  1. the thing i dont get with RN CL is .... there is no need to do so! theres plenty of space in between cruiser lines that is not covered yet. from the top of my head i would make them something like: jap concealment, german hull, in between japanese and russian shell ark,, high he dmg low fire chance. and if it still needs to be more special they could have speed boost or that single torp nonsense... WG just needs to stick to the system and if they want to do crazy stuff they should test it on a premium first.

    well as far as my opinion goes its the most op premium in the game (thats not banned from shop forever) same goes for the minekaze if you put a high capt. on it.

    im tired and i cant adess all of your post now but i wanna clarify some points. - yes ive read thats its the bow not the deck if it was the bow deck i would still have an issue with it but a much smaller one - shima spam was not historic and it was bad but meaning it was not historic does not imply it is bad. - youre saying noone aims for bow armor is wrong. if youre in a say german cruiser, you can deal decent dmg using ap and going for the bow armor (at ranges where you cant penetrate the belt , this is just one example) - the bigest issue i have is not that i dont think there shouldnt be neasures against ranged sniping bbs that go only forwars backwards but that there are way better measures that could be taken which would be more healthy for the game than a change that hurts players not doing this like i posted earlier: -> making cv viable counter a torp drop on a backards moving BB should be easy while hard on a moving one (ridicolus aa on some BB's prevents this like NCA etc. , and the genaral problems cv's currently suffer) -> he from cruisers should be a viable option against slow bbs (easy targets) -> flanking moving fleets should be and are to some extent a counter -> DD's with torps should be a counter since a BB that goes backwards is slow a thing that comes to mind which helps with some of the above points would be alowing a bb thats driving backwards only a fraction of its ruder (this might not be "historic" but helthy for the game see 2nd point) there are many ideas and possible solutions only hurting BB's resorting to the bow on sniping.

    add me to the list. i play agressive in terms of current BB's (my survival rate is below average cause i rather do something and die than run to save my life) BUT even if you want to be agressive you have to stay at a resonable range, soften up the aenemy and then engage in the right moment. if you just play agressive you will end up like a torpedohedgehog set on fire. (only exception if youre pushing a flank with half the team.) theres a fundamental difference between a good BB player and a range sniper but not every player seems to see that if they see a BB "at range" early to mid game....

    i kinda like the idea of getting more things that get rewarded on the other hand from what i suspect is that i will only reward one type of play that is the "temwork WG appoved" way and punish all others. we will have to see.

    sry i cant follow all of your post, reason might be you have misunderstood mine. il ty to give a verry shortend summary of my position. - arguing with historic realities is silly if you want the game to be fun (aka not booring) - the bow change is bad because it hurts agressive gameplay the same way as bow on campers - im annoyed cause i have to constanly read of some organization called "whiny BB mafia"

    on this i agree yeah youre right we wont see those two izumos cause izumo now will be vulnerable to bb fire from every angle nobody will play it if he has the free xp to skip it ...

    you ever seen a change no matter how bad it was beeing reversed? (overbuffed AA for example, i think we all can agree 100AA rating on a NCA is ricolus and thats not even counting the manual control skill) thats why i dont want to see it played out when theres so good reason against it. ofc some things i mentioned are hard to balance but should they give up intrying to?

    bow on REVERSE should be countered by : carrier torp drops flanking dds flanking bbs HE spann cause lol easy target the huge problem i have with this change it hurts peole that want to get close cause: what part of my ship will point at the enmy i'm trying to get close to?

    atm all i read on this forum is hate against BB's how unfair they are how they cause all the problems in WOWS they dont alow players to play their high tier crusiers, they on sit at the map edge and snipe and so on. im just hugely annoyed by this nonsense! ther might be a few teakworthy things, but nefing survivability bow on is surely not the thing to adress those points. and i fear with the constant whining on the forums that is curently going on it will saty no mater how it plays out. i really cant get taht the players discussing balance here cant get it in their haeds that balance doesnt mean a CA can fight a BB 1 on 1 in open sea. its about how things work together, if fleet consisting of ships X,Y and Z has equal chances against fleet with ships K,L and M....

    well so oficial now no reason to play my yamato any more cause i will get even more punished for agressive gameplay .... i also fear the NCA will be a bad ship again. thy moan about range sniping bbs but dont do anything to encourage them geting up close and personal? i cant realy make sense of this i like to play my bb's verry agressive in terms of current average BB behavior, now i fear i will just be sunk when trying to close distance (WHICH YOU USUALY DO BOW ON)

    i like it! but theres already a light version of it in game. The pirate flag. while therre are some potatoes in game that own it (600wins 49% WR DDs that got it last season) it is mostly safe to assume players flying it are good. problem is most good players dont own it cause they cant commit so much time in a saeson and players owning it are not equaly good in all ship clases.

    might work in making the ship competetive something the hipper isnt (its not bad but i wouldnt consider it good either) but it wouldnt make the ship any more fun/intresting/special to play

  20. well i would take the review with a grain of salt. just cause they have shown this doesnt mean it will be released this way. with huge changes in the line we can suspect the premiums wont be left "broken" (belfast/perth) PS: if it stays the same with all 3 consumeables im gonna be even more pissed about the Prince eugen....
  21. i believe that inly the rward will be diffrent (choice of the container class) the things you do to earn them will prob. be like the missions.

  23. ofcourse its right to not release them when they are not fine! the thing that scares my is that it was (imho) kinda foreseeable and as i said somewhere earlier their zealos wish to make them super special (single torps +consumeable+special guns) when it is not needed to make them THAT much diffrent there are still combination of traits that make sense and are not in the game. even as i earlier proposed there would have been an intresting and easy fix to the smoke (fast spawn rate +super short stay time to make it sa shroud which alows turning without risking citadels but not to stealth fire sitting somewhere). lots of posibilities.... for german BB's they are mostly fine some are really fun but most arent "competetive" (meaning outclased by other options if you want to try hard for winrate) so i'd say they did a better job than with german cruisers which are mostly neither fun nor competetive (kberg and maybe nberg as an exception) im kinda worried is cause the good changes they made a while ago (not counting CV's) seem to be not followed by equally good changes now and in future again? we ha kinda of free reset when we could reset for 1 dobloon/skillpont ....(which i used quite heavily)
  24. yeah ofc.....but you seem to have faith in the ability of WG to change it to the better..... lately ive come to loose this faith considering the statemens from WG in the FAQ and the british CL mess.... well if it was npcs in missions im fine with it maybe even in a new PVP game mode with sub npcs but in the regular game? chances are high it will destroy a perfectly fine game.....
