Quite Right. this was my point some time ago and I see where @BLUB__BLUBis also coming from as well as coal is still exchangeable for flags at the end of the day But its super annoying to ask for flags and get 4 freekin flags out of a possible 12 because those other slots were taken up by something I didn't ask for ie coal and xp or even credits.

Driver update? You say all other games are fine so pos check DX compatibility/version your running in settings in both games.

@FiscallyIrresponsible Its This My friend ^^ Italian Line although a bit of a disappointment to most of us (that maybe personal) does actually get better from VII and up. But also it is not a beginner line. At tier VIII you will be facing tiers 9 and 10 so with 219 battles under your belt with respect this is not going to end well for you as you have not yet gathered the experience and discipline needed at the top tiers ...YET. Go back down a few tiers as suggested and perhaps use American line which is generally forgiving and a lot easier to learn. Then you can progress to lines that are harder to use ie Italian and British for Example. Happy gaming and welcome.

This is my problem although i appreciate not everyone is the same. For me its about Time itself. Since the missions have become harder and more grindy it takes more time and I don't have MORE time to dedicate to wows.. So naturally I feel a little excluded/disappointed and have ended up spending LESS time than I used to ...along with ... This..... It always makes me laugh a little when a company or idea focuses on fun and engaging game play or a general GOOD experience and rakes in a ton of cash as a result. Motivated by their new bank balance they go to improve on the original because they want more money only to do a poorer job and ern less. Simply because money is the priority now (increasing profit margins) not fun and not their customers experience and then they actually sit around scratching their heads going "...so where did we go wrong then?" Don't get me wrong its not an easy thing to do by no means in buisness because the more and more apples you add to the cart eventually you can get to a point of.... Its what you do after this and how you treat you customers who got you successful in the first place that usually makes or breaks a thing/company/idea.

Something I believe would help would be by giving us back control over AA fire, ie Prioroty target. That way I can target the greatest threat to my ship or change targets depending on what the CV captain decides to do with his squadrons. Reducing the speed at which these planes fly at would help...due to the distance they cover you are fighting off planes literally in the first 30 secs of the game as DD's loose health before they have even done anything or spotted anyone. Its hard to stay AA specific when you I have so many issues with the mechanics of CV balance. You can only do so much to AA that would help imo.

As a solo player myself this is a great mindset and one I am trying to adopt myself. The scars as you put it is so spot on because im trying to undo years of poor play myself and the more scars you have the harder it is to have an impact. Having been stat shamed recently and called a bad player it has realy made me want to fight or uninstall for good as my efforts to improve are futile when your judged on numbers and I can not state how much I hate the "your a poor player there fore your opinion is worthless" mentality. Around September time my stats started to drop even though my knowledge and skill has increased. trying to get my win rate above 49% has proved impossible with the current level of play in randoms and it just seems pointless. It seems that the more my knowledge and ability increases the capacity of others to throw a game or sit behind and island increases to match. Your Post does give me hope though as its is possible. weather it is possible with the time I have to dedicate to this game and the current ability of players in random remains to be seen. My intension is not to use others as an excuse but I can no longer ignore the negative impact they have on my spare time.

Absolutely. the ability to spot is essential for the game to work. Being perma spotted is just reversing all that ...I cant get why the devs don't get that.. Reducing the speed of wich planes cover the map would help I think.....

You misunderstand. its not a competition of who's had more nerfs over the years!! That's a child like response. You only serve to add more wood to the fire for BB baby's with that comment tbh. Im simply stating a fact. That back in 2016 when Radar was introduced (ie a year before you started playing the game ) it was greatly influenced by the fact that BB players complained a lot about the fact they were helpless against DD;s because they could not spot said DD's, and they had too much of an advantage. Acquisition for spotting torps in those days was terrible ill grant you even though they had the same abilities in those days as they do now ie bloody WASD and common sense. You took the BB thing personally instead of understanding the influence the introduction of radar and other things had to DD play wich was relevant to the subject. Then claim you are disappointed that it doesn't come into your point of view?

In general DD play is a lot harder than it used to be ...the meta has changed considerably around this particular class. Wg has pandered to a particular class more than others in this game over the years imo (I think we know what class that is) and because of this and other things DD play has somewhat been castrated. Add to this the cv rework where planes can cover a huge amount of space in a very short time resulting in an almost perma spotting problem for DD's and to ad further insult to injury, rockets that can inflit serious amounts of damage, again and again due to unlimited plane recourses for cv's. We now have a new line of ships that are devastating against DD's with their SAP. Oh and lets not forget Radar.....(the result of pandering to that player base I mentioned earlier) Ive lost count of how many ships have radar or are capable of having radar in a slot if chosen. And in conjunction with less and less support from fellow cruisers because they are to busy filling personal missions and directives wich are the total opposite to COORDINATED/SUPPORTIVE game play....eh viola! Basically good DD play requires knowledge patience and understanding of the game and support of other classes to make it work. Wg have dropped education of player base or how to play game in favour for cold hard cash. The current state of the game and its player base is a result of this decision.

Agree. Possible requirements for rewards should include get 100 Deflections/ricochets, this could be utilised much better and should be fairly easy to include in the game? yeah I see this too...along with my personal favourite "Im using hydro"...about 20 secs after start of game.

The current state of play these days seems to include an island getaway for 1 or 2 people...depending on the island apparently... This is now happening most games...ad least for me anyway. ...meanwhile at the wheel of that DD...

Well perhaps they should. if it even slightly motivates the player to try a little harder next time then its time well spent. Some player are Obviously blissfully unaware of the poor performance so a gentle prompt cant do any harm imo.

Yeah I have to say im done with PTS. Personally I seem to have less and less time these days and would rather spend it playing for myself. Using up valuable time testing stuff that has very little rewards/incentives and has rarely a positive outcome because they always end up doing what they want anyway makes me feel like im not contributing to anything tbh.

Im confused. How is removing abilities on non CV ships in this case a positive effect? Ok I Don't play CV much but I thought catapult fighters (specifically) were on other ships like cruisers as part of their AA Capability obviously? So what's the spotting range of a catapult fighter for eg and why is it such a threat to the current gameplay.? No mate I don't, because lets take the Italian line, I need that extended range that the spotter has to keep my distance (and keep me alive) at times as they are not designed for close in Gameplay. On a lot of ships you already have a choice of catapult or spotter so if a catapult fighter can also spot even if its very short range, why remove that ability again?

Judging by the behaviour in random's yesterday id say......Humans HAVE ascended to Pro Bot or there is a Christmas special on Island getaways somewhere!

I wasn't talking about your GPU, has nothing to do with GFX Settings or the lovely new hardware you described above^^ Ping is a measure of the reaction time of your connection. In other words, how quickly you receive a response when a request is made. You never had a problem with old machine. Now you have a problem with a new PC ......The only thing that's changed is what the router is connected/communicating too ie a new pc with different hardware inside, wich is limited by the software its running. As i asked in my earlier post is your Wi-Fi built into the Motherboard or is there a separate card ( wireless network adapter ) wich will have a little Ariel sticking out the back of your pc? Also if your new PC is downloading or running anything in the back ground periodically this can influence ping. As your on Win 10 wich is App based, check that apps are disabled in the background etc. Sooooo what's changed? Also the router could be on the way out?

So you have a new machine (pc) with a wireless network adapter? Is it built in (motherboard) or separate PCI-E card? You can have problems with the cards but I would recommend updating the driver on that devise in case its and old one and is giving you intermittent issues, However that being said if you have had a few games at 36 then quite possibly the server at wg end is poor as well.....

I think there is your problem possibly. When it comes to gaming I'm always connected by cable. Wi-Fi can still be interrupted by soooo many things.

Sorry I cant help but "Last gasp"? By your description of behaviour (and the name) it sounds a little like they are running out of oxygen and Brain hypoxia is taking place. Working as intended? WHO makes up these names????
