And NC being your most played ship proves what? Does it have shells as fast as the others for that? No. You got used to it and you like it. Good for you, but that's all. People like different playstyles or characteristics on their ships other that those you do. So calm down and try to argument something more relevant next time.

I'll have to reenable the training room after a long time again I guess. Last year I was a quite heavy co-op player but I had my experiences with T8+ co-op. It's not worth to lose tons of credits just for practicing there with a T8. Thanks for the advice though, I'll do that.

Yes, and I'm one of those weirdos that HATE Cleveland. And Atlanta. Yup, I agree that that really seems to be the case. I had a Yamato for quite some time now even if I haven't played her too much but yeah, I feel that even NC deals more consistent damage than IJN BBs, I like that a lot from USN BBs, but I hate ships with slow shell speeds like Cleveland or Atlanta as said before. But well, at least I agree that NC is pretty stealthy with the build and a ship with which you can get close to mitigate the shell flight time and get away with it unlike cruisers.

Yes, I noticed that, and I'm fine with the current dispersion, I could deal with that if I just could use the normal lead I used the last 5 tiers and will use the next two. I'm fine with a dispersion that even if I correctly aim at the ship dispersions says I shoot all around except the ship from time to time. Hell, yesterday I got so frustrated I rushed a Bismarck under 10 km to hit him and suddenly I crushed the Bismarck from full health in three salvos. The crap dispersion NC has it's completely explained with that sheer power the shells have. But I can't stand the slow travel time and the massive lead you suddenly need.

Well, yeah, not going to argue that, I've never played the Missouri or Iowa yet but from the shell speed it's the same as aiming with a Colorado, which is way easier and easy to get the feel for it than with a NC.

You know OP? I very rarely agree with the typical "git gut" argument, but this time is all you need. You already know about Kamikaze's detection range so you can anticipate what's going to happen when you face one and play around that to force a mistake out of the Kamikaze, that's why I do, like for example go away and make him chase me so in frustration he'll end up entering detection range. The only nerf aircraft carriers need is you knowing how to deal with them. Here I admit that months back I went a bit extremist and spend two weeks in the training room with CVs just to figure out the best way to dodge plane torpedo drops, but it is posible to do even playing normally. You just have to try it and get used to it like with anything else in this game. About USN cruisers... well, if you're talking about armor against BBs... there's not much to say, you're a cruiser, there's not much you can expect about that. Oh, and RN cruisers have even worse armor, so don't even touch those, Save yourself the time.

True, you have almost the same meta at lower tiers but the ships are less powerful. The combination of passive meta with very strong ships at T10 it's what makes it worse the higher you go through tiers. Also, high tier specific maps don't help that much either...

I was expecting something like that IJN cruisers before Furutaka are pretty much Furutaka 2, Furutaka 3, Furutaka 4 and such, more guns at T7 but that's pretty much it so except Mogami with 155 mm guns and until you reach Zao it's like playing the same ship over and over and over again 4/5 tiers which is a boring as hell of a grind to be honest. -
So when are you guys going to remove Tears of the Desert with Epicenter?

I can guess the next idea for a high tier maps. Some islands that cross the whole map from north to south high enough that no ship can shoot over them in a perfect line, dividing each ship that spawn and make a one vs one arena. Doesn't look that much worse than what they hope to force with those crap maps at high tiers as you said. On a serious note I agree with you that maps with huge open areas with tons of island to use as cover concentrated in small points are awful, and that's in what consist most of high tier specific maps. I'd love to see an expanded Solomon Islands for high tiers, it would be way better than some of those maps combined. They could really just do that, stick to the design of some great low tier maps, make them bigger if they want to keep those huge maps so everyone can camp at their hearts content but those huge open areas in every map that try to force you to sail without any cover at all are stupid. -

Well, I know less reaction time isn't meaningless for hitting BBs. At least for me if I'd got caught of guard by DW torps they would be the difference between me dodging them or eating just one and your chance to sink me. Those few seconds are very important for the few of us that know how to drastically slow down or BBs in seconds too.- 330 replies

Well, I'm grinding three lines at tier 7/8 right now, so... yeah. Edit: However, now that you mention it the thing is that I don't have any problem making money with the T7 line, and that's without premium, but when playing my T8s it's not like I "lose" money, but it's frustrating that you have to have a quite good game to not lose a few credits. And since that just will go worse at tier 9 it's really stopping me to keep going further just because of that.

YES please. That mode in that map in particular it's just awful. Specially since it's a high tier map and how the map is. Having most of the time 15 minutes of everyone behind one of the shitton of islands everywhere or the map covered in smoke the second anyone attempts to do any push because lately everyone an his mother has smoke since RN cruisers it's one of the most retarded things I've seen in this game. Everytime I see the combination of Tears of the Desert with Epicenter I just want to die. -

Meh, the point I see in torps vs DDs it's the capability of sweeping a smoke and catch there a DD off guard. I agree that there's not much more point than that since I would never expect to hit a DD with torps in the open (A decent one at least ). However torping smokes it's kinda situational, most good DDs don't tend to stay in the smoke that long waiting for the torps anyways and it looks like those torps would be able to hit RN cruisers too, so I guess that that trade for reduced reaction time for other ships is good. It would be a shame that they limit those to just one line, those torps would make battles more interesting.- 330 replies

Well, I'm not a DD player, but even I can understand that not being able to hit DDs is bad for them, however I like the idea of those torps. At least potato BBs will get farmed easily with those reaction times. This could probably be a solution to the overpopulation of BBs in certain tiers and lure bad BB players to other ships instead of just being farmed because of that again and again and again... if those torps were added to every DD line instead of being a gimmick limited to just one DD line. The problem for BBs it's not the ammo cost or that you pay the same if youget sunk or if you don't lose a single HP. For DDs ammo costs because of torps looks a lot more like a problem. But at tier 8+ the base ship repairs are still too high even with the reductions they did months ago. Even if it's just -10k credits, losing that in a 120k damage match it's just not right. Why would I even bother to continue to play to tier 9 and 10? Repair costs are too high and the way people play at those tiers suck, where's the incentive to reach there?

Yup, and RN cruisers just made it better, I took my Ishizuchi out when they came out and battles where flooded with Danaes and Emeralds and I literally got one battle where all my shots were citadels, not one single regular shot.
