Well, I read rumors a few months ago that while for example here in EU we got Tirpitz on sale a few times before being always available like now US server got nothing it seems (maybe a Mikasa, lol), because low playerbase, not worthy selling anything, not enough money, and stuff like that. So don't be so dramatic because (specially US server) gets something first for once.

Well, I've read forums saying that (I don't know how things are now there) a while ago the US server was sh*ttier than the EU, so I'm actually not against they got something quick for once, but yeah... The fact that mostly it seems we're still waiting for Scharnhorst here because "omg, EU knows nothing of the Scharnhorst, will announce her at the Gamescon, it's going to be a blast, everyones gonna be so happy"... yeah, nobody's expecting that surprise, thanks WG.

Hey, I really enjoy those BBs when they're on the enemy team and I do just as you said. I only complain when they're on my team. Because bad players should be for the bad guys, that's why they're the bad guys.

Yeah... that price can't compensate for flags. You can get them by doing stuff ingame, I don't understand the need to buy flags with money.

Also, you can adjust the size of the minimap with + and - when in battle, maybe that helps not having to focus that much in seeing the little icons.

Well, not today, it was yesterday. But I was chillin' in a T4 battle, sailing my Imperator Nikolai... and suddenly I detonated. That's it.

Silly question, I know karma does nothing, but I'm curious anyways. Do we know if karma has a max cap or something? Even with all the misuse of that thing I was surprised earlier today when I saw than I'm sitting at 24. I wonder what's the max you can get.

I only know about the IJN tier 8, so I can only speak of that one. All I can say, is that back then, when I was trying to which line to pick, Mogami caught my attention, because back then she was still good, maybe not OP as clsed beta testers seem to remember her, but still something ok from what it was said back then, so I picked IJN cruisers first. Today, not only it seems nerfed to death with the 155 mm guns for which I started the to research the line, but yeah, feels weak (mainly because of the high amount of BBs in those tiers that straight delete her), but yeah, it doesn't feel much of an improvement of Myoko aside from that if you upgrade the guns to the 203 mms they actually turn (I like Myoko, except for the turret traverse, Furutaka with the individual guns is worse, but Myoko can't talk much about turret traverse either). The other thing that I noticed after playing the line until Mogami (I stopped there, I reached Mogami after all the nerf so she was no longer the ship for which I started the research and at that time for me the amount of XP and credits needed to play or research more the line was impossible), was that overall, the IJN cruiser line, actually is not the problem that there's almost no difference between the tier 7 and the tier 8, it happens with almost half the line. My feelings while researching the line back then were something like... - Hashidate, "ok". - Chikuma, "nice". - Tenryu, "Oh, look! This thing has torps! Fun!". - Kuma, "a bigger Tenryu, a few guns more, well, still fun". - Furutaka (at that time she just had the one gun torrets only, but now since she has the upgrade to three dual guns is where my point starts). - Aoba, right now Aoba, just as Kuma is a "big Tenryu", Aoba is just a "big Furutaka". - Myoko, another Furutaka, +2 turrets added, enjoy. - Mogami, yet another Furutaka, the 203s guns are better, the concealment improves a bit, but that's pretty much about it. - Ibuki, I don't own it as I said earlier, but on paper, for me looks like another "I hope you liked Furutaka, 'cause there's more coming in". And Zao is when FINALLY seems that some sort of fresh air and a real difference comes in. And those are my long two cents. Sorry for the long post.

(Shrugs) Well, I know that for me that's fine as it is (yeah, I know one's point of view can't be aplied to eveyone, but overall I don't see all that being that much of a problem), and ships have to have pros and cons for the sake of balance, and the ones you said are the overall cons of BBs as a the whole class of ship. Anyway, I discussed my points enough already, I think I'll leave this topic here and try to pretend I don't see some of the comments here anymore (not saying yours is one of them). Yes, you are less maneurable than cruisers, so? Does that prevent you from turning when you need it? I doubt so. As for entering torpedo range... From destroyers maybe, but German cruisers have only 6 km torps and while it's good to get close you don't need to get THAT close. Japanese cruisers (tier 5 until 9) have 10 km torps, but except Atago you're pretty safe if you don't see them "running from you", they have the problem that to drops they scream I'M DROPPING TORPEDOS, DO YOU HEAR ME, BB??! And Zao at tier 10 gets low range torps again, so... that's it. About the slower turning turrets, again, true. And again, what with it? The only BBs with real problems with turrets IMO are New York, New Mexico, Warspite, Yamato and if we're going to complain maaaaybe Nagato and Kongou for those who can't really stand slow turrets, but it isn't a big issue in any other BB. Slower reload. Compare the potential damage per salvo of a BB and a cruiser, for me the slower reload it's still pretty worth it. As for your armor becoming pennable... Unless it's the strrronk comrrrade Molotov who can really citadel Fusos and actually doesn't need to be that close for that, the other cruisers have to be suicidally close to citadel you, like under 3 km unless you're talking about tier 10, which can start to happen at 4/5 km depending of the cruiser.

If you don't take the armor into account when playing BBs what do you take into account then? The guns only? The guns won't do anything from the bottom of the sea if the armor doesn't protect the ship carrying them.

I haven't used that option in a long while (fortunately I didn't feel the need for that, I may just be blessed by luck), but I remember the first days it was implemented having that problem. It didn't work. I don't know about it now as I said though. I really hope it's fixed.

Oh... Ok. One doesn't know when something is a real nerf or somebody's claim. Thanks for the clarification.

A shame I'm a lone wolf and don't play team battles, the prices look good.

From the comparison of the video she definitely needs something else to not be dissapointing. Even with a few more meters of range and a bit of health more that won't change anything by now she even seems overall worse than the standard Hipper for the stats we know. (Maybe armor is better? Then again even with that it's a cruiser, that isn't going to change as much as with BBs).
