    Wait, what? I stopped following the "progress" with Conqueror as I made my mind on leaving the game after the introduction of RN BBs because of BBs having those two consumables. They removed that from Conqueror? They removed that from ALL the RN BBs? Edit: We'll not from Hood, but yeah, every other of them?

    I'm not arguing in favor of the skills, I don't want them either, I just posted that just because everyone freaks so much about Yamato when it's starting to fall pretty hard from the throne everyone remembers she in. It's slowly becoming the worst T10 BB IMO except for the lolpen capabilities. Kinda sad, but yeah, that's what I think at least.

    Actually Yamato is becoming obsolete, people should stop freaking that much about it. And before everyone kills me for saying that, just think about it. Yamato, you can't angle against her, ok, fair point, and a good one. But tell me anything else where she still "shines". One of the tankiest ships in the game? Well, true, it's a T10 BB, but look at the other ones, Montana got her citadel lowered, in good hands a Montana is now tankier than a Yamato because of that. And do I have to mention the GK here? Yamato is also the easiest T10 BB to attack for carriers due to meh AA for a T10 BB (not that it's THAT bad but yeah, it's meh for T10 BB standarts). Insane amounts of HP coupled with insane armor. Still worse than GK in both. There was also a time where Yamato was a secondary build goddess. Until what, last week it was? Now GK laughs at the possible secondary build for a Yamato. As of now Yamato looks like only a floating platform for her guns which is the last thing she has going for her, and even that has it's limitations with those 72 seconds to turn the guns 180 degrees. I use EM and the turret traverse module and that brigs her down to 50'4 seconds of turret traverse which is still worse than the 45 seconds a Montana or GK have without any of those two things. Which also means than Yamato can't actually push reliably like others because is she gets flanked you can't fight like the other T10 BBs and you're pretty much screwed. I understand the fear everyone has because Yamato makes angling against her useless, but people should really realize that the other T10 BB are more dangerous most of the time, sure you can try to angle against those at least, but they have more guns, better DPM, way better turret traverse to fight you and GK with the 406s even faster base reload and now better secondaries. The only thing Yamato can still do better than the others is penning everything and the thing everyone hates, snipe at the back because a Yamato at close quarters is horrible compared to the other two.

    Doesn't look like a problem for RN BBs to get it like a consumable so every one of their heals is actually what you said. Just one per battle that's actually worse than the RN BB heal if you get a kraken looks nice to me in comparison.

    You also may get more focused that if you're not in a clan. At least it works for me and I don't even know why. Looks like I'm an antisocial that just plays solo so I get mad at any enemy division I see. But damn... if they share the same clan tag... That just triggers me. And if they use Belfasts I almost make a flipship.

    Also, keep in mind that kraken gives Yamamoto -33% reload time of the primary armament. Which I think doesn't include torpedos, so Yamamoto is not a DD captain at all since it's also an IJN captain. One might consider that the buff would make IJN DDs gunboats, which may be possible. But since you need to get a kraken first with an IJN DD... I don't know, I'm certainly not a DD player but I don't remember when was the last time I saw an IJN DD with a kraken so I don't think that an IJN DD suddenly going like "surprise mf, I'm a gunboat now" will happen that often. Would be hilarious though, since they tend to have better arcs than USN ones and one with the active buff will suddenly crush USN DDs in gunfights at 8+ km.

    Well, yeah, maybe a Yamato can get 14 seconds reload, but think how much that Yamato will live once it gets to that reload time. It's not really something to go that crazy about if you consider the situation. Relax. Edit: Plus, he has to get a kraken first, so if he gets it your team probably is already screwed anyways to blame those potential 14 seconds on a Yamato.

    Well... no. They are fixed to be what you can read in those notes about the weekly mission. First one is a credit container, second one signals and third one consumables. They won't be anything else.

    I'd rather have "special" captains with campaigns to grind that rewarded a captain with regular skills that his special thing would be that he could be used on any ship of a specific class of X nation ("premium captain instead of premium ship" so to say of a certain class of ship and nation) instead of an even more steamroll oriented captain than the game already is, but hey, it's hard to make everyone happy.

    The extra heal (and extra everything, +1 charge to all consumables mounted) are given if you get the First Blood achievement. The -33% reload time to primary armament is given after Kraken unleashed as you said.

    I don't know exactly how much height the smoke has but I noticed this loooong ago. But it's not infinite either, I spotted ships behind smoke withut planes or other spotting ships from other angles tons of times. They were just not immediatly behind the smoke. Smoke can (remembering from the top of my head from what I've seen, don't quote me there) help you remain undetected up to around 3 km behind it provided there's no planes, no ships spotting you from different angles the smoke doesn't cover and things like that.

    I'd try AGAIN to return this to think ideas of what could be done about BBs so they have to change to HE when shooting at DDs instead of a discussion about someone's survival rate in a few DDs but whatever...

    Dude. That would be too nice coming from them. How could you possibly expect to keep the commanders? I didn't even need to read the article to know that, it was pretty obvious. They even have they're own Dunkirk mark unlike any other commanders. I'm even surprised that they let us use temporarily the commanders on other premium ships of the same nation and not make Anthony and Cyclone ships of "they're own nation" like I think it happened with the ARP ships or the bathtub ships so you couldn't use those commanders on other ships (they were 0 or 1 point captains anyways that time).

    Well, I pointed out my point of view about this issue in a previous post. Nerfing BB AP against DDs? I don't think we need that, but if they want to do it fine by me. As I said earlier the problem for me (and I think it's why many people have noticed and caused that BBs shoot AP to DDs) is that there's the mechanic that if you break something on a ship that shell deals 0 damage. BBs can't afford shooting at something and don't deal damage, that's why angling (in ships that actually can against BBs) is a thing to discourage people of shooting at you and look someone else. You only shoot every 30 seconds in the first place to waste so much time like that. Add to that that BBs are f***ed a lot by dispersion RNG so against small targets like non Russian DDs you are very likely to miss most of your shells (and that's why you see a lot of BBs making the mistake of not even trying to shoot at a DD), and only hit one or two to break some modules and deal 0 damage? Why would anyone do that? At least for me that's why I'll shoot AP since at least I'll get a bit of guaranteed damage if I hit. The thing is that HE from BBs deals more damage than AP to DDs already. The only thing in the way is that breaking a module nullifies all damage and how often that happens when you use HE. For me the fix to all this problem is as simple as removing that mechanic. IMO that's all the problem there is to this.

    A DD can survive a battle because of skillz so there's no need to give BBs a reason to shoot HE at a DD instead of AP. I don't know what are you so worried about you bunch of overreacting scrubs. Calm down, everything is fine.

    I've only played Hindenburg like 5 times in PTS before the HE buff was a thing and I still love what I remember of Hindenburg if that tells you something. I guess with the new HE buff it's good, but what impressed me from Hindenburg back then was the AP for a change instead of "just another T10 cruiser just spamming HE, who would have though".

    Since this wild number appeared I checked it from time to time,I noticed it doing weird jumps in my case. I remember it at the start being 5 and then 9, 12, 10, 13, 11, 16, 20, 22, 21, 23, 19, 24 and finally... Kinda baffles me everytime I see one of these threads since I really don't think I'm doing anything extraordinary. And the only change I noticed (not sure since I don't bother that much with reports) is that I can give 8 compliments/reports now instead of 7. You couldn't give 13 reports previously and not even sure if you can now even with a s***ton of karma.

    Life needs a "How to make people happy" manual. It just seems that no one will ever be happy with the containers rewards since we never get a free ship. Then someone will still complain because he got the Krasny Krim or something. Just remove the supercontainers, WG. Please do it.

    I never look the stats of anyone else, if there's someone decent in my team, good. If not I don't need to know and influence me to think that the game is lost before it even starts. I just play and do my thing, that's all.

    0.6.9 - The Game Changer

    Not sure what do you mean by "axed". What I understood from Kandly's update about the smoke changes it means that the changes will not be applied in 0.6.9. since they will look more on how the changes would work and maybe tweak something, not that they completely dismissed the changes and won't ever apply them.
