What the H...? Only Base Experience counts now?

The requirements of the mission said it was base XP, so yes, only base XP counts. Anyways I find it a really nice idea, the X number of kills only prevent a lot of people doing anything and try to steal the kill in the last moment. Like is it now you only have to play the game as you always would which for me is a great idea. Nice work for once WG. -

No. Unless the target is angled to bounce your shells, even if it's not a citadel AP deals much more damage than HE.

This ^^ A lot of people too say to use HE on BBs against DDs, but everytime a DD rushes me in a BB I shoot AP at them and under 6 km I can almost one shot them. I hate shooting HE to DDs with a BB because the only thing you do is break modules. APs do a lot of overpens but that's enough damage for a DD and I coudn't care less to break their guns or engine, I want that DD dead, not with guns disabled.

I love saling my Tirpitz and Scharnhorst with Concealment expert and troll everyone with the unusual detection range, shooting at enemy team, getting their attention because "omg, a potato Tirpitz/Scharnhorst!" then holding my fire and dissapearing and confising whole groups of enemies distracting them from my allies and giving them more time to attack for free while they do as OP "why the [edited] that Scharnhorst/Tirpitz dissapeared in open water?". I think it may have been something like that.

Balancing by consumables, is it a good idea?

Not related to balancing things by consumables but well, it's about consumables. I noticed something strange in the last patch notes. I read the English and the Spanish ones and both say that US fighters get 30% more ammo, and the Radar reload decrase (it doesn't say how much though). However, in the Spanish patch notes there's a third thing. It says that cruisers will have an extra consumable slot so they can have both Hydro and AA Defensive Fire at the same time. But there's nothing about that in the English patch notes. It's that a mistake in the Spanish patch notes? The English ones forget to add that? I think having both Hydro and AA Defensive fire it's a nice adittion enought to let players confused about if we will get that or not. -
Indianápolis o molotov?

De acuerdo con HERGUILLA, el Scharnhorst es en parte un hiper crucero con blindaje de acorazado. Pero si realmente es entre el Indianapolis o Molotov, realmente solo tengo el Molotov de los dos, pero si te enfrentas a acorazados, cualquiera de los dos pilla, pero puestos a comparar... como han dicho antes, la diferencia esta entre que uno es ruso y el otro no. Si no recuerdo mal Indianapolis tiene 32'5 nudos mas o menos, Molotov 36 (lo cual puede ser realmente un problema y te adelantes a primera linea demasiado rápido por tener velocidad de destructor casi, con el Molotov hay que aprender a controlar la velocidad que tiene, eso si, si eres tu el que persigue no se te va a escapar nadie). Por un lado, he visto mucho, pero mucho, decir que Molotov es simplemente un Kirov de tier 6, que los cañones son los mismos que Kirov, y eso es un error. Los cañones de Molotov son los del tier 9, 3 torreras en vez de 4, eso si, pero ahí queda eso, cañones de tier 9 en tier 6. Mi eleccion entre esos dos fue Molotov por eso, la potencia de la artillería del Molotov es tremenda. Eso si, no lo recomendaría tampoco al que no se maneje bien con cruceros, porque compensa ese potencial de daño con ser un barco bastante delicado, no es el Atlanta, pero no es un crucero resistente tampoco. Si cometes fallos como dar costado incluso otros cruceros te lo castigaran muy fácilmente y acabarás hundido rápidamente. Por el otro lado tengo entendido que Indianapolis tiene complicado el angularse contra disparos por ese hueco raro que tiene en el centro del barco que ofrece una superficie bastante plana a la que golpear aunque se angule así que puede recibir ciudadelas igual. Y dando el morro con el Indianapolis quizás rebotas AP de otros crucero con 2/3 de tus cañones disponibles, pero no vas a rebotar un acorazado que te seguirá haciendo ciudadelas por la proa. -

We can argue about the bonus that modules/crew skills give to fire prevention compared to demolition expert, but fire (and torps for cruisers that have them) are the only ways to really fight BBs. And even if cruisers have that, BBs can one shot cruisers with shells and "one problem less" while cruisers are never going to one shot BBs (not counting detonations). BBs are meant to tank damage for the team, which can do already, but are not meant to be indestructible by any means. Learn to now waste the repair for a since fire, run basics of survability always in a BB, and every other fire time reduction (module, flag) you can get if you are that annoyed of fires and mix the heal BBs have. Tip: A lot of BBs seem to don't know this fact, the heal of BBs repair 100% of the damage recieved from fire if you let the fire burn, so if you just you hit by a random cruiser but you're not really targeted constantly, let the fire burn, repair when it goes out and you'll be with the same HP as before being on fire and you keep your repair still available. -

Yes, pretty much. And add to that that Demolition expert adds a raw +3% to fire chance, not a 3% of the shell base fire chance. For example a 10% fire chance shell, with Demolition expert = 13%. -

The % the module reduces it's from the fire chance of the HE shell you get hit by. A 12% fire chance as you said will have it's 12% chance of fire... - a 3% of that 12. It's not a complete -3% chance of fire, same for the -7% of the fire prevention skill of the captain. -

Almost everything should be less expensive in tiers 9 and 10. But it will never be less expensive. No matter how many topics we open about this. We just have to try to adapt to those costs. If possible by learning to play and doing some teamwork instead of camping. Or just forget about those tiers. Which has been my option.

I love Kongo too, but I have to admit that being able to tank T7 BBs and still being relevant in T7 matches you end up in constantly feels good. I love König for that.

How can you not make credits with a max 39k cost for tier 6 BB? Like that's expesive. Even regular tier 6 BBs with 41200 of repair cost are easily earning credits.

Estoy de acuerdo en que los cruceros soviéticos son los que tienen las trayectorias más planas, solo he llegado hasta el Budyonny con los cruceros standard, pero este último me sorprendió un tanto comparado con otros cruceros japoneses a los que estoy mas acostumbrado, también me conseguí el T6 Molotov, que también dispara láseres. Son los dos barcos con los que he notado las trayectorias más exageradamente planas de entre los barcos que he llegado a jugar.

Well, while it's possible what you said from what I've seen, König isn't the T5 ship that complains more being uptiered, I had lots of T7 matches in mine and I find that a pretty consistent ship even against T7s. And since probably some people will start saying I don't know what I'm talking about and that's impossible to do well in a T5 BB against T7s I'll just leave this here.

But Kutuzov is a great russian cruiser, don't you dare to put her on the same level as those puny, useless, good for nothing japanese cruisers, Kutuzov is 1000 times better and more worthy than those, so it's perfectly ok that that Mogami who dared to rebel against russian cruisers and even scratch their hulls got nerfed to death with the 155s while the great, glorious and majestic savior of russian cruisers, the Kutuzov got the same guns, better range and when BFT, AFT and EM got nerfed for the 155/152 guns got nerf Kutuzov recieved a buff so she had the same bonus still.

Meh, for me this week in general has been like that with the release of the german BBs, I dared play low tiers researching them and my win rate has dropped like the anchor of my ships when arriving to port. Not that I actually care that much about win rate since it depends on the teams you get, but meh, at long term it has some meaning. Lately I'm playing to deal the max posible damage I can before losing without the slightliest hope to win the much, which ended with at least still earning tons of credits and XP on losing teams anyway. Also even if you lose when you get more base XP on the losing team than half - 3/4 of the winning team feels good too and helps not ragequiting the game for a while.
