My Atlanta is smiling so much... I can't complain that much about that radar buff since I personally don't play DDs that much, I threw mine a long time ago except a few prem ones that I don't use that much either, but for the overall perspective... I don't really know what to think about this.

Well, for me you just had a bit of bad luck, which at high tiers is annoying with the repair cost, but that Khaba was doing his job after all. One the other side I find more interesting that in the games I play lately at tier 4/5 researching my German BBs I find a lot of BBs shooting HE these days. Has anyone else seen this in they're matches? And I'm not complaining about the fires, in fact I'm happy they use HE, they do so little damage compared to my AP, but... It feels like around 3/4 BBs shoot HE to me (in a BB too) and I wonder if they're potatoes that don't know the damage that AP can deal or... they're potatoes... There's no really any meaning for this. At first I thought it was because I was well angled and I would have bounced most of the shells so they tried HE instead, but sometimes I was broadside, I see a Kongou shooting at me, complete broadside and I was like "fml" and... HE... 2000ish damage, and no fires. Why do people do that in BBs? -

Well, I don't have much more than 1k PVP games and I wouldn't say knowledge isn't important, I spend a lot of time looking for, reading and learning all the mechanics I can about the game, learning things like how armor vs shells work, range and penetration, watching youtube videos and learning some little tricks like suddenly make the ship go on reverse and at the same time to a hard turn to slow down surprisingly kick allowing me to stop and avoid torps in my direction, so learning all you can, and experience is indeed a important factor. -

It would be nice if it has it's own cue, I'd like to try that mode if it's available in the future, but I'm not that interested in regular PVE matches, for me (and maybe most of people) having it mixed between the mixed between other regular PVE matches would prevent me to try to get one of those matches at all which would be a shame, because assault mode sounds fun if you can pick those matches. I'd play some of those in between bad PVP matches.

Hmm... I heard that this mode was added in PVE, but I haven't played PVE that much since after 2000+ battles there I forced me to play PVP at low tiers to get used to that and found that there were more potatoes there than in PVE and the glorious earning of credits and XP (compared to PVE). Maybe I should try a few battles to see how that game mode is. It's random when you'll get it like the other game modes (Domination, standard...) or there's some way to choose that mode in particular? And I heard that you play outnumbered there, how many ships in each team? Maybe it's fun being outnumbered against bots. Also, that game mode has some tier restriction or any tier can get that type of battle?

I don't know at which tier they get it, I just reached tier 5 with German BBs, and so far I know the tier 4 can get citadels, but at some point in the thech tree (my bet is tier 6) German BBs get a thing called turtleback, aka armor behind the actual armor the game tells you the BB has around the citadel. That makes, that BBs that have said turtleback no matter how many times you try, you wont citadel them at close range. Ever. Those BBs can only get citadels if you get blessed by RNGesus and He allows you to get a sniping shot from 15+km that instead of piercing the side of the ship goes through the deck avoiding the armor of the side. But like it happened with Tirpitz for long time now, if you aim directly at the side under the smokestack at close range you can't get citadels.

Muy buena idea en general, simplemente veo un problema con la implementación de tu F9, admito que sería un mensaje tremendamente útil para cruceros que dispongan de dicho radar, pero considerando que actualmente el radar es una cosa solo presente a partir de tier 7 para arriba, solo para cruceros y ni siquiera para todos ellos, sería un comando que no sería útil para todo el mundo. Aunque bueno, considerando que hay un mensaje para "tacos políticamente correctos" y otros tantos mensajes igual de inútiles, parece que la utilidad del mensaje para todo el mundo no es su prioridad, así que mejor el aviso ese de todas formas. -
For me HE secondaries are better, they do damage at any angle and there's the fire chance too, AP secondaries may sound nice, but with the amounts of armor at higher tiers and a posibility to just angle and nullify the AP secondaries (while angling against the main battery at the same time) makes it "HE better for secondaries" all the way.

I don't really know about the "technical" questions, a long time ago I was so impatient and crazy to free xp and skip from Fuso to Yamato directly and die miserably like the noob I was at tier 10 and quickly return to the lower tiers I belonged to at that time, but if you have no port space issues I woudn't sell Nagato even if it's worth it for Amagi and just wait to have the credits by playing, but well, you should consider too if you really like to play Nagato that much to still play her if you were to keep it too.

Well, not a difficulty, but for me the thing with Kaiser is that you can bring all guns to bare but it's easier on one side that the other and even with the "easy side" (I think it was pinting the guns to the right side of the ship that it was easier) the angle it's a bit compromising if other BBs shots you meanwhile, I feel like it's a bit of a trap to show broadside. The other thing with that, is that the guns in the middle would seem to be able to aim and shoot above of the turret they have in front, at least at max range but it still forces you to turn the ship until the other turret isn't in the way at all, I wonder if that's a bug, it can't shoot deliberately if the other gun is in front or it's just that it looks like the gun should be able to shoot but it's actually true it can? I'd actually would like which one of those it is, so if anyone knows feel free to leave a response, please.

Well, even if those BBs detect DDs, they still have to deal with dispersion to hit them. I see hydro as just a help to dodge torpedos, because at high tiers german BBs seem to have really good secondaries and citadel protection at close range, so they benefit a lot in close range fights and hydro is a nice way to encourage to close in even with torps. On the other side they are quite weak for torpedos, so yeah, maybe they tend to see torps earlier and avoid then, but they get hurt a lot from torps, so it kinda compensates that. One think I thought though is that (I don't play high tiers a lot, so I really don't know) but for what can be read here on the forums it seems that there won't be many Shimakazes out there (at least not as much as there used to be) and I think hydro actually coud benefit Shimas and make them come back again, because if german BBs become really popular and common BBs would maybe feel a bit less of a DD easy kill, that's true (assuming a lot of people out there knows how hydro works, which could be wrong, you never know) but even if you detect Shima torps with hydro and she launches the infamous wall of torps good luck dodging that with one of the german BBs, hydro up or not. -
Well, I only had XP to unlock up to Kaiser with the hull, range and engine upgrades so I'll be starting from there. If I had the free XP I'd go for Bismarck, a secondaries build on that thing looks insane, and that hydro for a BB looks really cool and makes a nice combo if a DD tries to get really close and thing she can just smoke up. Also I'm looking forward to Bayern, it's the closest one that I think I'll like, we'll see when I reach there but on paper I think I'll like that ship.

Also, I don't know if they fixed that, but when reviews started to came out I found a page with datamined stats for the Dunkerque (I don't have link now) that have a comparision of Fuso's, New Mexico's and Dunkerque's HP pools for the gunns and it was something like 21000 HP for the guns of Fuso and New Mexico and a ridiculous 7000 HP for the guns on Dunkerque, so you don't only lose 50% of your firepower if one gun get's destroyed, it also seem they will be really likely to break if a BB gets a shot on one of them. That, and the fact that with that bow armor you can't really point your bow to BBs because the bow can be overmatched by Warspite, Bayern, and any higher tier BB that isn't a Scharnhorst and citadel you from the bow made me really think I'll save that money for something else. -

Something like those new BBs was really needed indeed, I've seen tons of youtubers complain about that the tier 10 lacking range because of only 20ish km range and the massive detection range, but the only problem of that BB is it's massive size and the detection range it gives, but think of it, there was a post not long ago about BB range where I even said that I'd be fine if BBs get range down to around those 20/21 km range (the ones that have a range above that because there is no real need for more than that, there's not even a consistent damage or accuracy (yeah, you can get the 1 in a million one shot through the deck, but how often it happens?) and yeah, a branch of BBs, with good secondaries, awesome citadel protection, but only at close range and with hydro starting at tier 8 to mitigate the excuse of "I might get torped if I do my job" it's one of the best, if not really the best addition I've seen to the game and it's gameplay and I really like it. Well done WG. Indeed a really nice addition to the game. -

Yup, from what it seems in the reviews I've seen that's pretty much all about it. It's not enough for me, specially since Scharnhorst was released lately I already spend money on that. Maybe would be enough and I would have been less picky with the flaws Dunkerque has and would have bought her for just the fun of it if she wasn't meant to be compared with the Scharnhorst and with a release date close to that one. -

Well, they put Nachi in the game files, maybe they could do Kongo - Nachi next. Because after all the complaints because getting Hiei again already I don't think Haruna o Kirishima won't be any better. Kongo would be nice though, I couldn't get one either when the mission for her was up and at least it's one of the first too, it's been quite some time.
