It certainly helps, but it doesn't make much of a difference. The regular accuracy for battleships is sigma 2.1. If I remember correctly, the only ships with a sigma superior to 2.1 are Imperator with 2.0, Amagi with 2.0, Nagato with 1.8, Warspite with 1.6 and Yamato with 1.5. Could be remembering some of those values wrong, though. What makes the Imperator mainly overpowered are 3 things: 200mm front and aft armor, good for bouncing shots and preventing cruiser AP penetrations at those points. Excellent turret layout and firing angles which allow you to shoot 9 shells while heavily angled. Barely any superstructure, making it very difficult to damage with HE. Wyoming layout: Imperator layout: The two towers between the turrets are literally the only superstructure the Imperator has. Whenever I play a cruiser, I don't even bother shooting at Imperators. HE rarely does any damage because there is not much to hit on the deck. AP also does rarely any damage because of the low amount of superstructure and the length + width of the armor belt as well as the extra armor on the middle of the deck. American BBs using the all-or-nothing layout can be penetrated with AP at the front and aft if you are a cruiser, but not the Imperator. A) Premium counts.B) Base Capture and Defense are not shown anymore and always display 0 since end of October last year. C) Base Capture and Defense award a lot of XP since patch...0.5.1? D) Ship classes and tiers award different amounts of XP if you damage them. 40K damage to destroyers will give you several times the experience as 40K damage to battleships. E) Not applicable in this case, but each ship has a different credit and XP modifier. Some ships get more credits/XP than others for doing exactly the same thing. Moral of the story: Average XP doesn't mean much.

I'm not sure any ship at T5 or below should ever have had access to AFT except for the ships that don't really work without it like the Marblehead/Yubari. On ships like the St. Louis, Kuma, Tenryu, Tachibana, etc. it only helps the sealclubbers because normally you aren't going to have AFT unlocked before T6. Maybe T5 if you use the +50% commander XP flag all the time.

For battleships I prefer buying the premium heal+repair and getting the T3 captain skill that reduces repair cooldown by 10%. 4 heals are most of the time enough and an improved premium repair only has 72 seconds cooldown. Unless I am under heavy fire I usually extinguish even single fires on my battleships. If 4 heals are not enough there's the option to equip the flag that increases healing amount by 20%, giving you essentially 4,8 heals. Since the flags helps to get the Dreadnought achievement awarding the flag, it generates itself, so to speak. Due to the cost that's obviously not a choice for everyone, though. Together with camo I am paying 53000 credits just for consumables every time I play a BB, CA or DD. Even with all the extra cost I nearly always make profit after a match, though, since those premium consumables help you perform better.

You can increase your torpedo detection rate by either choosing the T3 captain skill "Vigilance" (25%) or equipping the Target Acquisition Module available from T8 onwards on every ship (20%).

In der Tat, alle russischen 130er haben einen 5,9 Malus, von der Gremy mal abgesehen. Jo, 12,9 KM ohne irgendwelche Boni bei 14,1 KM Reichweite. Da ist meistens schon was in Reichweite, wenn man aufgedeckt wird. Ich wäre ja eher für 6 KM Tarnung, damit ich damit auch in Ruhe japanische Zerstörer jagen kann. Das ist ja wohl das Mindeste, was man von einem russischen Premium-Schlachtschiff erwarten kann.

I never claimed that the MK is OP. Just wanted to show that the MK is a very capable ship at its current state that can achieve great results if played well despite its flaws like size and citadel armor. I'm sure general MK stats will increase over time as more players have a high-tier captain on it and learn to use it effectively, especially the smoke, which has excellent offensive potential. I doubt it would because the Roon and Hindenburg already got 20,5 KM range if you install the range module on them and they aren't OP. Even with the great projectile speed and trajectory of the Germans it is difficult to hit at that range and AP isn't very useful at those ranges because it loses a lot of penetration power. HE is more useful at those ranges, which is one of the reasons why the Zao is the best-performing T10 cruiser.

Als Schlachtschiff ist es aber auch einfacher, auf 20 KM zu treffen. Zum einen verlieren die Geschosse bei weitem nicht so schnell an Geschwindigkeit durch höhere Mündungsenergie, Masse, besseren Schußwinkel, etc. und kommen dadurch schneller an. Außerdem wird durch die große Streuung ein größerer Bereich abgedeckt, wodurch die Wahrscheinlichkeit höher ist, das man auch was trifft. Bei der Streuung eines Kreuzers muss ein Gegner auf 19 KM nur leicht den Kurs ändern und schon geht alles daneben, bei einem BB trifft manchmal trotzdem was. Zusätzlich ist es so, dass die Penetrationskraft von AP zu stark nachlässt auf 20 KM, wodurch HE auf die Distanzen Pflicht ist für Kreuzer. (HE hat immer die selbe Penetrationskraft, 1/6 vom Kaliber) Mit HE muss man aber spezielle Schiffsbereiche treffen, um Schaden zu machen, und auf solche Distanzen ist das sehr schwer. Da ist man froh, wenn man überhaupt trifft. Meine Ibuki hat 19,2 KM Reichweite, aber glaube ja nicht, dass ich auf die Distanz spiele. Ich bin ein sehr guter Schütze, aber auf die Distanz zu schießen ist verlorene Lebensmüh. Wenn du das die ganze Zeit machst, magste zwar keinen Schaden nehmen, aber hast am Ende der Runde vielleicht 30K Schaden gemacht und dem Team kaum geholfen. Selbst auf 16 KM ist es schon schwer, Gegner zu treffen, wenn sie fleißig am Ausweichen sind.

Das muss dann aber ein äußerst grober Maßstab sein. Selbst mit Camouflage hat die Fuso nämlich einen schlechteren Tarnwert als die Montana und Yamato ohne. Fuso mit Camo: 18,3 KM Yamato ohne: 18 KM Montana ohne: 17,8 KM Hakuryu hat sogar 15,7 KM. Die Myogi kommt auch schon auf satte 17,1 KM.

That doesn't stop those that already bought it from gaining an advantage because they spend money on the game, though. I'm an Imperator Nikolai owner and I wouldn't mind it if they nerf it to more reasonable levels. It's overperforming and I shouldn't have a clear advantage over others because I bought a 30€ premium package. What they have done to ships like the Sims and Yubari is definitely unfair towards the customers that bought them because they are clearly underperforming and the buyers aren't getting what they promised when they bought it, but I don't see anything wrong with an adjustement to the Imperator as long as they don't overdo it (which they are unfortunately prone to, I admit). Anybody that bought the Sealclubberator 3000 Deluxe with the expectation to receive an overpowered ship is having the wrong expectations about premium content in F2P games and shouldn't be surprised if they may not get what they paid for in the long run.

Well, you can only meet the Tachibana as a T1 - T3 ship and I doubt you spend 1300 matches there. Certainly not a very common ship, though. Was only played by 25 players last week. You might see it more often after 0.5.3, though, because it will be able to stealth-fire after the patch. If you are eager to add to your list of seen ships, we could play a T2 round together. A mythical ship I haven't seen yet is the Mikasa. Only played by 4 players last week. Those 4 players played a total of 240 matches, though. Must be real masochists.

Das die Kutuzov gestärkt werden muss, um für den Verlust der 155er-Werte zu kompensieren, habe ich auch schon geschrieben und ich gebe dir da recht. Aber die Fähigkeiten von Haus aus einzubauen, ist schon etwas merkwürdig, da Kutuzov-Besitzer nun in Ruhe andere Dinge wie Demolition Expert nehmen können, was die Kutuzov definitiv stärker als vor dem Patch machen wird. Dazu fragt sich noch, wieviele Leute denn überhaupt die 155er-Skills schon besitzen auf der Kutuzov. Spieler, die die Kutuzov kaufen und nicht schon einen Russen-DD oder russisches Premiumschiff besitzen, werden natürlich erstmal auf Stufe 8 mit einem neuen Kapitän anfangen müssen und die Werte runterziehen. Bei AFT anzukommen dauert ein Weilchen, und auch BFT werden diejenigen erstmal nicht haben, die Situational Awareness vorziehen. Bis ich AFT und BFT auf meinen Schiffen habe, dauert es üblicherweise selbst mit Premium, Flaggen und guten Ergebnissen mindestens 30 Matches.

Sooner or later they will definitely re-appear in the premium shop, especially the Tirpitz, because a) German BBs will arrive this year, probably at the time of the Gamescom. b) It is a very popular premium ship despite its huge pricetag. Maybe the Warspite will be available once the Royal Navy cruisers are implemented. Should be happening within the next 3 months. The last time both of them were on sale was December last year.

Jo, ich habe auch das Gefühl, dass sich WG häufig blindlings auf die Statistiken stützt, ohne zu bedenken, inwiefern sie möglicherweise beeinflusst werden. Kann mir bis heute z.B. nicht erklären, warum denn die russischen DDs eine Reduzierung des HE-Schadens und Brandwahrscheinlichkeit bekommen haben, insbesondere bei Gnevny, Ognevoi und Tashkent. Alles 3 Schiffe, die nicht dafür bekannt waren, sonderlich stark zu sein und nun vom Schaden her auf ihren Stufen von allen Schiffen an allerletzter Stelle stehen. Und das obwohl die meisten Russen-DD Kapitäne erfahrene Spieler sind, weil die Klasse anspruchsvoll ist. Bravo. Auch bei der Mikhail ist es unverständlich., sich auf die Werte zu stützen. Das die Mikhail Kompensation dafür brauch, dass die 155er-Skills verschwinden, ist verständlich, aber die Statistiken als Argument dafür zu nehmen ist etwas merkwürdig. Zum Einen haben T8-Premiums immer Werte die unter ihren Möglichkeiten liegen, da sie das begehrteste Ziel für Leute sind, die schnell Fortschritt machen wollen aber wenig Erfahrung haben. Zum Anderen ist die Mikhail momentan von der Performance her im Mittelfeld bei den T8-Kreuzern (trotz der schlechten Spieler, die sie spielen) und genau das ist doch eigentlich für Premium-Schiffe vorgesehen, oder nicht? Das WG sich nicht damit zufrieden gibt, dass die Performance der Kutuzov im Mittelfeld liegt, sorgt bei mir für Bedenken und scheint das Spiel immer mehr in Richtung "World of Premium-Ships" zu lenken. Atago und Mikhail werden nach dem Patch die besten T8-Kreuzer sein. Gremy ist der beste T5-Zerstörer. Imperator das beste T4-Schlachtschiff. Anshan der beste T6-Zerstörer. Murmansk der beste T5-Kreuzer. Lo Yang ist wegen Sonar der beste T8-Zerstörer für die gewerteten Gefechte. Lustigerweise sind die Atlanta, Sims und Yubari von den Werten her ziemlich grottig und benötigen ohne Frage Buffs, aber das hingegen scheint WG nicht zu interessieren. Hauptsache die Kutuzov wird gestärkt, damit die Leute ihre 60€ Investition nicht bereuen.

There's a lot of complaining prior to the introduction of every patch and I admit I tend to be one of those people doing the complaining sometimes, but overall I'm in the "Let's wait and see" department. Did AFT/BFT/EM require some adjustment because it was never intended to work for 155mm primary guns? Yes. Was it a good idea to simply adjust AFT/BFT/EM to 139mm? I dunno, maybe not. But WG employees got access to a lot more statistical data than we do and there's got to be a method to their "madness". If not...well, at least the large amount of changes will mix up the gameplay and since I grind nearly all ship lines I will just play whatever happens to be the new style. I really hope it's not actually IJN DDs, though.

Yeah, maybe the event should have started on the 18th, after 0.5.3 has been implemented. Currently the Yamato got a large advantage.Although Yamatos usually receive most of their damage from burning and burn damage is not shown in the damage tab, so maybe not.

Leider nicht. Die Mogami hat 140mm Zitadellenpanzerung (Beste T8 Kreuzer-Panzerung), die Kutuzov nur 100mm (Schlechteste T8-Kreuzer Panzerung). Einige Leute mögen jetzt vielleicht argumentieren, die Hipper hätte doch nur 80mm. Man darf aber nicht vergessen, dass die Deutschen noch einen zweiten, angewinkelten Rüstungsgürtel im Inneren haben (Turtleneck), der über der Zitadelle steckt, mit weiteren 20 mm oder so. Und die Kutuzov ist der größte T8-Kreuzer, soweit ich weiß. Zumindest von der Länge her. Aufgrund dieser beiden Probleme hält die Kutuzov gerade im Kreuzerkampf nicht so viel aus wie die Mogami. Die Mogami mag zwar Zitadellentreffer ohne Ende bekommen von Schlachtschiffen, aber im Kreuzerkampf ist sie äußerst souverän. Das kann man von der Kutuzov nicht behaupten.
