I agree. WG should look into Petro survivability. It is too low in the water and its armour is just too good. IMO, it should be either risen somewhat or it armour should be nerfed, for example 30mm upper belt, and 35mm deck (same as Riga).

Yes but for T8-T10 PREMIUM ships not for any T10. Previously we had 100 steel per T10 and 50 per T9, now we have 75 for both T8 and T9. So amount of steel for regular ships is the same, 150 per line. Difference is in award for premium ships.

Yes, but it is wrong that people are loosing steel for T10 because of that change as amount of the steel for regular ships stays the same as before. Before it was 100 steel per T10 and 50 steel per T9 for total of 150 steel per line. Now we are getting 75 per T9 and 75 per T8 for a total of 150 steel per line. So total amount didn't changed. What did changed is amount of steel per PREMIUM ship as before it was 200 per T8-T10 premium but now we only get 75 steel for T8 and T9 premium ships.

3 vs 3 was fun. 5 vs 5 with CVs was just a smaller version of CBs, so not fun at all. It is amazing how presence of CV suck all the fun from the game.

Almost the same. Atlanta with BFT has 400k DPM, with Demoman it has 396k. But this is only for HE, this skill doesn't increase AP damage and does not give any, even cosmetic, buff to AA. So Demoman is much worse than BFT. But id would still be must have for Atlanta and other CLs with DD guns.

Popularity doesn't just have to mean number of games, but also number of players and, probably even more important, number of new players. Somers doesn't seems like the top pick for those who want to spend their steel, especially those who need longer time to obtain it. But my guess would be also this ... By stats for last two month on EU server, she "outdamage" all other T10 DD by significant margin, almost 20% more average damage than the second best.

It could be. Maybe as a compensation for loosing one skill.

Dunkirk brothers will probably only lose 1 skill, Smoke one. JoAT will probably be replaced by Consumable Specialist or, IMO more probable, Consumable Expert as both skills have enhanced versions and both are basically giving what JoAT is now providing.

It is nerf to ALL T7 CLs, Belfast is just one of them. Thing is Belfast is no more nerfed than Helena or Boise and it was still stronger ship than those two. So while on the other hand it is not as powerful as it was before, on the other hand it is still powerful when compared to other T7 CLs. Only exception in all this is Fiji as it don't have HE and was not affected by IFHE changes in any meaningful way. But Fiji is still a regular ship which means WG could easily nerf if they decided to do that.

Neither of those 3 ships caused IFHE rework. Kita and Haru can pen 32mm armour with IFHE, before and after IFHE rework and Smolensk HE pen was far less problem than 6inch guns.
