    European research tree?

It is not a good sign if you need tom make something OP for it to just work.

    European research tree?

Tell me something, did you look only in the armament and speed? What about other stats? Is displacement is 3,900 tones. For comparation, SMS Emden, T2 premium ship, had standard displacement of 3.600 tons and full 4.200 tons. It has 50-55mm armour, deck armour was between 13 and 20mm thick. So what it should be? Cruiser or BB? It is to small for BB, lacking speed, armour, HP. Hell even as a cruiser is would have serious issues with armour and HP. Tenryu, probably the smallest cruiser at T3 has similar displacement, St. Louis is more then twice its size. It could only fit T2 and T3. And considering how WG loves to add T2-T4 premiums, I doubt we will see it any time soon.

Changing the Class System of Ships.

Which are still not in the separate class. And if you listed Ise in BBV then you should list Tone in separate class. It is not but it is questionable how often that could happen. If probability is to low than I doubt WG will do anything about it. In your opinion. But only opinion that matters here is WG one. As I said I have concerns about this but I would like to see first how those ships would be balanced and then judge. We don't even have initial stats for them. In WoWs Legends, Ise is classified as BB and, while it is different game, WG could go the same path and put it in the game as just another BB with gimmick. So it is completely realistic for them to to that. But is a good solution? That is something that could be debated. What is not realistic is expecting for WG do complete overhaul of the game just because Ise or Tone. And we are not talking here just adding a new class but changing existing ones. I already explained why many of them are not practical, could be good but totally not practical. But if we are talking here only about wishes then sure, create as many classes as you want.

    European research tree?

IMO Dutch sub-branch for the start would be much better option, simple because captain training as having chance to use Pan European ship for that would make it much easier. With time, and more lines, it could be separated into their own tree if there is a chance for it.

Changing the Class System of Ships.

Hyuga class is an Helicopter Carrier and, while technically it could operate Harriers which Japan don't have, in current state it can't operate F-35Bs. So calling it aircraft carrier in current form is wrong. On the other hand, both ships of Izumo class will be converted to aircraft carriers and Japan could call them whatever they want but it won't change the fact that they are aircraft carriers. Both ship of the Izumo class will be converted to aircraft carriers but they will not get catapults. Instead they will get ski-jump ramp as they will use F-35B variant as main aircraft. Japan ordered 42 F-35B for this purpose.
  7. By gm3d, Kitakami models is updated, and it is not anymore an old model with grey windows and looks much better. Seems like its camo also changed. But main difference here is is AA. T10 Kitakami currently has 1x2 127mm guns, which also works as secondaries, and 10 x 3 25mm guns. While this is nothing special it is still way more than the updated model has, with only 2 x 2 25mm guns for AA and nothing more. As we didn't get any new DevBlog news about this it could be some kind of mistake/omission in new model or we can expect some news about this.

Changing the Class System of Ships.

We don't have BBV as a class, we don't even have a single BBV in game curently. I don't that is realistic. Lot of those could not field a single regular line and basically the class would only have couple of premiums. BBV: Ise and Hyuga, both of the Ise class, is the only two BBs that existed and could be put here. Some other nations, like Germans or Soviets, could also give one, maybe two projects for premiums but not a single nation could provide a full line. Not to mention, because obvious reasons, not a single one of them could fit the top tiers. So having a class just for couple of premiums is pointless IMO BC: While much more justify then BBV, it has similar problem. Only three nations could give regular line, Britain, German and Japan. While some others could give some premiums none of them could provide a full tech tree line. Neither Italy or France or US or, the most important, Soviets. So again, there is simply the issue of not having enough content for it. To me it has much more sense to use them for alternative branch in BB line for those nations which had them. They could easily be balanced there as they could in their own class. CAV: Same issue, there is probably even less cruisers that could be fit here than BBs in BBV class. Sure, Japan could provide small line but that is it. Couple of nations, Sweden and US, could provide premiums but that is all. Again totally pointless. And splitting cruisers to CAs and CLs has the same issue as BCs. For example first real Soviet CA we have is Riga at T9. Even Tallinn could not be considered as "full" CA. So CA tech line should be start at T9, T8 at best? Not worth it. Not to mention that this will require major overhaul of the game which, while could be a nice wish, is not realistic. It is not just pulling some ships from current lines, but also providing content to replace those ships which in cases of Italian and French cruisers could be really hard. Add here basically rebalance or large number of premiums, creating new MM and probably ton of other things that should be done it just don't seem realistic. Now I do think that including hybrid ships could create problems with MM and I would be ready to even consider creating a new class just for those ship, both BBs and cruisers, but just for a sake of MM. But that is all.

    Whats with Riga AP

And that change will impact every ship, not just Riga or Petro. In fact those two, due high AP pen and good turret armour could even, among all cruisers, profit the most from the change. But we will have to wait and see for that.

When will you nerf Kitakaze WG??

Even tho I don't want to see Kita nerfed as it is such a great ship, IMO WG should bring its concealment to Akizuki level. 5.9km is simply to good, 6.1km would be more appropriate. And that is the only change it needs. But I hope they don't change anything.
  11. fumtu

    Whats with Riga AP

Just as easy Petro can deal with all those cruisers and it still don't change the fact that Petro has great armour for a cruiser. Sure HE is not as good but it is still balanced considering what else Petro has to offer. I never consider it OP but IMO it is really strong cruiser. But you need to use some brain to get the best from it. What is wrong with that.
  12. fumtu

    Whats with Riga AP

Petro is insanely tanky for a cruiser. Spaced armour with 180mm belt armour outside and 40-120mm citadel armour inside. Add to that 50mm icebreaker, 50mm upper belt and very low profile you can hardly find better protected cruiser out there. Even Yamato and Shikishima can't overmatch its sides. Compare that to 152mm of belt armour of DM, 40+165mm of Venezia or 203+25mm of Goliath. And none of those have 50mm upper belt. Even Moskva only has 155mm belt armour. I really don't know what armour you expect there, sure if it show broadside it could be punished but generally its armour is great for a cruiser which is not a SC.

    Make the Strong-Willed campaign PERMANENT

Actually, more often than not the reword was not a ship but mostly a permanent camo. But is doesn't matter what is reward it is difficulty that matter. And Strong Willed is not that hard to finish even in one month. Yes but campaign for Helsey and Yamamoto are much harder and require more time to finish. This campaign is created with intention that it could be easily done in 6 months. If WG would make it permanent it would have to change it.

    Whats with Riga AP

It has improved angles, same as Petro. They are not on US level of improved but still better than standard CAs AP. I find it decent. Sure my first games were sh*t but slowly improved with time. AP is bread and butter and if you can use it then it is a great ship, if not .... well you will struggle. Low DPM will be felt in the games where your team is collapsing. But IMO it is a decent ship for T9, neither much worse or better than the rest of the regular pack. I think it is right spot, being good-ish but not outstanding. If its bit stronger everybody will be complain about Russian Bias.

Dutch ones like Admiralen class yes, but USS Pringle had catapult

Changing the Class System of Ships.

Hurricane could carry bombs, Sea Hurricane launched from CAM ship could not. Those ships carried a single plane only to provide defence vs planes like Condor, nothing else. They needed help of rockets just to get into air with only machine guns, there is no way they could take bombs with them. They were never intended to fight subs.

Changing the Class System of Ships.

Special class for couple of hybrid ships? I mean it is logical BUT there is so few of them that it is questionable should this be done. RL ship, as far as I know, that could be considered to fit in this category are Japan: Cruisers Tone & Chikuma, of Tone class Mogami after 1943/44 conversion Oyodo of Oyodo class BBs Ise & Hyuga of Ise class Sweden: Gotland And that is all. And the only one of them that actually had attacking planes are two ships of Ise class. All others only carried recce planes. Sure probably every significant nation has one or two projects on their own like German Flugdeckkreuzer ... .. or US flight deck cruiser project from 1930s But that is not enough for full line of them. Japan could maybe get one subbranch but for the rest is mostly just one, maybe two premiums. IMO that is too little for separate class just for them.
  18. "Dude" in question is not Andrew Cunningham, who we have in game and who was at that time in the Mediterranean, but John Cunningham who was captain of cruiser HMS Devonshire.

    Sister ships

Imagine if there is some other possibility to bring back Belfast in the shop without making significant changes to the game, like maybe premium version of ww2 era Belfast?
  21. fumtu

    Sister ships

Well you can get Belfast ... if you buy enough Christmas containers. Much better deal for WG
  22. fumtu

    Sister ships

So all for just one ship? And do you really believe that there would be no need to balance other ship with giving another slot to everyone. Because you need to give it everyone bellow T9. I don't think so. And to do all that for one ship? I doubt WG would do that, and why would they, they changed/update all module slot just couple of patches before. I and now they are going with cheapest solution for Belfast problem, Belfast 43. As anything else will require a lot of rework and/or lot of backlash.
  23. fumtu

    Sister ships

    What makes you think opposite?
  24. fumtu

    Sister ships

    It will not.
  25. fumtu

    Sister ships

It will just make even more problems with T6, which would require rebalancing them, which would create more problems with T5, which would require rebalancing them, which will .... You can see where this is going. You can't touch one tier without touching all others. So basically for one (or couple of) ship(s) WG should rebalance almost whole game. And add to that need to rebalance all premiums on that tier which, considering how players where "happy" with proposal to rebalance premium ships, would not be received with joy. Sorry but this option is not realistic at all.
