Grinding the rest of the free XP for the Missouri -
@MrConway @Tuccy There you go. Please take note and tell this to the guys that balance the game. Gene pretty much nailed it right there.

Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

Yeah. :) I don't play for kills tho, so its fine -
Those stats wont last long.

OFC. That goes for all ships. WG does not balance for competitive. Belfast is also OP until you meet a BB player that knows how to blap you in smoke. But that does not make it balanced.
-
Midway. Cough. I think the world record in dmg is broken almost everyday now. Stupid players or not that ship is broken OP.

New OP favorite? :) -
DD play in a nutshell. You carry a game, cap, contest, smoke friendlies, kill a few enemy DD's, spot and risk the ship all the time. The rewards you get? Detonation or -60k credits. And the Shima guy that did nothing for the team, but was way out of position launching a few torps at Yamatos gets rewarded for the win you gave him. DD's man. High risk, low reward gameplay.

Dear Bismarck and Tirpitz players. We can all agree that those ships are good brawlers and yes they look good when doing so. Now, I have a question for you: (This only goes for the speshul Bismarck and Tirpitz players out there) Do you ever look at the minimap? Do you ever look at the points or timer? Do you not read chat? It seems like its a plague going on where you give your team a big advantage and for some reason those players decide to YOLO into the enemy fleet and die, thus giving the enemy team the advantage. Sometimes even throwing games when all they had to do was not to push. I know other players do this for no reason, but in my experience most of them are Bismarck/Tirpitz players. I'm just wondering about the thought process behind that kind of play. Is there any? Or do they just want to make the boom-sticks go boomboom? Why not just play Random battles if that is what you want? Cheers

NEW RECORD with MIDWAY close to 500K =)
ClappingLollies replied to Pasch's topic in Videos & Streams
Not really. I had multiple games the other day where our CV was useless, and the enemy CV was very useful. One of the games was T8 CV's in T10 MM and since i (and others) where playing ships with very little AA(DD's). He kept me spotted the whole game. I could not do anything. Asking the friendly CV for help and pretty much get a " i'm busy losing planes to Des Moines AA" answer. The enemy could shoot us from behind cover, but we could not shoot back as our CV was not spotting. I went to friendly ships with strong AA, but he just pulled hes planes and stayed out of AA range spotting the AA ships. If i went to contest a cap he spotted me and enemy DD's could shoot me from smoke. I could not torp since i was planespotted the whole time. And it slowed the game to the point that i rageparked behind the CV. Our CV made hes own ships useless. That is the problem i have with CV's. Their influence is to big. Good or bad. I know it takes a lot of practice to play CV's well, but i still think the influence they have is to much. I would guess WG agrees with that seeing that its the third "year of CV's". All that being said tho. When you have a good CV player on ur team and the enemy have a good CV player on their team they are pretty balanced, but how often does that happen? Competitive is a different story tho. -

Underpowered some say. I get that its janky and all that, but CV's are very unbalanced. And it goes both ways. If the player is bad its underpowered and the game is crap for the whole team. If the player is good its straight up OP. Don't think WG knows how to balance CV's as their influence is way to big. Both negative and positive. -

BB's. Avoid caps at all cost. -
Can it be any better ? Tier X, Tears of the Desert, epicenter, 2 cv, 22 bb. And ofc 2 low tier alibi ships.
ClappingLollies replied to AlwaysBadLuckWithTeams's topic in General Discussion
We cant be selective, but you are. Man..... So basically what you are saying is that you ignore facts and continue on believing that BB's are balanced. Ok. I'm sorry, but i will put you in the same bracket as religious ppl then. No matter what facts are presented to you, you choose to ignore them. Then there is no longer a discussion. -

Read your own topic mate. There are plenty of ppl explaining it to you there. If you like to admit it or not is another issue. I know sometimes its hard to understand, but if they are not the strongest (if not flat out OP) why is it ur most played class? By far infact. You like to play OP ships. I do aswell sometimes. (Belfast cough) But i do not deny the fact that its OP. I 100% think they should nerf it. -

Well. Its not the cruiser players fault that WG buffed one class to be so strong that almost every potato plays it all the time. Its WG's fault for not fixing their crap, and not having a proper MM in place. -

ClappingLollies replied to AlwaysBadLuckWithTeams's topic in General Discussion
I guess its fine if they only stuff the overpopulated class into one game against each other. (BB's) As long as they keep others out of it. Its not fun when you are a lonely cruiser against 10 BB's and a CV. -

Well some people might expect the MM to take care of it. -
Does not every DD have "citadels" these days? I mean. I take that kind of dmg in all the DDs i play. You dodge cruiser shells all day whist being radar'd, then comes the BB AP salvo that blaps you. Still BS tho
