I knew the SantaScamboxes scandal would backfire at Flamu, usually people who watch him are not regular potatoes who have no idea on what's going on in the game so him raging at WG during streams does not really affect their income, we still occasionally throw money at WG because we play a lot! But scamboxes news were everywhere and they had to actually refund tons of money (80 big ones refunded for me) and lost many buyers aswell. There is the reason why they gifted free containers for CC's every year, people watched the unboxing, saw what they wanted to get and paid money. This time what we saw on youtube wasn't advertisement WG intended, it had quite an opposite effect so they punished the dude who contributed the most. Just look at the 100k+ views on Flamu's vid and thread on scamboxes here where people waited for month for their refunds, clearly there was lots of refunding going on.
Some tweets and animal research done on stream are just a poor excuse WG is trying to feed us. The funny thing is that it looks like it has quite an opposite effect, again. So yeah, well done WG!
