  1. To je nemilé, ony ty loďky jako by z komínu vypadly těm americkým (ne že by to bylo překvapení). A americké bitevky kvůli vzhledu (a rychlosti na těchto tierech) nechci rozjíždět. Jenomže zase bych se rád dostal na KGV. A i ty vymyšlené/domyšlené lodě nad ní nevypadají špatně. To je dilema. (PS: Ne, s Free XP nic přeskakovat nebudu.)

    All of you saying "Raptor Rescue" is "very easy to win", are you taking divisions in or something? Because barring a single game where everybody (barring one Kongo) was following one division that kept advising in chat, every try was a pain of seeing the team scatter all over the map and die. Heck most of the time, people died to the first three bots spawning...

    Zatraceně, tahle hra mne nikdy nenechá odfrknout. Řeknu si, že se vykašlu na random (když už jsem se vykašlal na operace) a budu si užívat ranked. A jo, první den krása, jen výhry, krásné bitvy. No a dnes mám v týmu jen samá hovada, co umí jen utíkat. Na DD nevystřelí nikdy, ke capu se nepřiblíží, natož aby snad pro svůj tým tankovali. Takže teď už vážne nevím, kam se vrtnout. Že by Coop? A k tomu ke všemu mne ještě hra musí dožírat tím, že přesně tahle individua nakonec končí na expy první a neztrácí hvězdu. Bezva nastavení, které ty voly naučí hrát správně a prospěšně...

    That said, RN cruisers (a least from T6 up) are pretty damn good according to pretty much everybody and the stats.
  7. God this is so aggravating. What would be so easy to win with 5 stars becomes impossible as team just always scatters around the map or sits behind "Raptor". If people were to realise that they gotta be in front of the CV, they could easily obiterate all bots as they appear. But no, always gotta stay away from the fight... I think I'll just move to ranked now, much better rewards, much better cooperation.

    Well I was very careful in saying "possibly just a touch" too easy. I'll try some BBs in Raptor rescue, but I'm not quite convinced they're great because of low speed and the amount of torps there are in the water.

    Tak jsem to po delší době zase na večer zapnul... Nová coop operace znovu zcela závislá na týmu (takže dál ztrácím kredity v prohrách), no a randomu vládnou stále titíž rádoby pevnosti (BB které prostě nemůže plout, tím méně dopředu, ke capům nebo k nepříteli). S Roonem tedy ani jedna výhra, 3 zcela jasné prohry (samozřejmě co hra, to taky ne zrovna schopné CV a DD na naší straně...). No a ty 2 výhry, co se podařily? S Bismarckem to bylo o mne beze mne. Už jsem se dostal na bezva pozici po bídných prvních devíty minutách, když jsem narazil na výčnělek pitomého ostrova, kterému jsem se už dávno vyhýbal a kolem kterého bych se dostal na ideální cestu k bezpečnému, byť blízkému ostřelování celé nepř. flotily. Samozřejmě jsem v tu chvíli byl bokem a za minutku bylo po mne z 80% životů. To bych se ... A pak zřejmě to, co mi to vše mělo vynahradit: těsná výhra v Danae s 8 killy, doteď byl můj rekord po téměř 4 tisících bitvách 6 killů na bitvu. No, prostě taková bitva typ extrémní haluz. Celou dobu jsme prohrávali, ale mne si naštěstí téměř nikdo nevšímal a já pomalu objel nepř. bitevky, smlsnul si na pár bocích křižníků, potom na jejich dvou CVčkách, dokonce jsem vytorpil jednoho kaisera a jako zázrakem přežil asi patero HE salv z posledních přeživších bitevek. Ve dvacáté minutě jsme vyhráli na body zatímco se obě strany (Myogi + já proti Myogi + Kawachi) snažily capnout nepř. bázi. Díky bohu jedna naše Langley zůstala naživu a párkrát zamezila capnutí. Dreadnough na Danae asi vážně tak často získávat nebudu.

    So far I have similar feelings as for "Killer whale". "Raptor rescue" can be extremely fun, but only with a good team. Random players get killed by the first 3-ship wave. The rest then scatters around and dies one by one. I'm wondering if showing on the map where next bot wave will spawn would make the win rate better and players more focused. In retrospect: Newport: difficult to do really well in (mostly bow on ships, many of them), BUT possible to just barely survive and lead/carry the team to at least a 1 or 2-star win. Aegis: easiest, possibly just a touch too easy. That said, a single player can't so readily carry the team to a win (maybe unless a Ryujo). The team must have some base DPS to avoid spawning BBs which would result in a loss. Killer whale: either a catastrophy or an almost effortless win. Team coordination is key, which is very bad news for a typical random team. Also I still believe the rewards should be looked at as far as ground installation are counted or not. Probably also the fact fought enemies were low tier didn't quite help (lower rewards, harder to hit, insane rate of fire and fire starting). One player can't carry unless really lucky (last alive AND does get in the exit zone). Raptor rescue: so far similar to Killer whale. Good coordination can deal with successive waves pretty easily, get on their flanks -> citadel party. But non-coordination leads to scattering of team, isolating single players against several T4-7 bots -> quick loss. One player doesn't seem to be able to do too much. Particularly since quite a few of the bots are Myokos (just a reminder, that's 10 203mm guns and 12 hard hitting torps) and Myogis, Kongos (those can one shot any of the so useful cruisers here).
  11. "Raptor rescue" is another operation that is fun and easy if your team has a clue and focuses fire. That happens extremely rarely. So 4 losses, 2 wins. Out of the two wins, one was a nearly perfect 5 star victory. Only one Kongo replied "I don't care" at advice in chat and ran off alone in a corner and died. Otherwise everybody easily survived. The other win was a very near loss. By the time the ranger got to the exit zone, all team was dead. The four losses, absolute catastrophy... As usual, high DPM cruisers are essential. Particularly if they can move fast and get citadels on Aobas etc. A good CV (in this case, strike CV by far best) again a great help. BBs as usual rather a liability due to speed, poor DPM. DDs: Well I guess a Farragut might work at smoking constantly all important ships, but due to many torps being launched from all bot DDs and cruisers, I'm not sure being smoked up is much of an advantage. And so far bots in this op have shown an awesome skill at avoiding torps too, so again, DDs probably pretty bad option.

    Most of my damage is usually to forts, which isn't counted in result screens. So yes, I end up with shown damage around 60k. Sadly forts must be destroyed as soon as possible, otherwise they'll wreck you. Eventually they'll hit, and some use AP, so kiss your citadel good bye if in a cruiser. Also, can't comment on 5-star wins. Haven't had any in Killer Whale. EDIT: I also focus on the Kaiser (and Hosho) moored in the port. Pretty much always ends up being a duel between me and him where I lose a lot of hp. Unfortunately, most of the team just farms damage on the transports while I try to deal with threats.
  13. How's this related to ship repair costs being fixed? You're probably talking about how they reduced the repair costs somewhat at a similar time, not quite the topic here.

    I rechecked my screens. Not once did I see anybody on my team get 1500 xp in Killer Whale. And since I actually lost quite a few hundred k credits on that op, I'm done with it. You can't just hold out by yourself and drag the team to a win like Newport (if you hid well, you often could survive till reinforcements arrived and you'd win). Btw, let me guess, you shoot the transport ships a lot, right?

    Tak dobře, většina topiců, do kterých jsem přispíval těsně před přesunem fóra se zdá kompletní, ale tenhle ne: Pikantní je, že na svém profilu vidím pár příspěvků, které přímo ve vlákně chybí. A ve vlákně se mi neustále objevuje zpráva, že je tam 37 nových příspěvků. Ovšem ty se mi neukazují.

    Alright, looks like my initial enthusiasm was merely based off some good teams I had prior to the weekend. Since then, all teams are actively trying to just ignore the one non negotiable objective: get in the evac zone. Some are too stubborn to ever leave the port and just sit there with full hp trying their best no to get in any fights. The rest is (probably) only focusing on the secondary objectives and also ignoring the main objective that would let them win. It's ridiculous that I've had several pseudo 5-star losses while not a single 5-star win. Happened with teams that seemed to be capable enough, but as they were not trying to reach the evac zone, sooner or later, everybody got overwhelmed (I've even been fighting Gaedes and Bayerns now in this op) and sunk. Anyway, with this new and frustrating experience, I'm noticing how crappy the rewards are for this op compared with the previous two ones. Even on a 4-star win, rarely anyone gets more than 1200 xp while previous operations often rewarded over 1600 xp for decent wins. Heck even on wins with ships I stripped of premium consumables and expensive camos, I only make 40-50k credits of profit. Clearly all the ground targets and maybe even the enemy transport ships have no bearing (or just very minimal) on the rewards, that should be fixed.

    V podstatě jak říká Flamu. Na naúhlovaný cíl je krapet větší šance, že s HE něco uděláš, ale jak se Ti ukáže bok, ihned rychle použít AP. Oproti nižším tierům, kde ten buff zcela nahradí IFHE (Konigsberg, Nurnberg) a Yorcku, u kterého HE i za něco stojí, tak od Tieru 8 výš je to spíše kosmetická změna (mne osobně po buffu jen přišlo, že s Roonem najednou víc zapaluju, ale jediné objektivní opodstatnění je, že jsem zkrátka víc pozroval své HE salvy - a že jich pořád hromada končí s méně než tisícem poškození).

    Well, somebody found a way for finding threads: Activity --> Activity streams --> Content I posted in. So at least I don't seem to have lost too much functionality. Still I liked the old forums better. Easier to use.

  20. Come think of it, seeing how unknown this still is, it would be a prime candidate for one of their videos. And hopefully this would make an understandable one, unlike some of the kinda weird gags of the captain and the fish.

    No možná se mýlím, ale zatím nemůžu najít i celé topicy, ve kterých jsem v posledních 2 týdnec přispíval. Např. ohledně coop operací. EDIT: No, tak ty topicy existují, ale vyhledávač je nenajde (čili se ani neukazují v "my content" seznamu v profilu). A to nemluvím o tom, že se vůbec topicy blbě hledají (v profilu se ukazuje halda příspěvků bez možnosti vidět, kdo kdy napsal poslední příspěvek).

  25. Curious, the games I've had were 4-stars wins where basically nobody did anything great. Very few enemy ships sunk, very low damage dealt fast completion. Waiting for successive waves and farming damage might be a valid tactic for higher xp/credits, but I'd rather get it over with quickly and cycle to the next ship. I'll see when I get back to my gaming laptop with A) screenies and B) ability to try again and see if people play it differently.
