im at the minotaur and all ships but the nep i find max AA range to be way better than manual AA (tested both on the nep and mino) mainly because high tier fighters dont stay long in the range if the cv is competent

neptune and minotaur are verry diffrent in that regard....

youre not reading the same posts as i am... people complain cause they dont want gimmicky ships that are too strong. pleople want balanced plain vanilla RN BB's with a slight special characteristic like a bit slower guns but precise like the warspite etc... they dont want a consumeable overload with every stat beeing uniqe.

what annoys me the most is that i suspect the DFAA of the RN is a FYOU to the german BB'S cause they seemm to have "balanced" german BB's by AP bombs but dont want the british to be vulnerable as well.... balancing a counter by adding a stupid short range AA buf that is only helpful agains bombers just so the line gets not screwed by a badly introduced new weapon seems like really unecesarily complex balancing...

just wanted to share some facts because i wondered if anyone had the same problem ^^ - every ranked season so far my karma increased substantialy [season 4,5 & 6 (4 and 6 to rank 1); increas was significantly more than in random battles on a per battle basis] - this season im ranking even faster playing the fuso - this season my karma drops significantly through the season guesss BB's arent well liked [edit] to provide some numbers: in previous season i got like 10-20 karma (effectively dunno how much i lost) per season from ranked battles this season i lost atleast 10 karma (cant account for all lost due to the fact i dont know how much i gained in the same time in normal and ranked) from rank 13 to 6 alone

if you read my earlier/initial posts you would have noticed i well aware its because i sailed the fuso, and thats my point the player base is full of moronsthat cant tell a good fuso player from a bad one... and accusing me to not play for the win when made first on loosing is just stupid, last time i checked i had someting about 60% WR in ranked fuso (could be less now since i needed 20 games for the last star) im so hapy i did it before this crowd arrive although there were some there already i had a ULTRA special guy in my team who did nothing and raged in chat when the team decided to not follow him, that guy then team torped me when i pointed out we won, (while he claimed we would loose 100% sure going that cap). that guy needed 988 games to rank 1 there are some unbeliveable players....

well i was talking about before her release so like more than 1 year ago i can remember most "i propose a RN line post" or "i wish for prem ship HOOD" had her at T8 if thats was wishfull thinking or not peole just tend to want things at T8 they like cause to some parts of the player bas T8 is the holy grail although i rather have a strong ship at T7 than hving an akward ship at T8 (i like T7 more anyway atm)

i look up my stats on regular basis to figure out what im doing right and waht im doing wrong (ofc not just too look at what stat i need to incresase but in a more detailed way) and on occasion if i have one of thjose "special" team members to see if im right about him ... what im 90% time am

wel does not need to be .... i remeber when people assumed the hood to be T8 just because it fought the bismarck. its soley a balancing issue there are enough soft stats to balance it at T7

yes, i dont give too much about karma since it does nothing, but im generally a good player who tries to make the team win and i behave in chat. since the mechanic exists with good intentions, i just find it curious how how it functuions diffrenty under normal and ranked battle circumstances. even if karma does not say something about me as a player the way it functions says something about the player base and how they use it... (which in case of ranked seems to be to work like "likes" for something controversialy on a portal like facebook or youtube......)

After reaching Rank1 (~150battles, first match for rank1 after 130battles) heres how my karma went: started at 76 in bettween i got about minumum of 8 karma ended at 70 so i lost more than 14 points of karma in ranked, doing so with a good winrate not raging not doing stupid stuff... compared to a ~16p gain in season 6 thats ridicolus [edit] to make it clear i never ever am toxic in ranked chat its just cause people dont like your ship and or you killed them....

if they just made it so <155mm guns dont impact it it wouldnt be half as bad
