You just get the same consistency than when you throw some of them. Each shot you do in this game you throw one. That's the magical mechanic behind RNG. -

Well, I got the bad luck of the year. But yes, that made me one of the guys from which you can expect to get overpen damage if I score a hit on one of your DDs. And for good reasons after that shameful salvo I got on that Clemson.

Yeah, 5 of 12 from my Nikolai on a Clemson to be precise, and yes, I broke two guns, two torp launchers and the engine, but breaking a module deals 0 damage to the HP pool. So he just hit the R button and got close enough to me while I was waiting for another reload. But since then I just go for the pitiful damage I can deal with AP to them in my BBs and don't open the thread 1.000.000 asking for a DD nerf because I got rekt because RNGs fault.

I can aim pretty decently at DDs, but just about the same times you unfortunately get one shoted by AP another BB does the same to a DD close to it for a close ambush and has no time to change ammo and fails in doing so. This is an RNG based game, and pens or overpens are complete luck, all the skill you can bring to it is landing shells to make RNG take more rolls the more shells you land, but then it's all luck again. If a BB one shots you with AP you've been really unfortunate. And about what you say that shooting AP it's a better idea than to shoot HE to DDs... Not that I actually think so, but personally yeah, I'll never bother to change to HE for a DD, even if I have the time to do so. I once was in the situation of being ambushed by a DD and I had HE loaded, turned away giving me the time to load HE... to be rewarded by landing 5 shots that broke all the modules to be on that DD but 0 damage because of that and got sunk doing absolutely nothing in return. So yeah, in my case I swore to myself to shoot AP anyways, even if it's pityful if I am to land hits on the DD at least I'll have the overpen damage without having to worry that much about just breaking stupid modules I can't care less about.

Well, when I play mine I use a captain I leveled with some of the few russian cruisers I somehow bothered with so that captain ended with CE. It's shamefull I know, but some part of the me can't stop laughing at how hard to handle that is for the poor seals. Russian balance it's best balance. -

It's not like Nikolai has any good 4th row skills either apart from concealment expert if you make a captain just for the Nikolai, which also makes you feel bad because that means that any ship in range to detect you is in your "murder range". So yeah... just in case your "superstructure" starts to burn for some reason, yeah, FP it's the second, last skill that does something. -
I tend to see lots of threads asking for stupid BB buffs, but this is also asking for a ridiculous BB nerf. No. Damage depends mostly on the caliber of the main guns, that's why BBs deals that much damage for regular pens. In this case combined with the low HP of DDs and neither of those things are going to change as both are fine. Also the idea of BB dealing less damage to DDs it's absurd. Do you know how difficult can be for a BB to hit a decent DD player maneuvering all the time to avoid the salvo with the accuracy BBs have? If a BB hits a DD it's either: - You are too close. - The BB hit you at long range because you also sail in a straight line and RNGesus said yes to him with dispersion too. (50% luck involved). Which means that either of those options it's a mistake by your part as a DD player. BBs are the most ineffective class to even hit a DD so nerfing the damage that they can luckily get on them is just ridiculous, deal with it.

In high tiers specially a lot go with the mentality of "I can sink any ship I want". But they don't think that it's true that you can sink any potato in any ship no matter how much AA his ship has but that also there's people that know how to go together with others or simply dodge or how to move when they see the planes coming to make them stay as much as possible in their AA aura to cripple their squadrons enough. And I don't know... when that happens some may think that they just escaped their divine justice from above by luck, next strike will do. -
Yeah, even if the armor of battlecruisers it's not that good I really like them. It's fun to have a bit more challenge playing them than proper BBs, even if you can still get punished if you don't know which shells you can bounce and which not. As for not every nation having battlecruisers to implement there's nations that have been without CVs without any problemso I don't think that's a problem, some nations could have battlecruisers, others not. But yeah, I'd love to see a proper battlecruiser class in this game.
