Well all ships of second group of Fubuki class, also called Ayanami class, were fitted with Type B gun turrets from a start. Don't know if or when first ten ships replaced their Type A turrets. AA platform in front of the bridge with twin 13mm mount was added on selected units quite early in the war. These were later replaced with twin 25mm mounts. So the model of the premium could represent Ayanami class ship.

There is still a little chance/hope that it will renamed into Ayanami once they introduce a new branch. Out of 20 destroyers in the class only worse choice than Shinonome would be Miyuki. And it's camo is ... well it could be better.

Any cruiser could be insta deleted by BB, if its not careful enough. Cruiser survivability in this current BB dominated meta is a question that WG need to address sooner or later. But making one ship OP, especially if its primary task is not fighting the BBs is not a solution. In your logic why would anybody buy Indy or Atlanta or any other future premium cruiser is its not better than Belfast. Why would anybody play regular ship if he simple could buy better ship. Premium ship should offer something unique to the respective tier. They shouldn't be just better then anything because that is just p2w. OP ship of any class at any tier is not ok under any circumstances. If Belfast need three consumables and additional upgrade slot just to be good than I'm afraid that Fiji would be a really bad because it won't have that additional slot and (probably) a third consumable. Yes it will have torpedoes but it still couldn't use them stealthy and it wouldn't have HE to be able to burn BBs down. Should they add them to Fiji too? And we already have one regular CL at T7, Schors. And by stats it's doing good without all those extra stuff that Belfast should get. You can say that for every ship as there is no idiot proof ship in the game. Only some are more forgiving then others. And if credits are problem just add a bigger credit bonus to the ship and the problem is solved.

Really, OP ship can't impact the game! You don't think that ship that could do to the DD same that BB can do to CA/CL would have any impact on the game. Well I hope they will bring back Gremy soon, because maybe it is OP but it won't have big impact on the game because, you know, compered to BBs. If game is broken let's braek it more, so we all can have a fun. No problem whatsoever.

Well on that list you have several Myoko clones with a different win rate. Does that mean that ARP Haguro is the weakest of all ARP ships at T7. Of course not as they are all the same ship with a different skin. You also forgot to mention that on the same list Belfast is the third by average damage from top. From all those videos this ships looks quite scary. IMHO I think that something has to go, either one of those three consumables or the last upgrade spot. Without one of those things it still could be a good ship. And If it perform poorly they can buff it afterwards.

I think that there is also possibility that 6 guns Fubuki with 6km torps will be A hull while 4 guns, 10 km torps and better AA version would be a B hull. Something similar like current Mutsuki.

Yap, but seems that they are under pressure from IJN dds from T6 to T10 which, with exception of T8 which seems it's not that bad and Hatsu at T7 which is already the worst at his tier, trying to claim that the last spot for themselves. But WG will have a chance to fix that with a new dd branch, hopefully for better. USN cruisers will probably have to wait a little longer for that. -
Of the four new destroyers, I liked Shiratsuyu the most. If they give it torpedo reload booster as a additional option or at least as alternative to the speed boost and maybe one or two improvements over current stats it could be a quite decent/interesting ship. I hope that stock Mutsuki will have its original 4 guns. Yes they are horrible too but at least there are four of them.

One funny thing, stock Yayoi (new Mutsuki), using currently available stats, will have the weakest DPM (AP: 20 000 / HE: 20 000) than any dd in the game. Even T2 stock Umikaze, with just two turrets, give better DPM (AP: 21 600 / HE: 24 000) than it. Not much better but it is three tiers lower than Yayoi. And for a T5 destroyer this is just pathetic. Especially if it should be a first ship in the gun oriented branch.

Yea, I know but IMHO it would better fit at T7. Between Shiratsuyu, with 5 guns and 8 torp tubes, and Akatsuki, 6 guns and 9 torp tubes, Asashio could be balanced with some characteristic of both branches. I think that it is to similar to Kagero to have some unique feature as a premium and at T8 I would rather have Yukikaze than basically a somewhat weaker Kagero. Yudachi didn't have some distinguish war career but, together with Shigure, it probably the best known destroyer of Shiratsuyu class even if for a wrong reason. Who knows maybe in couple of years we will have all those dds with they respective Kancolle captains

Yes, It would be a great if they add Shigure and/or Yukikaze as premium ships. Another "famous" Shiratsuyu class ship is poi.. I mean Yudachi There is also Asashio class which could fit at T7 somewhere between Shiratsuyu and Akatsuki by characteristics.

It still isn't 100% clear will Mutsuki lead to Fubuki or Hatsu. But if "New" Mutsuki enter the game with Yayoi stats it will be one very painful and stressful grind to next ship

All the stats that I've found so far suggest that ship in both branches will have same torps. Both Fubuki and Hatsuharu (currently) have Type 8 Mod.1 (6km) as a stock and Type 8 Mod.2 (10km) as an upgraded one. Same thing for Shiratsuyu and Akatsuki. Only difference are reload times. My guess is that Hatsuharu, Shitasuyu, Kagero and Yugumo will all have choice to use torpedo reload booster for they 2 x 4 tubes combination. All differences I found so far a rather minor, one gun more or less, one tube more or less, 1km of gun range more or less, with an exception of Akizuki, of course. Only major difference is detection range. Don't see how all of these fits in they two line concept Sub_Octavian mentioned in the interview.

On Sea-Group site there is a post about T6 premium destroyer Higashigumo (?). https://sea-group.org/?p=1265&lang=en I hope that this is just test ship for A Hull of new Fubuki, 6 guns with 6km torps. If they want to add premium they can rather add Asashio at T7 with characteristics that will be somewhere between Shiratsuyu and Akatsuki.

Still I would count to much on those stats. All these stats are 'released' a month ago and it is question are they are still valid. Shiratsuyu Stats (Armored Patrol - 7 Sept, 2016)

Well, I don't think those stats are (totally) correct. In WoWs presentation video of Shiratsuyu, its speed is given as 35.7kn while in the wiki page its 34kn. Also I don't see any difference between Shiratsuyu's and Akatsuki's guns except that first one have five of them while the second has six. Considering that one of them should have better guns this stats couldn't be final. And I hope too that Shiratsuyu stats we be changed for better as with this one it doesn't look much, if any, better than current Hatsuharu. This is the one that I'm most excited for.

Well, IMHO everything depends on where they put J/K/N class which I guess will be at T7. They could be at T8 or at T7 in some alternative branch (as they doing it now with IJN dds). But than again WG could chose to implement L/M class as a premium ship. Or at list some of variations. Group with 4 x 2 4in guns looking as obvious choice for a premium, while in the tech three you will have options between better torps or better AA. And torps should be the same or similar to the once that RN CLs are using. Nice post there, thanks for info. L/M class ships are very pretty but to me the most beautiful dds in the RN are J/K/N class

Just found this on NA forum IJN DD Tech Tree It shows Hatsuharu and Shiratsuyu in the branch that lead to Shimakaze, while Fubuki and Akatsuki are in the branch that lead to Akizuki. I could see some logic there but now I'm little confused about what we will get. And I'm even more confused after reading Sub_Octavian answers from Redit from yesterday So if they are remove long lance, does that mean both 20km and 15km? I hope they not consider 10km torps a "longer range" one. If so what are those dds in other branch are getting?

Oh man, if nothing change we could have even worse stock Mutsuki than now. Well at list I already have Mutsuki so I hope that I shouldn't have to grind it again

Stock Mutsuki is the ship that I hated the most of all ships that I played so far. With just 2 guns and 6km torps it would probably the worst ship in the game. I hope that they will at list leave it with its original four gun stock configuration but with same characteristics as Kamikaze, 25.7s turret traverse and 10s reload. With some captain skill you can make it work enough till you get Fubuki or Hatsuharu, I'm not sure which one now is following Mutsuki.

I'm afraid that playing with stock configuration would be really painful. With 6km torps, 7km detection range, average speed for dd, slow guns reload and turrets rotations it wont be to much fun. I hated stock Mutsuki and I don't think that I would like stock Fubuki any more than Mutsuki.

Do they consider only 20km torp as a long-lance or does 15km one is included too. Maybe it wouldn't be to bad if the Shiratsuyu and Akizuki would be given a longer range torps, with 15km range maybe, with slower reload time but with better performing guns. At list I would like to try that.
