Not a DD player, but first thing that comes to mind is using IJN DDs with the torpedo reload booster and play with a BB with the two waves of torps in a row. Looks like one of those rare missions that give those DDs in particular something they're better than any other class of DDs at for once. At the cost of smoke though.

Yeah, the old "it doesn't happen to me that often so it's ok". It doesn't matter if you detonated someone else from full health so you feel proud about your complete display of pro skills. It doesn't matter if a ship of your team gets suddenly blown up for no reason and you have that sudden disadvantadge in your team because f*** you that's why. Specially DDs no team cares about and no one needs for the objectives. Who cares? None of those guys get detonated themselves so it's a nice, cool and perfect mechanic, of course it should stay as it is. How dumb are all others to not be as enlightened as them. -

I'll concede you the "resistance" to detonations is slightly better, but I wish it really was less of an issue. It's wonderful to react to torps and turn into them to dodge them and turns out you have to eat one and you eat it on the nose and BOOM. That's what you get from reacting to torps and eating just one instead of being a potato and not straight line eating four of them in the belt. Well played WG. -
No? That's what I said. I don't play that much so I doen't bother getting the mods in the last few updates but I remember that mod and what I was saying is that I didn't get any information from that mod I couldn't get just watching around me what's going on, so what's the problem?

Well, with the X minimap mod you can shoot a ship in smoke from it's last know position if the enemy ship doesn't move from there which you can know, you can see where the ship stops in his smoke. If the ship move in the smoke you miss the shot, nothing wrong there. Also if the ship shoot from smoke you see the shell tracer with which most of us can shoot at a ship in smoke without any help, so I don't exactly know what would be the problem with the X mod and how does exactly show any information you can't get ingame.

Scharnhorst and Giulio Cesare lately. I like Mutsu too even if it's frustrating not having a decent AA in the last 2 ships. I really miss my cruiser time but I don't feel "comfortable" playing them with so much BBs last months. -

Meh, for me a 7v7 match would mean less BBs to worry about since cruisers would have to enter the battle with that limited places so not much BBs unless no cruisers at all, which would make cruisers a lot easier to play and would encourage that a lot, which for me is one of the most needed things of this game. -

Why do you need them to rework it? We all know what happens with that. The maps just get even worse with every rework, look at Islands of Ice. We can skip that step and just remove the map or make Ocean's 10% chance of appearing to 5% to fit Tears of the Desert as it is in the other 5%. -
Do you use the dispersion module? The other day I was tesing the AA module to see what the ship can do with T4/5 CVs at least with an AA build and I noticed that the dispersion was crazy without the module, maybe is that.

Well, I remember watching videos about CV gameplay when I was a potato with no idea of why those damn flying things sank me everytime so I did that. Search what was going on with those CVs. I came to understand how they drop you and the conditions they need for that and how to use that to my advantadge to evade their torpedo drops or at least make their life as difficult as possible. Which you know what? I still do, because honestly, while I understood how they play and that benefited me, it's still a kind of game I don't like. And I understand it has to be there for the people that like it, but for me CVs are people playing a completely different game that has nothing to do with how everyone else plays except for sharing targets with your team that messes with what anyone else does at will of the CV player. So, unpopular opinion as it is I loved every AA buff and I love making full AA builds on every ship decent at that to make CVs life as miserable as I can as any decent CV does with whoever it wants. And considering that's what happened with me and considering the amount of interest CVs create watching at the proportion of playerbase that bothers with them I don't know if making more "public" for everyone how a CV works would really reduce the hate for them. That's just my opinion though.

Only problem I see this morning is the 5 DDs per side on each team. Because of the torp spam you ask? I'd gladly deal with that all day long. What I can't stand is when the 5 DDs on your team are yolo kamikazes that automatically lose you the battle in the first three minutes. Please reduce the DD hard cap on battles and end this [edited], please.

Well, that's interesting, didn't know about that. However it's still strange for me. But well, like we say at my homeland "you'll never go to sleep without learning something new". Well yeah, but as shown above that still doesn't have much to do with military ships, right?

I don't understand that unless we were playing wooden ships with 20+ cannons per side. Which is not the case. What's the sense on putting a pirate flag on a military ship? Good for the ones that like it but I don't get it and will never play a masochist ranked season for such thing.

A single 9 fighter squadron? Not a CV player, but isn't that bad? As someone who sometimes makes full AA builds isn't it convenient that I just have a single squad to help shooting down and that the GZ fighting chance against planes will greatly decrease that way for each plane shot down because you sit there letting your planes being shot down or lose your time returning them to the carrier? Not to mention that a single squadron can't deal at all will all the attack squadrons you would try to stop or all the multiple fighter squadrons that will come to intercept your only fighter squadron. That idea looks lame even for someone as me...- 161 replies

I wonder how they manage to do the camos that ugly. It requires a lot of talent. It gets even better when they do it on purpose like with the clown camos of Texas or Gangut. The only bonus I notice on those camos is an increase in the chance everyone shoots at you because you hurt everyone eyes because how ugly your ship looks.
