yes i totally agree with that my intention was not to draw any conclusion about the relation between the skill levels or where they come from. i just wanted to point out there is an effect you need to account for, which he interprets in a n odd way. thing is you can compare players better using solo stats cause you are not missing the info of the division mates. but as you say "skill" is an elusive thing to measure.

while i dont want to defend his opinion in any way, it is fact that people with > 50% WR tend to pair with other good players creating a kind of mutiplicative effect on the division WR like if you combine 2 players with 5% above average WR the division will have like 1,05*1,05 = 1,1025 so about 10% above average WR (numbers not accurate just to explain the effect) so aslong as you account for the effect of division's wr tend to be higher you should have no problem judging a player s estimate skill level.

well i wouldnt be that explicit.... imho fiji and belfast are pretty close, if the belfast is just a bit better mainly cause of radar. ill play both cause if i died in a game i can just dive the other .

you misunderstood, i worded it somewhat unclearly the question was what does the chapey get over the kutu and since the chapey has no smoke you gain 3 skillpoints cause the captain has no use for superintendant

radar and better concealment also 3 captain skillpoints since you dont need to spec superintendant

it is OP asf you cant argue about that. if they pulled the mine and nikolai from the shop they need to pull the belfast as well ! (my last 4 games in it yielded 4x confederate 2x high cal while that is not proof its still a strong indicator; without ifhe btw) as for comparison with the fiji esp for the upcoming ranked season i think both have their merrits but esp the radar will be a powerfull tool cause in epicenter DD's are so valuable that if you can kill a enemy dd early its a gamechanger. ill run both i guess but imho the belfast is stronger . i wouldnt be amazed if they pull it from the shop after they sold a bunch of em during the upcoming ranked season

they said in the q&a they tested mines but wont bring them cause its bad for the game, they also confirmed they wont do missiles. so i guess new weapon system is either AP bombs for carriers or deeph charges for hunting PVE submarines

well you got a point there but adjustments could make it work, i think it would be a better option than to make the current state work

well i use concealment on the NO cause that ship is so fragile and below 10km detection is quite a good thing. (ofc the steering would prob help doge but im sceptical cause of its range) the main critique i have with it is its AA is **** cause of the low range so the usn cruiser upside is no upside the radar is nice but guns dont allow for easy dd kills (cause most of the time youre shooting 6 low reload 203's at dds with medicore arcs ) [edit] also i just checked its turrets aren fast with 27s/180° so i guess the rudder mod wouldnt make your life much easier then again if you can manage mogami turrets with it you should have no issue [2nd edit] well if the split usn CL/CA someda and move cleve to T8 thy should shift pensa NO and balit donw a tier and insert a new tier 9 then things should look solid in the usn tree... only reason i wont sell the cleve and NO

i think the pensacola should be a solid ship now if it doesnt get tierd against t9 NO idk... im curently at it and i just cant see how you should meke that thing work even with buffed guns ...

well imho he has a point if they dont want to nerf IFHE they need to improve 203 HE pen maybe give them 1/4 pen like german bb's that would enable them to dmg 50 mm plate of germn bb's
