With Stord, we are getting a first of ww2 War Emergency Program Destroyers. Also great to see Stord in the game. On the other hand, using Mogador/Kleber as T10 is stupid. Assume/could be story all over again.

If I am not wrong, T9 will be a Greek ship, so there should be 1 Turkish, 1 Greek, 1 Yugoslav, 1 Norway and 2 Polish destroyers.

Yes, but considering that T8 ships now can be grinded through operations, I personally don't care much about it. T8 does not look like ships I would like to play after T9 is researched, definitely not when there are so many other great T8 ships, so not a great loss, at least IMO. I am good with what we can get for free, I have no reason to complain here, and I would rather spend 400 tokens on some economical bonuses that T8 camo.

Now I really wonder what new PE DD branch would look like. Would we just get Gearing, Allen M Sumner and Fletcher class DD with bigger guns? Or will it be another could be line where ships like Mogador, Capitani Romani or Forest Sherman mysteriously appear under some other country flag. Or maybe just a line of WG made fantasies.

If you get all free tokens you can get T5 & T6 cruisers, T7 bonus package and T8 camo. 1.1k tokens is enough for that and some change.

T7 from the mission chain and as much as you can get for tokens. I don't think T8 is reachable just by playing for free, so ... T7 and its bonus package, don't care about camo for T8

Actually that is not true. In fact WG "fantasy" line has more real ships than one suggested by community. Four out of ten ships, Hercules (T1), Almirante Barroso (T2), La Argentine (T5) & Coronel Bolognesi (T7) were all real ships which served under flag of Argentine, Brazil, Argentine again and Peru respectively, unlike the "offered" line which only has two, Bahia at T2 and La Argentine at T6. To be fair, "offered" line is lacking a T1, but it would not be hard to find proper real ship for that tier so you could argue that there could be 3. Actual issue is with the rest. Even tho 6 out of 10 ships in "offered" line are paper ships, with T10 being total fantasy, all 6 paper ships were actual projects offered to some South American country. WG instead completely ignored this and imagined their own alternative universe in which, with lot of assumptions and might/could be, they just dropped whichever ship they wanted just because it is convenient for them. WG's fillers between real ships have nothing with reality. And that is an issue here.

Well, looking at logic written in this DevBlog, I assume we are not far from future lines which description could start something like this ... "Assume that Switzerland could have access to the sea, they could have bought a Midway class aircraft carrier ...". Great historical accuracy there WG, you outdid yourself with this Assume/Could be line.

Remember that Pan Asian cruiser line got Dido class before RN, just like Pan Asian DD line got N class before RN or Allen M Sumner before USN. I think that it would be there, after all there is not too much Spanish cruiser which could be used to make a line, unless of course, WG assume that Spain could buy some ships from other countries like Soviet Union for example.

So far ships like Verdi and Dalian are other two T9 premiums so far only available for dubs. So if they sometime become available for something else than Velos will too one day. But I doubt that will happen any time soon. Beside that, there are always Christmas boxes Coupon for doubloons is never usable on newly added ships in the Armoury. Only after some time, it could be used on it. So if you just waited couple of patches you could save yourself some dubs.

Possibly, but probably not. As other mentioned, if there is something worth going for Premium for one patch, then I might be tempted to buy it for that one patch. But generally I have no intention to buy Premium BP.

As far as I understand, you are paying per patch, so 2.5k for premium BP, 6.5k or something like that for premium BP + some other bonuses. So once you pay it will be active for that patch. And during that patch you will have set of missions for it.

Nickolas, Pyotr, Konigsberg, Emden Emerald are all decent tech tree ships at T5. OR and RdJ, while premiums, are for come 50k coal so not a bad choice either. For T7, Sinop, Fiji, Gadja & Jervis are strong, Shira & Myoko are decent, there are some other good ships depending on your preferences or skill.
