Economics rework - some considerations
Shirakami_Kon replied to Ubertron_X's topic in General Discussion
The thing is that permacamos can suck honestly. I'd get some of them if I maybe would consider paying the same 200 doubloons to make any expendable camo permanent, but the thing is that for some ships their regular permacamo is just unappealing. It just feels like such a wasted oportunity from WG not to let players choose a visual permacamo, even from the expandable options, be it for something like 1 million credits and deal with it like with ship upgrades or if they are that greedy for money just allow to make any expendable camo permanent by the same 200 doubloons, not being limited to just the regular one which may suck anyway. We could have been in an update where we could have chosen any permacamo we like and see some real camo variety finally, but instead we've gone backwards to everyone not running camo unless it's a premium that came with it, so whatever. -

Reworked Contributor Containers now give useless reward 15% of a time?
Shirakami_Kon replied to Yamashiro42's topic in General Discussion
@Seraphice If WG is so persistant in keeping the camos in the containers why not chage the containers so they always give the 50 camos AND one of the other things? CC contributor containers where supposed to be a unique kinda special reward, since you can't even buy them, and while the camos had good bonuses with them before the rework so they where still nice back then now are just paint on the ship that does absolutely nothing, so getting them from a CC container now feels like a real middle finger no matter how you put it. But as said, always getting 50 visual camos + any of the other rewards would actually be really nice. Couldn't they consider that? -
Matters a lot when stopping a CV from sinking your ship because your night and day difference in skill allows you to do so much against it just hitting you at will anyway... Or when doing something about a submarine being an untouchable toxic pest, because the game makes me feel SO equipped to interact with them and show my skill.

Not only you, there are a lot of bugs (Let's see our bugs)
Shirakami_Kon replied to Lord_Clam's topic in General Discussion
I have to wonder at this point if Montpelier having Helena shells and not Cleveland shells is another one of these bugs or not. -
New coal ships announced, does this change your coal purchase priorities?
Shirakami_Kon replied to Jvd2000's topic in General Discussion
Would have maybe put Vallejo before some other coal options if it ended up being put out for coal as I was expecting it to be. Was even looking forward a bit for it. But seems like for WG was more important to pump out more readily affordable CVs out before god forbid allowing you to maybe have some fun on a cruiser, so eh... Not really interested in any of the new coal options to be honest. -
Is player account anniversary not a thing?
Shirakami_Kon replied to Flyks9's topic in General Discussion
You can do that for your actual birthday as a player. OP means if the game doesn't give any reward on the account anniversary, as in the day you started the account you play the game on. Which as far as I know is not the case. -
A little oddity with the Azur Lane port

Allow right clicking a camo in the camo list in the Exterior menu in port to sell it from there without needing to go to inventory menu. Also speaking of inventory, add a tab there where you can see all your permanent bonus packages for all your ships, even those you sold and you don't have in port right now, I want to be able to remember which ones have from mission permacamos without having to repurchase them one by one to check.

Reworked Contributor Containers now give useless reward 15% of a time?
Shirakami_Kon replied to Yamashiro42's topic in General Discussion
You realize these aren't containers you can buy, right? These are CC containers you may get as a reward from watching CCs play the game in streams. Issue is that previously the main reward where camos, back when they had bonus and were useful. Now instead you just get a bunch of useless camos, which fall into the special category, which you can't even sell. And even when we'll ve able to do that later on as announced selling them is not even that worth it. I honestly think they need to rework container drops in general, because right now getting camos just feels bad, they are completely useless. Camos should be removed from container drops except the "More camo containers" for those people that for whatever reason may still want some and like random daily mission rewards, but removed completely from the drops of any other type of container. -
For me the best thing ever would be if WG would give Zao 30 degrees firing angles. I think that alone would help the ship survivability more that just dumping HP on it, which does nothing by just allowing you to shoot without having to show flat broadside and get murdered. Not to mention how much comfortable to play that would make her. And imagine if Zao and 155 Mogami had actual cruiser turret traverse. That would be an actual dream. But seems that would make the ships more broken than Edgar, so we can't have that I guess.

Add an option to make an expendable camouflage permanent for a ship for like 500.000 credits since paying credits for it every battle when it doesn't add any benefit is straight up edit.

Few observasions on the new patch.
Shirakami_Kon replied to Anthoniusii's topic in General Discussion
But didn't they replace the reduced service cost bonus with more credits? That admitedly works better for low tier ships since their service cost is not a problem to begin with, but gets worse than what you used to have at tiers 8, 9 and 10, so feels like an unnecesary replacement that no one really needed, but we got it anyway and it's worse for no reason whatsoever. -

Shirakami_Kon replied to Anthoniusii's topic in General Discussion
There's lots of clans out there though that don't care about clan battles or even divisioning in randoms and it's just a bunch of people gathering for the discounts. I'd even there say that the mayority of them are like that, more than their intended whole purpose of people gathering to division, or participate in clan battles and such, so it's not rare these complaints arise now. And as mentioned it's true that this made them pretty useless besides the credit discount when purchasing a tech tree ship now, so it's true that for a mayority of the playerbase the value of a clan has decresed substantially. -
It's never enough.

[POLL] Will you sell the Consumable Camouflages in new Patch WoWs v0.11.6 (i.e. "eye candy" only now) ?
Shirakami_Kon replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
There's some camouflages I'd like that I'd pay something like 1 million credits, kinda like playing an upgrade for a ship to make it permanent as a visual camoflage for my ship and never pay a credit ever again for it. But currently having to waste credits every single match just for some paint on my ship constantly? Hell no. For me camos have become nothing else than a few credits each the moment we can sell them, and I'm never going to pay a single credit for one of them each match. -

So... Weebs OP? -
It wasn't, I agree priority sector would have been great when AA was... well, actual AA. I was taking a break from the game at the time and just checking updates from time to time, so I can't really point out when exactly the priority sector was added to the game, but wasn't it during the CV rework? Or soon after/before it, I kinda remember it being added around that time.

"Dead" Skills - Which are the ones you would never take?
Shirakami_Kon replied to Aragathor's topic in General Discussion
For me the thing with Furious it's not that it's a trap. But it's only for the British main line BBs once they get super heal. They don't give a damn about fires with their repair, so they can just stay on fire and enjoy the bonus while they burn reducing dispersion of more incoming fire and reloading even faster. What I don't get is why they go out of their way to add a 4 point skill that only benefits a single BB branch in the game but they can't manage to add different greatly needed skill trees for CLs, CAs and large cruisers. -
Why is Tier X cheaper than Tier IX?
Shirakami_Kon replied to ziratulbihac's topic in General Discussion
Not to mention that even after that the service repair costs, even if you run permacamo for both tier 9s and 10s makes it cheaper to play a tier 10 than a tier 9. Why? I don't know. I even remember asking Seraphice about it once and even him didn't understand the logic behind it, but here we are. -
what is the purpose having fighters ?
Shirakami_Kon replied to CV_SUB_Report_Blacklist's topic in General Discussion
Some low tier ships have no other options, so it gives you false expectations that the reason there's a fighter consumable there is because it does something like all the other ones. Even if it's something pitiful like DefAA. -
what is the purpose having fighters ?
Shirakami_Kon replied to CV_SUB_Report_Blacklist's topic in General Discussion
To be honest, AA is useless since the CV rework, but we need to find a level below useless to define fighters. -
When are you going to make Siegfried secondaries what they were promised?
Shirakami_Kon replied to SPIDERBAIT's topic in General Discussion
Cruiser commander skills are such a mess and the more time passes and the more cruisers we get it only gets even worse. Cruisers and their roles/playstyles are all so over the place that I'd like to see a CL/Atlanta, Smolenk, Colbert and the like skill tree where you get stuff like IFHE only there freeing space in skills for the rest. Another one for regular heavy cruisers, and one for large cruisers, Dutch 8-10 cruisers, the French large cruisers and the like bringing back fire prevention and secondary build skills for them. -
I just remembered many years ago, when the indicator of if you're spotted or not used to be a commander skill. It's been so long I forgot what the skill was called. Situational Awareness or something like that I think. At some point WG decided that something so basic as the game telling when you're spotted or should be a default, and since then it changed to what you have now, where the game just tells you when something is spotting you. I'm starting to have a very similar feeling to this with Priority Target telling you how much people is aiming at you by 2 skill points. Last year or two, and specially since last commander rework I notice more and more people just dropping it on battleships, because well, duh, there are some stealthy BBs out there, but for the most part you're going to be spotted anyway so you don't really need a 2 points skill to tell you someone will be shooting at you. The thing is that I'm noticing that even cruisers and DDs are dropping it too because they need the points elsewhere so Priority Target it's getting expensive and not worth it at 2 points for a mere indicator of how many people is shooting at you, considering you visually see that anyway because of shells coming your way. Shouldn't Priority Target be the next built in skill by default and remove it from the skill tree like happened with the spotted indicator? I honestly think it's something so basic and that you can see by default by seeing incoming fire your way that I start to question why is it still a commander skill. Thoughts?
