like implementing a virus into your own game ffs
  11. I wouldn't mind this. I never understand all the complaints about longer wait times in regards to better MM management or in this case perhaps some control over the choice of environment. Plus as you said a bonus for WG too. Free research.

    See this a lot. Classic example of no idea of their roll in the game. But that's Wg fault because they make no effort to instil the correct "Mindset" of individual classes and their specific roll in the game.

    Amen... I'm actually giving this game a serious break atm because the core of this game is about ships supporting other classes. Its how this game was designed to work. But WG decided to create a monster in their BB player base because they saw it as a quick way to earn money by pushing everyone (the larger player base) to tier x ASAP earning tons of cash on the way but not instilling any discipline or designing any campaigns/tasks to ensure that that aspect (supporting role's) above all must be kept or the game falls apart....its all designed around an individual basis these days rather than a team one. which is why clans work and random is an absolute ses pit of incompetence. How hard could it be to introduce though? Loose your DD's in the first 5 mins of the battle receive a penalty in points for the team . Same for cruisers. I rarely see anyone supporting DD's these days and BB stay at the back or island hug not supporting cruisers....who seem to be continuously dumped on by any changes in the meta WG deside to implement on a whim. hence the crap we have now. Its just a mess atm and I've lost all interest.

    Cruiser Question

    Good advice from principat121 regarding skill and upgrades, regarding the Us split of lines: You have Light cruisers and heavy cruisers, Light cruisers are very manoeuvrable short reload time and 152mm guns, but squishy as hell. Good for getting places fast eg supporting DD or defend a push and disengaging fast if it gets to hot. Heavy cruisers are a little more robust with slightly (only 2mm) thicker armour plating wich can work a little better when angling but not much. Bigger guns at 203mm but longer reload. Basically heavy cruisers can get away with a bit more of an aggressive play style but you don't want to be engaging multiple enemies in either TBH as BB's still have a tendency to take out cruisers way to easily imo..but that's WG Pandering to the larger player base. Balance for you.

    She's always been very prone to this even before the sigma buff.... Strange though as no other ship that I have does it as much as her IMO.....

    German BBs - pls improve aim

    Well you can forget about the historical par my friend. I know German BB's are not the most accurate of Ships but please remember against other targets such as cruisers and dd's you don't need a lot of accuracy because your rounds are the size of a small car and just 1/2 can send me back to port in my squishy cruiser. Yay for you bad for me. so the reason dispersion is the way it is now, is so people do not go running round with impunity with some of the most heavily armoured ships in the game sending out smart car sized shells with laser like precision. WG call it balance. I call it biding my time until one of those rounds finds me (you know that stray 1 that's always on target) and sends me back to port.

    Personaly I think tier 7 is the sweet spot, most ships are fairly balanced at this level and I don't experience to much up tearing...you must be cursed or have not made enough sacrifices to the rng gods.... The thing with RNL cruisers is from tier 8 upwards the meta is so radar heavy that smoke is no longer such an effective tool as it used to be. They were built around the smoke mechanic to protect them as they are so fragile. As you say people target smoke a lot with torps and guns these days and it has become a lot harder these days to make them as effective as they once were. Sure you can join them and go radar but you need to play it seriously defensive because if they even look at an incoming voley from anything they go boom. I had an instance yesterday in the Eddy where I swear the rounds hadn't hit me yet and the ship was like ""No... yeah those are good.... im just gunna....
  22. Still alive.... Damage saturation. Why was this implemented into wows? Yes I know how the mechanics work and hp loss to a particular area of ship can only take so much for saturation kicks in but.....This game is getting so far from reality that's its now bordering on science fiction....Nothing should survive 6 direct topedo strikes. Nothing. If you sail side on to 8 torpedo's and do nothing to adjust course ....YOU DESERVE TO PHKING DIE! (or did he not bother because..well damage saturation =free ticket to survivability for BB's with sufficient hp pool) HOW is this fair to DD play? How much more of a devastating strike do you bloody need.? Had I been on my own I probably would have died the next salvo from the Montana luckily for me I was actually being supported.... So my question is this... Is this a fair mechanic to have in the game because if your hit by that many torpedoes in the first place you've done something wrong or was this implemented to pamper to whining BB players who cant be bothered to use the A and D keys but want to sail around the game with impunity and Wg didn't want to loose one of there biggest player base? Ive just started to take an interest in DD play and to be honest...whats the point? Im never one to shy away from a challenge but ffs this class of ship has been shat on from a great height for too long now imo. Is there a better way Wg could balance this equation rather than giving unrealistic get out of jail card mechanics? Don't we learn by our mistakes? Behaviour is supposed to change because of the mistakes we make in life and in a game. But if you keep giving ways out the behaviour wont change.....

    Yes they were...but I wonder how the Edinburgh will fair, not great with smoke I fear due to all the radar in the meta now. Could join them but ....so fragile. Looking more like Baltimore for me....

Guess im trying to reach out for some representation of normality in our games as I feel of late its been going to much in the wrong direction and we have this discussion regularly on historical or fantasy elements within the game. Seems its slanting on the way of fantasy and picking up speed fast. I mean we already had torps in space ffs......

    Agreed but as @Animalul2012 pointed out if say we use Japanese fishes as an example, 4 hits fro a shimakaze your dead....so if other nations torps are weaker then we need to make up the deficit with MORE torps....so how many torps do we need? 6, 8, 12 simultaneous strikes from other nations that's needed in order to sink a BB, at what point does this get ridiculous?
