Agree... Ship building is a great addition but its too expensive....Cost needs to be reduced to attract more people to take part, this with all of the specific criteria (ships) to complete directives is EXCLUDING way too much of your player base. Way too much. you want this to be obtainable not impossible. FMV sequences in the dockyard are bugged and very glitchy/stuttery.

Mate upgrading that card is a no brainer...Black Friday deals run till 29th Loving the ship building "Pureto Rico" on the pts atm.....This is certainly a step in the right direction although I guess with time we could have more options/ choice on what kind of calibre guns could be mounted when building your vessel for example, whether to go for 203 mm set up or 152 etc. As for cammo's I agree with most here they are really unappealing, I mean who wants something like a regurgitated curry all over their ship? Those two shots of the Błyskawica look amazing!! IF WE CAN BUILD A SHIP, SURELY WG WE CAN MAKE OUR OWN CAMMOS FROM A COLOUR AND SHAPE PALATE SIMPLY SELECTED IN PORT OR AT THE END OF THE SHIP BUILDING PROSSES.? Yes it makes sence to have this payable in game by doubloons, resources/credits etc but I think most would welcome the option no? Why test it on others when you can test it on your own first..

Definitely a priority for these ships along with AR.

This. Just don't fire when smoked up. Its just not worth it in these things. Use it to escape or as a stealth sprint between islands if close enough. These things seem to have a very high detectability Stats even after CE and flags applied.

Thank god...I thought it was just me. I've seem some record times in wich games were over this weekend. Italian cruisers exploding every couple of seconds randomly around the map...on both sides.. never seen anything like it. (boom ,boom, boom,)

Yeah...you have a point actually. I've accepted long ago in this game that individuality comes at a price.

I think I have found another problem with them, one I totally overlooked whilst testing on pts. The concealment is outrageously bad, in fact its higher than any other cruiser line tier for tier....(Trento is worse than Queen Elizabeth RN BB) .But it gets worse... When your on fire in an Italian cruiser you detectability range is higher than your gun bloom detectability.... so when on fire your detectability blooms to max firing range and again comparing with other cruiser lines , the Italian line is the only one to do this...all the others when on fire are under gun bloom detectability range. Why is this? Is this an error? I mean there on fire, already taking damage and you bloom thier detectability to max range, wich is more than the gun bloom? Infact from the Amalfi up, when on fire its higher than your guns max range which is absurd. Its a great ship. Why they didn't design the line closer to the premiums is just baffling to me atm.

Sap can cause damage to most ships (especially DD's) at all but extreme angles, most of the people claiming that Italian cruisers have low damage output are not doing it right imo. Ap is strong against broadside cruisers. Yes they are a different playstyle....thank god...at last something to sink my teeth into and enjoy a new challenge in getting the play style sussed.

Great..brags about killing cruisers in one of the most powerfully BB's for its tier whilst not actually having tried a single new Italian cruiser but claims puny damage output.. (Stay calm SeaWolf, stay ca.....oh bollocks....) Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...........

Sp what's the detection distance in smoke after firing?. I didn't think that this was possible to be detected whilst smoke was active. unless hard spotted of course.. cant find specific details on ita smoke as wiki not updated yet.

I dont necessarily think the SAP rounds are bad themselves. The ships have generally good Ballistics Except the reload time wich needs to be buffed. I think these have been designed for mid to back play (spotter plane shooting distance is insane.) smoke to get out of trouble if you get to close but no hydro !! As a cruiser main it feels like im going into battle blind. To have only tree consumables at tier VIII is so wrong. think they need to re think the citadels as most are too exposed. ad least have them below the water line, as their size already guarantees a hit if broadside.

Its not weak imo. ...infact the results i have experienced against dd's and cruisers are quite good. The problem is lack of hydro and the reload time as you stated... Got 7 citadels in random fairly easily in the VII last night, just by aiming at any broadside targets with Ap only..

A little confused on this myself being new to public test. Perhaps this was only available at the start of part 1? And you had to unlock them? perhaps if we ask nicely @ColonelPete or @WG_Lumberjack might be able to shed some light on this as to why they are not in PTS atm?

@MrConway Hi mate. The wows Portal is not working from the game centre link ie drop down menu "world of warships portal" Is anyone else experiencing this? You just get a blank blue screen. Was like this yesterday too but some claim it had ben fixed.. Thought I should let you know. Cheers.

Give them a chance. I don't think their play stile is designed to be boring and from what ive seen the SAP is very consistent. Some times I feel that everybody just wants an op line that they don't actually have to play or think about playing.The game is dummed down enough imo with auto consumables for cv's etc. I kind of want as much involvement as possible atm. Rn cruisers arn't gimmick ridden either imo. they offer a different play style , with different attributes and like any other if learnt well and when they are best used, are just as effective... albeit high risk high reward. Italian cruisers, if their different that's cool, I want something different. And with the carrot at the end being the tier X monster I recon there will be a fair amount of people grinding and the reviews on you tube are no means bad so I cant see them being unpopular.

I have to admit I too saw that date for the new patch I can no longer find a date for the release and the warships portal isn't working on most links either.? That link just shows a blue screen. Waships portal not working?
