hey prob its to late for that sugesstion but mybe you can still pas it on: have the RN cruisers have smoke BUT: -faster spawn rate (so they can drive about 22Kn in turns without beeing spoted in contrast to dds whi can only drive 12,5 Kn) -verry short stay time (so they cant effectively break and stealth fire like a kutuzov/flint) this would enable them to get agressive without risking broadside when switching to retreat. which might get tehm ho have a uniqe play style! (whithout breaking the game) and it would require minimal changes to the boats.

chapayev needs a 15pt cap so easy choice usn wait for the tier 8 which is really good with a 15pt concealment captain. so neither of yours

well imho what could work is extremely short lasting smoke that spawns quicker. so the ship can be covered while driving slow say about 18-22 Kn instead of 12 Kn but the stay time shouldnt be long enough to breake and stealth fire. this would enable the smoke to be used to cover broadside while turning but not enable kutuzoc style stealth fire.

i realy hope they wont change BB bow/aft plating and i think youre quite mistaken bow on is not the best tactic for a bb throughout the game and heavyly depend on what ship your sailing (as it shoud). atm theres a pretty good balance between bow on and moving, betwen ships and during a match in the same ship. even in a NCA imho its sub optimal to stay bow on reverse whole game.

is the gneisenau a competetive boat? -> NO is the gneisenau a fun boat? -> Hell yeah! im fine with it its good enough to play it

there should be an option for traded against the extra hp it got over the hipper

thx ! i realy dont care about the captain xp, i can retrain with the tirpiz (which is better at the job anyway imho) and i dont need to push any captains since they are already pretty good.

well standard havaduck post... but il bite... ill trade the stupid extra hp that dont even matter for then radar then its slightly nerfed hipper with radar which would be fine and i would buy it... this way even though i was really keen on the PE cause i like the ship its no buy... i just cant find any sane reason o buy it

THIS (please WG just consider it) + it would have bee a nice historic gimmic and mybe presented a nice counter ship to the upcoming british smokebombs

sry some of the german ships are good/ok ish but none of them are op. im at the gneisenau which is fun but certainly not op and ive yet to see a ship thats plain better than the alternatives.

yes and it is known for a while few months back there was the same discussion somebody noticed it using the gamesmodels viewer WG checkt warspites model several times (they said they did) and always found it to be "correct" so it wont change....

this thousand times THIS i suspected it would get radar and was pretty ok witha hipper + radar cause it might function as counter ti british CL's and was pretty fine with it. (german boat coutering british would be be more fitting thang be countered by USN boats...")

i wouldnt mind waiting a few days for the ship only if it wouldnt su** right now i dont care about how they release but that i cant find a reasion to buy a ship that i waited for to show up since wows released.... atago and kutuzov were made unique and cool despite beeing not nearly as famous....

yep im verry angy at wargaming about that i was so looking forward to owning the ship.... but no since its just the hipper i cant force myself to pay that much for it. really really sad

which team will win when 1 lonely dd drives into base when those 12 ships are to incompetent to kill the 7 ships quickly?

well in domination its not always bad (depending on map) but in standard battles hell i every time get the rage when i see the whole team going one side i just go the other way and ask in chat if somebody comes with me and try to stall as hard and long as i can.

sry but i dont agree with this one. i see my self not as an unimaginative person still i struggle to come up with an idea to get a bit more tactics into the game without alowing for mechanics like angling. strategy wise the game is fine but if we wouldnt alow for angling i realy dont know how fights should be won or lost other than with better aim(its not a shooter, and thank god its not CS) and rng luck....

i wonder why they belive so??? what do we get they dont (apart from stuff nobody cares about like the absolute fail event)

sry but how should that even work? count on variance to get you to the next save tier? i really cant imagine how beein intentionaly afk gets you anywhere other than to 0 karma... guess im glad im always quickly above R16....

well i was so looking foraward to the ship (expected a hipper with radar or something else a bit special) and now im pretty disapointed. the hipper is just not good enough to get excited about its just barely on the good side of ships
