Everything that involves "nerfs" to BB's gets top priority in this game. Ive used this like an example a while back actually. If there ever was a bug that effected BB's negatively, it would get fixed right away. And what is happening? Just that. -
Sad part is that a bunch more is coming. We will probably get some decent at best US cruisers. Then the stronk Ruski fantasy BBs after. And another premium BB. And another, And another.

Alright boys, put on your tinfoil hats and pay attention to the next game you play. So, Ive been playing BB's for a while(Not main, but i do enjoy the odd game in them). Recently i've been crossing stats with the players i shoot at ingame. And it seems to be a common thing that cruisers for example can park 10km away from me. Full broadside, and my shells hit everything but the ship. Then go on to check the stats on the guy and usually its a 35-40% WR guy. And they get away with it. Same game i can shoot at the same type of ship, but this guy is actively dodging and hit him with 2x citadels at an angle. Look at the guys stats and its usually close to 60%. Other cases where you play cruisers and the bad player constantly have 1 shell that goes away from the grouping you just dodged and hits you smack in the citadel. I mean, it seems to me that bad players get away with stupid crap and good players gets punished for playing correctly. Anyone else having the same experience?

what? Hens why radar and hydro exist. You cannot shoot down planes without being spotted any longer man. Or do you mean from smokes? Every ship can do that.

No offense taken, so don't worry. I get called potato in games where i kill 6 players and solo cap all caps. And i know you didn't mean it like that. I get that point and that is fine, but that also show how absurdly stronk a CV can be compared to other ships. It's 100% fine in a competitive realm, but in random battles that simply does not work. Very rare atleast. It was not rude. Think you misunderstood it a bit. But thanks anyways, man. DD's suffer the most from everything basically. And i hate when having to do all the work for the team to win, at the same time avoid everything that can kill you in an instant and on top of that having someone trying to leftclick you all the time. Now that i can agree with.

Vision denial - Spotted and not rewarded Area denial - Spotted and not rewarded Screening - Spotted and not rewarded Fire and AA support - yeah, sure. Daka daka a bit. Yes, that is very interesting. Can you please show me how you play a DD with influence on the team whilst the enemy CV is trying to strike you over and over? I would love to see that. That is how i win most games. The team does their thing camping and i cap and contest. Usually how it goes. I think an RTS "mode" has no place in this game. Especially one that is this badly designed. CV's have a place yes, but not with the current design imo. There are plenty of good RTS games out there. This is not one of them.

Ok. And here i was (and has been told over and over) that they where supposed to counter bow in camping BB's. My mistake. Guess ive been playing 9k battles wrong. I find it amusing that you think i'm a lone wolf potato DD player. I'm very aware on how to avoid getting dropped by CV's. But basically what you are saying is that when you play DD's in a CV game, you should not do anything DD's are supposed to do. I do not play IJN DD because of that very reason you mentioned btw. Again amusing. You have the theory nailed down, but in reality, most of what you are saying does not work. Sadly. I wish i could have AA support from friendly CV's and AA ships, but if i would have to camp with the rest of the fleet i would also have the same 35% WR as the rest of them. But we do agree that CV's in the current form is not how it should be? Not good for gameplay?

I want those kind of players on my team. 4-5 ships helping me contest and cap. Never happens for DD's. Because you constantly have to take risks to win games. AKA cap. And the rest of the ships is usually waaaay behind sniping.

So CV's are classified as direct counter to DD's now? If that is the case WG really needs to do some buffing. If radar, CV's, hydro, spotterplanes, Cruiser, BB's, BB AP and other DDs are all counters. So what are you going to do in a DD if you have to adjust your playstyle more than already done? Not spotting for the team. Because you are constantly spottet yourself. You cannot contest caps, because again. Constantly spotted. You cannot torp, because YOU ARE CONSTANTLY spotted. And asking friendly CVs for help almost never works. Its not the fact that CV can kill you that is the problem. Is the fact that in most DD's they can hover planes over you for 20 minutes. If you go to AA, he leaves and comes back when you are not. So you end up trying, TRYING to avoid planes all game. But in reality you end up like a little useless boat. But as long as the CV player has fun everything is good i guess. Nothing wrong with the balance between CV's at all.

And again. Just had a CV that was determent to lock fighters over ME. The DD. I run away. He does the same thing again. I send torps on Tirpitz. He is heading in a straight line until the CV decides to strike that exact target. He was already dead, but survived thanks to the CV that made him turn and take one instead of 5-6 torps.. Cuz you know. Reasons. Thank you CV players for making another game superfun. THANK YOU.

By *edited* i mean special snowflakes. It's never the CV's fault. Its WG balancing that is at fault. If the skillgap is that big, WG needs to balance the game after the best players, not the worst. We all have seen what Midway players for example can do if the enemy CV is bad. To me it seems like CV's are balanced to match each other. And when the balance isn't there (One CV is AFK as an example) we have what we all like to call "OP CV's". Because they have no counter. Yes players can all group up into i little blob of AA, but that does not win games, infact more often then not it loses games. You give up map control.

Difference between CV's and DD's is that if you get a bad DD player you can do without him. Usually there are more DD's or you have some form of counter to them. Spotterplanes, Cv's, Hydro, radar you name it. That is not the case if you have a bad CV. CV's have way to much influence if one of them is a potato. Infact, If you look at the CV's stats at the start of the game you can almost predict the outcome every time. Good CV=victory. Bad CV=loss. When you have two CV's that are almost equally good its very good, but that almost never happens sadly. Edit: Just like the game i just had. Our CV was a potato, which made the enemy CV have free reign to do whatever he wanted. So he smartly spent most of hes game trying to kill me(the only DD). Which made my game VERY VERY fun. Dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge, spotted, spotted, spotted, spotted, spotted.

100% fix. At this very moment you see high tier ships sailing broadside and not getting punished. But players that angle get citadel'd to kingdom come. It seems like everything is way more RNG based now. So every potato and their mother can do just aswell as ppl that have plenty of experience in the game. I cannot citadel the new French BB's in random battles BTW. But if i go into a training room with the exact same angle, exact same point of aim and range i get plenty. Seems fishy WG. VERY. -
FPS drops and stutter - update 7.2

You need to fix this crap WG. Mid gunfight against other DD's and frames drops to 20. How are you going to win that fight then? When the game stutters like crazy. I guess its on the same priority list as CV fix and BB AP fix. List that is called "who gives a fu%&". -
But its been getting worse and worse. This game is turning into RNG simulator 2018. Like hitting ships with 155 HE shells from a Zao and getting 3 fires.

I never use wide spreads. I still get battleship-sized gaps with narrow spreads, so no point making it worse imo. But i'm happy when ppl launch wides spreads at me :D

The fact that WG is not educating the players is the biggest problem IMO. These guys are not keeping up with the latest like us that hang around the forums. So you end up with "casual" players that have around 40% WR and don't know basics. Basics like repair bill. Yes players STILL think saving HP on ships is good for saving credits. Yes STILL! So if anything WG needs to educate these players. And only after they do that we will maybe see some increase in "player skill" . But if they don't, we will have sniping Tirpitz's that save HP for lower repair costs. -
