I agree with that. Rather a complete re design of the Cleveland.

How does it punish reckless play? By spamming said reckless player for 7 minutes? I mean. You can catch a DD of guard, but thats about as close to catching a reckless player as you get.

Without trying to sound like an ahole, do you have some other T8 cruisers to compare it to? Its good if you have fun with it, but in that case you should try some of the others as they are much better imo.

In theory yes, but what if they shoot HE at you back? You do not have the HP pool to stand up to anything. Cleveland is one of the worst T8s ATM IMO. Infact want a better Cleveland? Play Edinburgh with radar. Then you have heal, torps, hydro, radar and better maneuverability. Just my opinion though. I might be wrong, but i really hate that WG screwed up the Cleveland that badly.

Yep, but what the Cleveland is lacking the threat factor. There is nothing threatening about it. What could a Cleveland do against a cruiser or BB that is using hes/her brain? Nothing. You can sit behind an island spamming and hoping for the BB/cruiser to not push you. Lets be honest, there is nothing stopping them either. Even Atlanta has that thing that scares players from pushing you. Cleveland is just another ship in the port now. Was great and now its meh. Sadly. Baltimore however has that AP threat. And like you said the 27mm blating. Trading that for hydro? No thanks :)

Baltimore is MUCH better than the Cleveland at T8 now imo. Much much better.

Can be Ok. But went from being super strong at T6 to meh at T8. If you wanna play a stealthy light cruiser at T8, you are better off with a radar Edinburgh. In that case you get a heal and torps. Cleveland you get HE. Which can be OK, but just OK. Basically. Cleveland is going to see very little gametime from me. Sadly.

Take it with a grain of salt though. Sometimes WG say that things are going to be permanent, but change their mind later. "Cough" Missouri "cough"

Finally.

Instead of complaining that ships are OP, how about you educate yourself on the game and game mechanics? It is not OP and i'm guessing you met a Pan Asian DD. They have to give up smoke to use radar. You just got outplayed. Look at the teamlist next time and look for ships that is a threat to you. Learn which ships have/can use radar and always keep in mind that you can be radar'd at any time.

Although Cleveland is slightly OP at T6 i think the jump to T8 in current state is a bit to much. She still needs some tweaking. I have faith though. Cleveland is a player favorite and i doubt WG wants to screw that up seeing that T8 is the worst tier to play these days imo. I love my T8's but i just can't play them as i basically get toptier 1 out of 10 games. Consistently bottom tier. So why play T8's when you get in the same games as T10's anyways. Might aswel play T10's. Fingers crossed though.
