I read the whole thread and tried the alternatives but remained stuck on NA unable to access my EU account. Ultimately, what worked was uninstalling and then a fresh EU download install. Maybe this could be less of a pain in future.

The main account I put effort and money into is the European server account to play with friends,with a separate low-level in the US There was a minor edit (to preferences, I believe) that let me pick between servers when launching the game. It's been some time so I forgot what that was, and starting up the game updater set me to access only the US account . Please remind me what to insert to restore access to my European account and get it allsirgarnet again. Thank you for your kind assistance.
